Yeah even though I don't believe the books will ever be written, I don't think George would want the backlash to happen again. Also, without a Targaryen nothing happens in this universe. People either die or need them to survive. There's no way the last ones would just be killed off. Either she is being resurrected or Jon will finally decide to respect the sacrifice his parents made for him and fight for the crown. The stupid idea Kitt had for a very depressing series was rightfully scrapped.

Twow is gonna be so good, it’s giving me chills just thinking about it. If I was a betting man I would put money on this theory! Dany was the mummers dragon, but now she’s a true dragon lord
George has already pointed out that Meereen is a parallel to King's Landing. While it seems in this chapter, the Dothraki Sea is a parallel for Dragonstone. So let's think about this, since Aegon the Conqueror built King's Landing and unified the 7 Kingdoms, House Targaryen constantly deteriorated until eventually they lost their dragons and then their throne. It was in the Dothraki Sea that they regained them. Dany deteriorated in Meereen, lost her dragons, and regained her dragons in the Dothraki Sea. In other words Dany's home is Dragonstone not King's Landing.

Getting yourself all worked up about two strangers opinions about such a thing isn’t healthy
I can relate to this part of her story the most. I have lost myself over years of traumatic experiences and broken friendships and relationships. Broken and bent allowed myself to be shaped and pushed around by other people. And found I didnt like at all what I became, yet felt like I had to be what I was. It was really tough and took a couple attempts on my life to finally find the drive to break out of that faux comfort zone. And look for the real me and find that inner power again.
Totally agreeing here. Part of what personally draws me to Dany's story is the search for love of one's self, the search for home being simply who you are. It does kind of feel like flying when you find that. I'm still trying to wiggle out of my own chains and find myself again. I'm glad you found your way
Dany having the self realization of what a dragon really is reminds me a lot of Aegon after his cyvass game with Tyrion. At that point he embarrassed the dragon within, winning the confidence of some of the hardest men in the world, defying cautious orders and choosing to lead them in battle, and taking an intake able magic castle. All almost simultaneously with Dany.
These Dany videos are my favourites. I hope you're right and that Dany ends up freeing herself and others. She's already become a symbol of freedom for multitudes in Essos. If she ends up a mass-murdering maniac I'll eat my hat.
The paralleling storylines of Cersei and Daenerys that George has crafted makes this line and wording from Daenerys quite fascinating: " But in the Red Waste, her *joy had turned to ashes* ".... Cersei was threatened with having *her* joy turned to ashes (in her mouth).

Loved it! Very well thought out. Also, just a small thing that further supports this theory: Dany has NEVER been sick before. She walks among the bloody flux and simply does not become infected. She even says something like, 'Have you ever seen a sick dragon?' Basically, Targaryens are very resistant to diseases and infections. So you could argue that the reason she got sick in the first place is because she was no longer a dragon. And the sickness was killing her because she was denying her Valyrian heritage and returning to Merreen. But as soon as she comes to terms with who she is, the sickness apparently goes away. She is now a True Dragon!
We get the information over and over again in AGoT: The Dothraki follow strenght. No BS side quest about Dany burning some old woman and getting saved by magic. Take those Dothraki back to Mereen right there - at the end of her chapter.

ulises leon might wanna work on editing that for comprehension. At the end of the day I don’t see why people get so hot and bothered about theorizing about an unfinished work of fiction and art that leave a lot to the imagination and is ultimately entertainment From everything I know about george, he really does love his fan base, and it’s evident when he encourages them to continue speculating. A lot of People don’t even know that famous quote about “this isn’t Tolkien” was in a horror novel he wrote called the Armageddon rag that shares heavy similarities to our ASOIAF story. As does all his writings, I encourage everyone to read as much and let that help influence your biases
Reading and listening to the last Dany chapter never made any sense to me. It was boring and forgettable compared to other chapters...but that’s what he does. He puts the most mind blowing information where you least expect it! I will never read them the same again!
I want to thank you both for taking the time to give such a thorough analysis of Daenerys' chapters so far. Throughout the series, you've pointed out so many things I hadn't thought of before. By the way, do you think there is any significance in the recurring image of the moon as far as Dany, Bran, and Arya's chapters go? As you mention here, the moon appears as a crescent for Dany and she is often referred to as moon by Drogo. The time passing for Bran in the cave of the children is marked by the changing of the moon, with an emphasis on the crescent. Arya's chapters have a lot of moon imagery and her identity is dictated by the waxing and waning of the moon in the Cat of the Canals chapter. Could there be any connection between the three here?
To go North you must go South sounds like a parallel to Stannis. I hope she ends up going North to fight the Others with Fire and Blood. She would be mercifully killing them and breaking them of their ice zombie chains. Great video, and I can't wait for the live stream to discuss the video. Thanks for your hard work.
Drogon's behaviour in the arena was totally consistent with that of Sunfyre during the Dance of the Dragons. I don't know if you guys are fans of that particular dragon though...
Dave, are you ever coming back? I miss the wonderful insights you have on the (hopefully) upcoming "Winds of Winter." Please come back. You are missed.
Quick question: George said that he wants there to be only 7 books in total but given where we are in the story do you think that he should bite the bullet and extend them to 8? Because A LOT would have to be crammed into two books and Daenerys is barley going to encounter the dothraki and maybe take them over before leaving for meereen to regroup, the young griff storyline has really just begun, the others have scarcely been expanded upon, and let's not forget about euron's whole plot. AFFC is what I think of where the finer details had to be fully developed and couldn't be rushed and is what I think might have to happen after TWOW.
It makes sense that when she become a real dragon that she was cured of the fever. Earlier in the book she feels safe walking though the sick people outside Meerin because a Dragon doesn't get sick. Something about them running to hot for sickness to take them. Though I was a bit unsure if this is really something that dragon lords really had because we have a few stories in the histories of Targaryens dying because of illness. Then I remembered that it was more likely poison those times or it was a Targaryen that wasn't a true Dragon. Also really like the line that "Dragon's do not plant trees" though only if your theory that the children of the forest are evil. If that is wrong and the children are not with the others then it could be seen as a very bad thing that dragons do not plant trees. Though it also may put a question into if the dragon lords where first men. After all the Ned says that his gods where the gods of the green wood. However if we are looking at Garth the Green it could very well be that the green wood is less wild forest and more gardens that have gone a bit wild. Plus it really depends on where the first men dragon lords lived when in Westoros they could have lived in Dorne where trees are not very common or in a place that trees are so common that they had no reason to plant more of them. Anyway this was a great video thank you.
Quentyn Martel as a the sun is what I got too. I thought the sea growing dry is yes the Dothraki Sea but it could be Dany's someday kahlasar leaving for Westeros (thus drying the sea of people) like Dumb and Dumber put in HBO's fan fiction. I still like my idea better than your grass dying in autumn. The mountain in the wind I like your interpretation, but will keep my eye open for others. My guess was could a GRRM-sized wall turned to eleven be a mountain? Something something happens at Casterly Rock? Dunno. I think you could get that one, I'd not considered Mereen's pyramids.
I never realized how much was hidden away in Dany's pov's in the later books. Everytime I got to one of her chapters and saw she was STILL in Meereen I was just like, "omfg... I'll come back and read it later." And then never did lol. Her story really ground to an abrupt halt and became an absolute chore to get through when she got to that city, but I guess that was the point? You aren't really reading about Danaerys Targaryen anymore in a metaphorical way. She needs to burn it to the ground and leave, before we ALL go insane.
Hey there green folks how are y’all doing today, and thank you for my work life listening lol I appreciate yah and can yah do an seireis on old man I feel she’d got a lot of T, I keep saying it lol 😂
I think Drogon bonded to Dany like Aegon and his dragon. But her hesitation and temporary losing of identity strained it. Dragons are only loosely "controlled". It seems to me that you have to ve sure and confident for the Dragons to listen.
I was so excited to see another video and once again you two did not disappoint. Great video about the real Daenerys Targaryen. Far better then the person who Weinioff turned her into. I bet they have Lying POS Andal blood. Can't wait to see the livestream Thursday.
Thank you for this, OOTGH. I must have watched the whole series at least 10 times since May. Will you continue it when TWOW gets released and we know more about Dany's fate?
Can you do a video of how Bran might become King in the books? I really suspect that in the TWoW and ADoS will happen a Second Dance of Dragons, with Jon emerging out of it as a winner but grew tired of the game of thrones and will pass the crown to Bran and have simpler life having a wife, kids and a home and forming a hybrid house between Stark and Targaryen. I also belive that Aegon III The Dragonbane's stor arc from F&B heavily mirrors Bran's story arc.
19:19 😲😲😲 Mind = blown Jaw = dropped U guys r totally something. I have read this chapter 4 times now, it seems like my stupid mind just read blank words.
I dont know why but the way you describe the new dragonstone makes me think that a likely ending for Dany in Westeros may not actually be death. The rebirth on the new dragonstone is potentially telling because the original was the location the targaryans chose to make their new base of operations. It feels like a possible seed of the eventual desire to return. At the very least George will definately bring the idea back up at some point again in the books, even if she decides to stay.
it would also move the biggest khalasar back east sort of resetting the clock on the dothraki sea allowing the slave cultures to develop better agriculture and move to more fertile lands, thus leading them to develop past slave societies. This would allow dany to actually end the problems in slavers bay. pretty nice bow on it but george did say he was going for bitter sweet. Bitter could be having to give up on westeros but sweet being she can start anew, live for herself, and deal with all her responsibilities.
Wonderfull video, I hope u guys make a prediction video for her in TWoW. I have a question.. I thought Targaryens don’t become ill, at least not with common illnesses. Why did she get fever? BTW, I loved how D&D appeared at the word “scum” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Good one!!
It's all ill-fated, however. Her child was stillborn. She herself was reborn, she became an authentic individual and situational inheritor -- by going back, to her family roots, to raw power and nerve, to Fire and Blood. She may add to her titles that of the Re-Conquerer, but in the Song's end the scales are going to tip to Old Gods and the Children and Bloodraven and Bran, not to dragons methinks. That bloom has expired in Westeros, for now. (Mayhaps one day it will return ~properly~ with the sword Blackfyre, and a reputable claim, and Bran the Broken's assent.)
Dumb and Dumber killed Dany, and you guys brought back our Dragon Queen in this video where she’s reborn.

ulises leon might wanna work on editing that for comprehension.
At the end of the day I don’t see why people get so hot and bothered about theorizing about an unfinished work of fiction and art that leave a lot to the imagination and is ultimately entertainment
From everything I know about george, he really does love his fan base, and it’s evident when he encourages them to continue speculating.
A lot of People don’t even know that famous quote about “this isn’t Tolkien” was in a horror novel he wrote called the Armageddon rag that shares heavy similarities to our ASOIAF story. As does all his writings, I encourage everyone to read as much and let that help influence your biases
@ulises leon
Trolllllllll! Troll in the dungeon!
Thought you ought to know.
Gawd I love this series! You guys did an awesome job!
There is nothing better after college that the Greenhand 💪🏻
I love your theory! Her return will be EPIC!!
hahah i actually laughed out loud when you showed the pic and said mago and jako
Oh man i have been waiting for this for a while now. Thank you for doing it.
It is Known! Thank you Green Hand! Again ! Sad it's the final video for this Magnificent series ❤
I used to really dislike dany and thought her plotline was boring but your videos are beginning to make her one of my favourite characters
Excellent content. Most thought-provoking!
Quick question:
George said that he wants there to be only 7 books in total but given where we are in the story do you think that he should bite the bullet and extend them to 8? Because A LOT would have to be crammed into two books and Daenerys is barley going to encounter the dothraki and maybe take them over before leaving for meereen to regroup, the young griff storyline has really just begun, the others have scarcely been expanded upon, and let's not forget about euron's whole plot. AFFC is what I think of where the finer details had to be fully developed and couldn't be rushed and is what I think might have to happen after TWOW.
Creepy Closet I’d happy if the man made 10,000 books. He is a terrific writer!
It's nice to hear Dave on a new video
Man! What a ride this series was! Amazing as always!
"When the sun rises in the west and sets in the east"
Another great video to watch as I workout. Thanks team.
I absolutely LOVED this series!! Thank you for giving my wonderful Dany back to me after the travesty of S8!!
It means she will become the ruler Westeros so desperatley needs.
Daenerys is such an interesting character. George really knows how to make us root for the conquerors huh?
Yup I'm about to reread the series. Again. Throughout this series I've just been saying "that's ma Queen" in my head and in my Jon Snow voice🙇🏽♀️
😂😂😂 i think i agree !!
I take it the straggler that Drogon took down to feast upon didn't have a rider on its back? 😞
Hey there green folks how are y’all doing today, and thank you for my work life listening lol I appreciate yah and can yah do an seireis on old man I feel she’d got a lot of T, I keep saying it lol 😂
I didn't pick up on Dany's control of Drogo or her sickness abating at all. Nice video.
Liking it even before watching it, I know it will be excellent!
I died laughing at D&D at the end in place of the dothraki who wronged her, most poetic! #MyDragonQueen
Thank you for this, OOTGH. I must have watched the whole series at least 10 times since May. Will you continue it when TWOW gets released and we know more about Dany's fate?
Almost certainly
Can you do a video of how Bran might become King in the books? I really suspect that in the TWoW and ADoS will happen a Second Dance of Dragons, with Jon emerging out of it as a winner but grew tired of the game of thrones and will pass the crown to Bran and have simpler life having a wife, kids and a home and forming a hybrid house between Stark and Targaryen. I also belive that Aegon III The Dragonbane's stor arc from F&B heavily mirrors Bran's story arc.
19:19 😲😲😲
Mind = blown
Jaw = dropped
U guys r totally something.
I have read this chapter 4 times now, it seems like my stupid mind just read blank words.
wow, it's the first time I heard anyone cracked the prophecy on Danny's fertility!
You have outdone yourselves... beautiful 😍 y'all must be working really hard
Amazing analysis! I really enjoyed and appreciate this series.
I Think TWoW will come out on July
Not that I know something is just A Guess
Wow powerful video!!
We think denying her dragons and her bond to them made her susceptible to diseases and her burns became infected
I actually squealed seeing this pop up LOL
