- Couples Come Dine With Me 11/04/2016. In Birmingham, married couple Veda and Varun kick off the competition with a Bollywood bash whilst Rachel and Anna try impress with their home cooked favourites and the last host Sue and Dave throw a top hat tea party.

I love Sue! Never judge a book by the cover. In the beginning I expected two bigger ladies to be more empathetic and nice and Sue to be sort of stuck up and I was very wrong and now feel bad for judging. Her Alice in wonderland outfit was everything.
I really don't like it when someone clearly score the others low to try and win.... it is pathetic when they win because of obvious , well,.... kinda cheating.... so clear to see!!
Thank the show itself for chosing flaky people as if we are all going to think it is cute or amusing .

That was the meanest and saddest episode I have seen in terms of the pettiness of the winners.
I love Sue and Dave, for their effort and good quality food. The lesbian couple is so mean for scoring them so low to win. Not deserve to win.

The gay couple acted all ` fun fun`, but were really mean with scores, and complained a lot, in the comments. They cheated their way to victory. The Indian couple should have won, for sure, they are the only ones who know how to cook, and they have great personalities.
When I was in India I noticed restaurants spiced their food for western tourists. I asked for my food to be spiced as they would for an Indian. It was fabulous and the waiter and the chef were very pleased. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Watching re-runs of CDWM but there is NO way I can watch this again -- those two girls are absolutely despicable and they did not deserve to win - they made certain they won by low-scoring -- I have no words that wouldn't get me banned from TH-cam. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Why do the lesbian couple act so surprised that they won? Lowballed the other couples. Sue and Dave's food would have to be inedible to score them a 9.
The tele tubbies voted so low, they had to win because the others tried to be fair.

How was the food sub-par? They made everything from scratch and their guests enjoyed it. The courses were quite simple, but they were done well. But yeah, they scored the others a bit too low.
They were very strategic with the scores. It’s very obvious when the differences is scoring is so huge. Oh well some people are definitely in it to win it no matter what.

The Indian couple should have won. In the U.S. you really have to go seek out that type of food specifically. I’ve never had Indian food and I would have been super excited to try their menu.
Yes! I’m from Texas and it’s so hard to find a good Indian restaurant here. they were so lucky they able to try the real thing. I was salivating!
Where do you live?., there’s great Indian restaurants in many cities/places in the US. If there are none in your area maybe you could check out some Indian cooking channels/recipes & go for it to try & make some for yourself!! If you can’t find certain ingredients or spices in your area you can always have them shipped to you.

Can't believe they won with such a simple menu, potato skins and parma wrapped chicken? Ffs they didn't even bother buying decent cheese, just processed pre grated supermarket stuff. A teenager could have put that meal together. They deliberately low scored the other couples, they should have denied the win for cheating, and the money split between the others. Poor show from the producer is this program for supporting such underhanded behavior.
And the huge glob of raw tomato paste? Who the hell uses raw tomato paste to stuff anything?
The scoring system of this show is why Dinner Party Wars is a better show. They have judges who fairly pick the winners instead have the constants lowballing each other or being brats because that counts against their score
I really think they should be made to return the money when it’s obvious they cheated.

Those people never realized that the theme was 'Alice in Wonderland'. Not very bright and very rude. Sue was very kind to them. Even after they ate the cookie they still didn't pick up on that theme.
I hope these three couples have stayed in touch! This was so sweet to watch!

The first couple should have won. I couldn't believe the scores of the 2nd couple. Very obvious what they did. Spoils the enjoyment of the show a bit....smh.
The fatty's were nit picking on everyone's food especially since they look very unhealthy and scored low, I understand Sue and Dave's night as they did not make some dishes from scratch but Veda and Varun's dishes look really good it was only the dessert that let them down thanks for this episode .

agreed - score in front of the hosting couples so lowball scores can be disputed and the scorer has to explain why they scored low.

Oh god those two big guys complained about everything, everyone and every meal. They only ate their own stuffed potato, massive chicken and overly chocolate brownie. They scored every one really low and then they WON!
They made the food version of themselves. Overstuffed, aesthetically unappealing, boring and gross.

How on earth did the big girls win with that menu of theirs. They purposely complained about the other couples' dishes and gave lower scores. They absolutely cheated because they needed money for their wedding. They are quite big for the picky eaters they pretended to be. Shame on them!!!!!

Does anyone know where I can find music from the show. It was a song played at the end of a show, but I can’t understand what the singer is singing. I have just the very end of it recorded. It was season 39 episode 26 - Belfast - Ryan’s night. I can’t join other search sites as I don’t live in the UK. I’d really like to know the name of that song. This show is so entertaining but I don’t get why the competitors score each others it seems too easy to cheat that way, like that’s obviously what happens a lot on this show
People judged Sue very incorrectly, it says more about them actually. Sue is frank but kind and has a groovy personality. How did they not see that? The same sex couple is annoying and have boring personalities so I'm not surprised they have the most to say about her.
Those ladies are the most boring couple. They had to cheat because everything about them is so basic.

Yeah this two ladies I find them backstabber. They really made sure that they are the one who will win the competition by given the other couples a very low score. The first couple is made from scratch and they actually tested their food unlike them. They played dirty.

Also when they critised the pastry, not many people who are not professional chefs/bakers will take on puff pastry, they clearly did no know the difference between puff and shortcrust. Mind you they were too dumb to pick up the theme, so what do you expect. Terrible bad manners eating that chocolate shown by both couples.

Stop trying to make it out as if we northerners all still leave school at 14 to go to work in the mines, count by rote, and consider watching a bit of ferret-legging as a good evening's entertainment. We got as many free museums and libraries as anywhere in the south and our schools enjoy the same curriculum as those everywhere else in the UK, so if you had no idea about Alice in Wonderland, it's on you.
You are NOT "pinching" toiletries from hotel rooms when you are a paying guest of that room; although I do believe taking the toilet roll is going too far. We take the toiletries that we do not use from the rooms we pay for & then pass them on to women's shelters, where they are greatly appreciated.

The food is sooo simple! Tomato soup and potato skins, chicken wrapped in Parma ham, brownies for dessert 😴😴They would never in a million years have qualified for the Swedish version of this show, where you actually need to know how to cook, and come up with a creative menu!
