What I appreciate most about your videos is the preparation, the staging and the editing. It is obvious to me that when you are sharing a technique, you’ve given significant thought to the end product (the video) for the viewers. You tell your story of creation. Your ability to stage, film and edit the process is totally captivating - for example, always a clean background for the canvas, the way the paint cups appeared in the frame and were removed. Well done!
Absolutely gorgeous........gonna do one tonight it’s amazing ....am wondering if I could use those lil plastic shot glasses the same way on a smaller project I’m trying to do
Yeah.. but what kind of medium (and how much) are you using in the colored paints to get the bubbles... silicone? Paint and water alone are not giving you that effect for sure!!
@@Tiktusart Seriously? You can't really get those cells to form with just acrylic paint and water... you need some sort of lubricant either silicone or specific medium... Come again?
I think it's the colors. So it's because of the brand. It doesn't work with all colors, black and blue and some reds react with the white and create these little cells. Also, the technique, when it runs out from under the cup, there seems to be an optimal mix that makes for these cells.
Hi Lars!
What an amazing piece of work, I am so much in love with your work. Question 1: did you add water to the white before spreading it on the canvass. Question 2: what is the name of the tool you use in spreadng the white on the canvass
There is a link in the description on mixing paint with the right amount of water before you start working on the canvas. Flooding the canvas and spreading the paint out with the trowel gives a base for the colours to be manipulated. Have the canvas raised off the table with little blocks of wood or large map pins. This prevents the canvas sticking to the table when the paint dries, for 24 to 48 hours. Plastic cups are convenient for mixing paint with small sticks. Plastic tablecloths protect workable. Kitchen paper helps to clean up. Made a muddy mess, not a colourful canvas? Probably too many colours in one cup. Limit yourself to 3 or 4 colours per cup to begin with. Still don't like what you have made? Scrape it off and start again, it's only paint. For more recipes and techniques just search paint pours.

Love the technique idea. As I watched you tilt your canvas, I wished you would have stopped sooner. Love what I saw. I'm no artist and no business giving my opinion, I just know I liked what I saw. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Stacey, I only cut off the inside bottom. the bottom still has an edge. it sucks to the bottom of the canvas and so no paint runs out when you fill it. the other way around is a different effect If you turn the cup upside down, the paint will run out from under the cup when you fill it.
@@Tiktusart I think what it is we actually want to know is why do you make two cuts in order to use the bottom portion of the cup instead of making just one cut and using the top portion of the cup?

What's the step that gets it so shiny?! A polyurethane?
Superb
❤️
Awesome
Very nice. Do you use mediums or only water? When the paint is fully dry what if it cracks?
It's really really amazing 🙂
What kind of paint do you use... Want to try this with my nephew... This is messy, totally his style
Such a cool pour! Thank you!
Did you use silicone?

Really like this idea! Will try that too :-)
Did you use any silicone? What pouring medium did you use?
❤️ amazing 🤍.
Great

in the picture, it's really just paint and water. you can find the recipe here: th-cam.com/video/cagHGb0oapo/w-d-xo.html

Very beautiful! I love watching the different techniques you use and always eagerly await the results. Also, watching you is so relaxing.
Hi, that was AWESOME!!!! 2 questions... which color did you add silicone to and the other is what size is this canvas?? THANK YOU very much 🤗
Thank you. i did not add silicone. the colors seem to react with each other and the cells occur.
The canvas size is 12x16 in
@@Tiktusart WOW, ok good to know. Thank You for replying back 🤗
I see a foot with toes top right centre - nice work - could be the next Mondrian.... What do you all see?
How did you get the cells with only water? And,no torch?

Is the paint just mixed with water
Why do I mix the colors with each other, please tell me? 🙏
Takes about a week to dry?

😍
Reminds me of marble
How to dry
Sorry I didn't like it but I loved it! Wow. That's fantastic.
oho my god this is wow. I feel like that I am looking google map
Is that wood???
this is a canvas stretched over a wooden frame.
But you can also paint it directly on wood.
@@Tiktusart thank you so much 💜
This is stunning wow!!!! Thank you for the step by step we beginners need that.
