You guys do make the bins look fun. One suggestion I would have is to use a mesh laundry bag for the backpack; you can add the towels inside the bag to help clean. The reason I would do this is to not break/tear up your machine; all those strings, zippers and bungee cords can cause damage.👍👏
I went to the bins one time and the rude people that continually cut me and my daughter in line ruined it for me and drove up my blood pressure. lol You guys are so cute, makes me almost wish I had a significant other.
Honestly…you guys are the most photogenic couple ever! I love how you start your day together, and enjoy doing exactly the same thing…what a great partnership!!❤️🫶🏻❤️
I think I have every tour and album t-shirt Elton John ever did! Originals! My little brother was a Pianist and a huge Elton John fan. He saw him several times and had all of his albums. He saved all of the t-shirts and sweatshirts and of course he had so many other bands. I have save them but for the love of my brother I cannot sell them. At least not now. It's been 4 years and I just cannot seem to let go . RIP my sweet brother Eric❤
My #1 favorite Elton John song is "Mama Can't Buy You Love." I remember hearing it on the loud speakers at Walmart several years ago. As soon as I got home, I searched, found it and played it over and over.
@hiyellagal I like Pinky. It's probably because my brother has a vocal demo on TH-cam and did such a good job. I'd only heard it a few times prior to that.
I love the bins! Such fun treasure hunting. Some people in my area spend the day at the bins. I have found amazing things to resell. You guys did great!
Karen, Your Husband's eyes are so dreamy. You must melt when you look into his eyes. Wow! You two hit the jackpot today. What a great haul. Wishing you two a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Your Goodwill outlet bins store is calm. Ours here in Indianapolis is huge. There is not to many people at our Goodwill bin first thing in the morning.
This was a fun video! You and Roger were having a great time at the Bins!!! I love the happy fun time y’all have together!!! Thank you for taking us along!! ❤❤
Never underestimate bins that have been picked over! I have found stacks of cashmere sweaters, St. John, Lilly Pulitzer- all the good things! I also found a Steiff Bear from the 40s that sold for $220 in 3 days. Paid 37 cents!
My son is an Eagle Scout. When he achieved Star rank our Troop would buy the Scout a backpack with external frame. He’s now 44 and still uses that backpack! He’s been to Isle Royale National Park several times. You must take your trash with you when you leave. Wolves, moose and great adventures. We are native Michiganders.✋🏼 The dog was a boxer.
Great video! Love your channel. When you show this thrift side at the bins, it's sad to me to see such waste. I'm so overwhelmed with the amount going to the landfills. I appreciate you all the more. Thank you both.❤
So glad I watched this! An outlet opened up 30 min from me. This confirmed I do not want to go 😂! Looks like so much trash and so many rules haha! I'll stick to estate sales but your video was sure entertaining so thanm you!
“You’re the Queen!”. Lol, I love Roger. This video had me laughing so much and it was so fun to see you guys being silly and enjoying each other‘s company. You’re such a cute couple. It was very interesting about the bins because videos I’ve seen from other creators at the bins have been much more disorganized than where you guys were. I’ve never seen bins with specific categories such as holiday, books, etc. And what a fantastic haul y’all found! I will be eyeing a couple of those things when they appear in your store. ❤
I watch all your videos. I just wanted to say that both of you are so cute together. It makes me smile. Thank you for the time you put into this great channel !
Love the pillows, but a good haul all around. Your Halloween story reminded me that when big kids stole my little boy’s trick or treat bag, people felt so sorry for him they gave him a new bag and much more than he would have had otherwise. Such kindness!
Awesome finds! Thank you for the shout out so much!❤ You got me started selling on eBay 4 years ago! Which lead to me finding my first sewing machine. You played a big part so thank you🙏
Love watching your videos. I was very disappointed that you didn’t purchase that beautiful crocheted blanket. The off white one. I made one for a baby blanket years ago. It took at least 40 hours to make one the size of a baby blanket so someone put lots of hours into the one you left behind.
Hello you two 👋 It looks like you had a good experience at the bins, which is wonderful. I’ve been a bit scared to try it, but will definitely give it a shot someday. Have a beautiful Sunday ❤
Hi Karen.... Just a little tip ..... I will often use "spray and wash" and let the item sit for a full day before washing. This way, the spray can really do its job in penatrating the stain(s)....works really well.
I love the bins! I let the aggressive folks go first as they are trying to make a living and I’m just having fun. The workers are so nice and helpful to explain the rules to rookies like me.
I’ve had the best deals from bins. Especially since regular Goodwill is ridiculous. I will say I don’t rely on reselling for a living, but as a fun reseller, it’s great. I really enjoy your videos. You guys,as this is your living, people don’t realize how much work this is. Kudos, love seeing your videos and your beautiful home. Happy Thanksgiving ❤️
Hi Karen and Roger! I like the bins but don't go very often. I like to dig but don't like the aggressive digging when the bin first comes out. I wait until the fray settles and most times I can find something great that was overlooked.
Many of the bin stores have a price list up by the register for heavy items that is cheaper then the per pound price. Also, for items like blankets, quilts and golf clubs, they will just make up a set flat fee price when you get to the cashier and it never goes on the scale.
@@lavenderclothesline I mention it because you said you left an item due to it's weight and some of your viewers who try a bin store might not know there can still be a way to buy those heavier items, for even less then the posted per pound price. 🙂
Karen, Roger has had an effect on you. I remember when you shopped at the bins, but you downplayed your visits. And you would never highlight your experience even when you found good items. You would always say, "I'm not a bins shopper, but you would be shopping at the bins. Blahahaaahaaaa....😅 too funny! Thanks for sharing. #SheisMonaLisa314
Hi Karen- I used to work at a thrift store that used a water & alcohol spray that we mixed up ourselves to sanitize our pillows and linens. We had to attach a special tag and date it as a state regulation for reselling used linens. You may want to check into this to save you washing and dry cleaning time.
Roger, one of my fave reseller TH-camrs, Locker Nuts (Jack), got 2-3 huge storage units filled with model trains mostly never opened/NIB and other models like planes, etc. You would have loved them. Karen, the cleaning segment of the backpack was great. Cute boxer dog! Love the owl pillow - Karen, another reseller I watch is Thrift Adventure PNW (Amy) and she sells vintage pillows on Chairish and makes a lot on each one (sometimes $100s). Hewlett-Packard is HP (printers, computers, etc.). That was a well-mannered Bins! Love that mandala tablecloth/wall hanging and the Cotton House pillow case! You're the queen! Excellent find of that clarinet. Have a great week!
With my anxiety, I can't do the bins. Also, I don't have the temperament to deal with the grabbing and snatching. Although, your bins are roomy, and didn't seem as frantic.
The owl pillow is traditional rug hooking made of wool. Needs to be washed in cold water, wrap in towel to get most water out. Lay flat to dry. If you have a wool wash I would use that. FO NOT MACHINE AND ASH OR PUT IN DRYER.
2:39 I hate Fed Ex! If I know a seller is using Fed Ex, I will not buy from them. I have had so many issues with them & their customer service is terrible! Anyway, thought you’d like to know that from a customer perspective. Edit- I love the pillows & the squirrel tile! 🦉🐿️!!
Off the thrifting topic, but what brand is your washing machine? I need the regular dials in my life. Tired of the push button electronics that can malfunction so easily. Great video.
When loading your type of washer you need to " snake" it around the tub each piece. Otherwise don't just dump in your clothes, it will not balance correctly. When in doubt use the bulky button even for sweatshirts, jeans, sheets etc. Hope that helps
Karen, I have no idea how you can possibly shop one-handed. You are amazing!
I could shop with my toes at this point 😂😂

I’m a regular viewer but just have to comment that you are a beautiful couple
I agree so glad they found each other 🎉

Loved the video! I've wondered why you don't go to the Goodwill bins more often. I love going to my bins. It's a form of cheap entertainment for me! 😊
It’s harder to film 😊
The dog appears to be a boxer. Super great and loyal dog bread. My dad raised AKA when I was little. 😊
Definitely summer 2024. xx

The hole in candy bag😂😂😂
Bundy clarinet from early 70's! I have my original flute in the same case. It's a "school band" brand - workhorse 😄

Wow. Thanks for stopping and showing us how to clean the backpack. That was so helpful...I didn't know the settings.
Did you know that you can ship heavy things thru Grayhound bus? We ship sewing machines that way.
I did not know that!
I bought two side tables, and they sent it through Greyhound freight. It can be pretty economical.
Oh wow! Thank you for sharing that info!
I love the bins!
My girlfriend took a tablecloth like you found from India and hung it on the ceiling of her outdoor patio it was beautiful
Roger has really gotten comfortable with the camera.
Absolutely, he was sooooo shy at the beginning. And understandably!
I think that is a boxer, from what I saw, could not see it too well.
Love the pillows, but a good haul all around. Your Halloween story reminded me that when big kids stole my little boy’s trick or treat bag, people felt so sorry for him they gave him a new bag and much more than he would have had otherwise. Such kindness!

I found a large green canvas bag at the bibs, leather straps. Just shipped it yesterday. Sold for $75. Must have cost $2, maybe.

Roger, Fed Ex did the same to me when I sent out a golf club. I had the exact size too. I won’t ship anything Fed Ex anymore.
I love your trick or treat story. It was so sad but very funny. I enjoy watching you both!!!

Could be great cotton fabric for quilting.
Boxer dog statue. My parents had the porcelain version of the Boston Terrier. Your mandala is a wall hanging.

The alcohol doesn’t wash the item unfortunately 💜

The Sezane tote bag - Sezane is a high-end French clothing and home goods brand - top quality, very popular!
That tablecloth is called a cutter. Someone would buy that to cut up for projects, like add to a shirt or making a handbag.
I’ve washed many backpacks and cloth cases that way. They turn out so nice. Sometimes have to give them a couple swishes to get it all out.
