Marsha came off as delightfully weird and sweet until Jenivieve's night and then she was just unnecessarily mean all night, same with Ryan.
Ryan has to be my favourite human ever. I would love him as a friend!

If she thinks dropping salmon is a huge traumatic experience I feel for her if anything really big happens.
unless you work in the industry. you dont know. there is a double standard. one minimum wage for people with main streem jobs, and, a lower one for tipped employees. As a Chef, I know that a tip should be earned, I worked in hot trendy resteraunts back in the day where the good servers were taking home more in a day than I was as a highly qualified Chef, was making in a week!
Believe me, they earned that money! It takes knowlege, style, and personality, as well as a great attention to detail! If you dine out often, you know what great service is!
It looks easy. Its not! None of these contestants can pull that off!They dont care eneough!
It got me when she said that she hates people. Plus i concur what you said. It is a tough yet rewarding and unrewarding trade at times but you get to learn valuable people skills which is a great stepping stone towards where you want to end up in life, that's if you don't want to stay a server for the rest of your life. Ps. Kudos to you!
I don't get why waiters get tips anyway.... they get payed like every other job.
@@lovinlife6941 some of them don't get paid and some of them get paid so little that if they didn't get tipped they wouldn't survive. don't know what country you live in but imagine working for $4 an hour or less
@@danicaloveshugs6494 lol every other country on earth other than north america, i will not tip as i worked as a chef+ for 10 years and the only reason a person gets a tip is beacause of the food not the 10 steps of walking to give it to the customer, pay the waiter a living wage like the rest of earth

traumatic is an over exaggeration definitely. but having a dinner party is stressful enough, let alone doing it on television with strangers and then messing up the most important dish of the meal. i would definitely lose some sleep lol

The cast of characters in this episode was so entertaining. OMG. I laughed so much. What makes me cringe though was all those people ate salmon off her floor. And she was the most cunning of all of them. Disgusting and bizarre.

Yeah, idc...that wasn't a real win. Marsha showing up like that was inappropriate, she did her weird dress thing on her night. It was basically sabotage and it worked. Kathryn even let it go on for a bit but enough was enough. Then marsha whines that it was only like 5min...oh you sneaky you know what. You likely would have tied for last place if Genevieve hadnt dropped the salmon.
Also, not food related, but damn Ryan looks different with or without his glasses....younger without, I usually love glasses on people but he dressed differently too when not wearing them, I had to double take if it was the same person. Lol

And shame on him for making such a display of being bored during Jenevieve's story, when he bored pretty much every viewer with his bullshit waterworks display. I'd have actually given him a very low score for that. He quite plainly doled it out because he knew his food wouldn't stand on its own. Very poor hosting. I've a feeling he 'made' his bullies feel homophobic.

How awful desperate of Marcia to role play that character which yanked Katharine's chain causing her to lose her temper. It seemed that Marcia was also getting back at Katharine for the small scene that occurred over the pink champagne gaffe Marcia made pouring the champagne over Katharine's dessert forgetting Katharine's pledge against imbibing alcohol, or maybe that was intentional because Katharine said to Marcia after Marcia's main course, "I give you a lot of credit for trying out." I don't like the episodes wherein mind games are played: very poor sportsmanship behavior.
The editing is bizarre. Some of what they say makes little sense.

Same , like why should it be by force to spend money on the waiter after spending money on what you came for ( the food and drinks ) . That’s like going to a hotel and the receptionist expecting a tip when you’ve already paid for the room . Idk why people think they’re entitled to other people’s money 🤣
Wayvy Queen I think in the US it is to substitute some of their wages as they don’t get paid as much? In the U.K. though I don’t understand the necessity of tips as they get paid the same amount as other people. I still tip though if they have provided a good service haha.
@@xaoc6084 I only tip when I get a good service. Good service for me is fulfiling your job role with a smile, good communication and a nice positive helpful personality. My other half always leaves a tip.

I thought Canadians were supposed to be nice! Holy shit! These people are horrible! Altho I would love to spend time with the Winner and the two people who were tied. The other two women were pretty judgemental. I adored the young girl with the imagination and the gay man the best.
So Ryan had quite a cry fest during his night but when Genevieve had an emotional moment during her night he was bored and rude.....I'm not always sure if it's the editing or if people can actually be do cold and selfish.
