I walked the GR10 thirteen years ago. Your four part video series has brought back many happy memories of a wonderful journey. I, like yourself, carried all my needs and stayed in a tent most nights. It was a fantastic experience.
Thank you for making the effort to collate all this information and posting it here. Merci beaucoup. Norrie frae Lithgae (Linlithgow, Scotland).
Thank for your comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the videos. Well done for also completing the walk, it's pretty tough but so enjoyable eh?

Really nice great scenery thanks for sharing
Wow! Spectacular hiking. Thanks for sharing your adventure. It's definitely making me want to visit the Pyrenees (again) :) I've watched a few of your youtubes now. One covering some aspects of how you did it (eg do you have to ring ahead to refuges?) and why you chose to camp / refuge would be fantastic if you've got spare time in lockdown!!
Hi, thanks, glad you like them. I’ll consider an informative video. There is a lot of info out there already. The Cicerone guide is very good and Brian Johnson the author has a website with more info. Also Steve Cracknell has a website dedicated, with lots of info. For me, I only booked ahead if I knew I was going to a busy centre with limited alternatives but mostly took a chance. Never booked a refuge and only booked one campsite at Burisp and one hotel at the end, plus one at Ax. If you do it, you’ll love it.
There is now a book of the trek, "Step by Step Across the Pyrenees on the GR10 - Amazon
