Welcome to this new series. We will have fun doing room renovations. This was inspired by Laura over at @TheHalfassCrafter She does a "Glue Book Saturday" and she has been taking full pages from magazines and revamping them. Here is a link to one of her videos.

I also decided to give this a try! It's SO fun!! Sometimes I just have to giggle at the things I come up with!! No rules, just having fun, it's the best therapy of all!!! I live in Alberta, Canada and it's been so hot here, and we have so many wildfires burning between Alberta and BC. So many people have been evacuated from their homes, and now live with so much uncertainty, not knowing when or if they will have a home to go back too. It's so sad.
Great that you are doing this type of collage. I enjoyed it so much and looking forward to this series.

I love Laura’s fun art too and have created some of my own as well and want to make a journal called “spaces and places” with both indoor and outdoor environments to have fun with! Maybe Laura could start a challenge or prompt that encourages group members to create and share! First think I like to do is find a person or animal or two as focal points in my environment. I’ll try to post one on her page!

I love what you've done so far and I have got to get his a try. I had recieved an Amazon magazine in the mail and chucked it ........ of course. I could have cut all those little images out of it to put on a page like yours. GREAT video, gf and so much fun. ❤🎉❤

Ok, I am going to have more interactive pages, meaning I am not gluing my backgrounds down until I know where to put things, your pages are so good with the little cutouts and what not! Also, I think the rooms pages are so good for all the dogs n cats I have found!
I'm love making cut out windows and doors and tucking things in here and there. You can't have enough dogs in a room....can you!

Your pages are brilliant, my fav is the last one, I just love kooky and weird, the more, the merrier. I do something similar with my Abandoned Places Book by Kiernan Connolly where I make up a scene on top of his photography and it's my goal to make it as fun as possible where I use oversized and undersized things on the page, but I try to leave as much of his photo showing as possible. Tfs xo
