Great photography. Care has been taken. A feast for the eyes helping me with my preparation for 2025. Much gratitude for contributing to support future fellow hikers.
Generally it is very good. I was camping in the hills mostly, not following the guide days rigidly and it was possible to pass shops and cafes at the wrong times, so I tried to plan to carry a bit more when passing places I thought might not be open. Remember that no lunch is served before 12 or after 2pm in most French places. Food and water is less available in the Catalan section. Enjoy.
Loved your video's, will help me to plan my trip - crossing the Pyrenees by mountainbike. I do have a question, what are the temperatures during the night?
Hi, I guess it takes a different route in places as it’s a bit steep and rough? My coldest night was in July at around 2000m and just above freezing. The alcohol a bruler would not light!
@@MinackerMovies Thanks. Much colder than I expected espacially for July! My plan is to do some parts of the Gr10 only if it is rideable - and your video's help a lot to see which parts.
It can be, but tbh most of the time it was warmer, between 10-20 c depending on altitude and weather, but be prepared, some people have had snow even in august at high points. There are quite a few lower alternative routes and roads you can use for biking. Happy planning.
Hi Alan could you recommend a particular 7 day section from the whole trail? Would like to camp and use huts etc. Uk based so logistics would come in to it too. Thanks.
Hi, Its all lovely, but for a short visit you could do worse than visiting the middle section from around Gavarnie onwards, very accessible, plenty of accommodation and great walking, but the towns can get a bit busy. I recommend you get the Cicerone GR10 guide, very helpful. Enjoy.

There is now a book of the trek, "Step by Step Across the Pyrenees on the GR10 - Amazon
A beautiful video thank you.
It looks a green and pleasant land for the most part. Good going. Mark
i really enjoyed this :) my friend has asked me to join him in walking the route. im worried about my fitness but mulling it over. thanks for sharing
Joshua, if you can get some 15k practise walks in including some decent hills you should be fine, just ease yourself in at the start of the walk.
I enjoyed watching that
Wow. Well done my middle-aged friend ! Can one do this section walking 9 miles a day ?
Yes, probably, it has quite a few villages and towns, plus some refuges, or if camping, its even more flexible.
How was food supply on the gr10 did you have to carry food for more than two days at any point?
