I thought those wrought iron planters were a sure thing because they are soooo amazing . Sooo I picked up 7 yes 7!!!! of them last year at a yard sale for $20🙄They sat and sat on marketplace and in my booth😡 UNTIL, I decided to plant flowers in them. I just wanted them gone. I was going to give them as gifts if they didn’t sell with the added flowers. I spent $35 on liners and flowers and 1 hour of time putting them together. They were gorgeous so I thought I would give them 1 week at booth and on MP. I sold 2 within 1 hour on MP $75 each and 3 more within 24 hours at $85 and I took the last 2 to my daughters pop up booth event and sold each of them for $135 they were larger and also had a bird motif in the metal work. After deducting cost of goods I made $680😃

So funny to watch you Karen, about the lamp at the end of the video. I love the visualization you gave us with the lamp and grandmother chair and china fabric. Lots of fun. Thank you 🇨🇦❤️
I sold a giant cabbage punch bowl, very happy it made it, shipped in a styrofoam cooler in a box. Someone gave it to me from their auction lot extra! We ish we could send pictures

Yes I love that lamp too.......as long as somebody rewires it! I think you were wanting a soft white bulb for it. I just bought one for my bathroom and it is not daylight at all, but a very soft light, which I like. Good job on this shopping trip! Love the big basket, too. Wish I lived closer to your booth!

I’m afraid I wouldn’t be much help keeping you from buying the wonderful things. I’d be there cheering you on and helping you get it in the cart! lol Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 ❤
A little late to the video. Someone else may have mentioned, but the pot in pot planter is likely for violets. You water in the lower basin and the unglazed pottery soaks up the water slowly. Love your videos!
Wow Karen. That Goodwill is amazing. I see why you drive 2 hours to shop there. Great haul today. I want to wish you, Roger & your families a Blessed Happy Thanksgiving 2024. Peace & Love to all.
I’m glad you got the lamp. You and Roger will figure it out. Or you could keep it. It’s only $10. You might need more light in one of your rooms. Great haul. I hope you and Roger have a nice thanksgiving.
Glassybabys are marked and can contain bubbles, and are not considered flaws:). Mine was marked twice “glassybaby” on the bottom and the newer ones have a boomerang mark towards the bottom. Hope it helps when you find one😀
You are so funny Karen! As other subscribers have said; we all knew you were going back for the lamp. I am saying "Oh Karen, just stop it and shove it in the cart; you know you are going to, so why are you denying it?" Yup, we are just a bunch of enablers here. Happy Thanksgiving.
The piece on the shelf at 9:03 that is a bunch of little metal stars on rods sticking out of a wood base…I think those go to the Willow Tree nativity set. That set sells pretty well.
Tumi Bag Locks: First, take a good look at the back of the retail tag. Sometimes the combo is right there, Then, check all the little pockets for a separate small tag with the combo. Still no joy, try a few standard combos: 1234, 1111, 2222, etc. Still no luck, then what I sometimes do is take the the lock, while watching evening TV and start dialing: 00001, 0002, 0003, etc. With only 3 or 4 dials, you should be able to hit on it before the movie is over. 😉
LOL!!.... I would absolutely LOVE to thrift with you, Karen...... but my problem would not be talking you out of it, I would be talking you into buying it!.... I'm so bad, I wish I had much better self discipline than I do..... it is such a beautiful lamp, so very glad you bought it!..... Also, I love your bathroom, cute decor and stunning tub!......what a wonderful get-a-way to retraet to and enjoy!! Fantastic thift haul, Karen! ...Wishing you and Roger a lovely Thanksgiving!!......Hugs and Blessings😊❤
I once found a tapestry business binder w some pens, a legal pad inside. I did a search on one of the mechanical pencil. It sold a few mos before for over $200. So, I listed it for similar. Within an hour, I got an offer for abt $80 off. I countered, but didn't sell. Overnight, it sold for full price. It was some kind of vintage architectural pencil.
The little Corningware are great pieces. I'm single, living alone. They are fantastic. I even used them when I had a husband and children who were home. It's good for canned vegetables, sauces, etc.
Omg, the piece right after the luggage, i bought at a thrift store when i was juicing and had tons of grapefruits to display. It makes me like it more that u even picked it up (but didn't buy it)lol
