I’m just starting to add Lillies in front of my daisies in my flower garden. Thank you for you help. Wasn’t sure how to cut my Lilies for arrangement. Yours are beautiful.
Just the video i need thank u. My oriental lilies are about to bloom and i want to make an arrangement for my auntie. Thanks for sharing ur knowledge 😁
The ones you are cutting…. Will they regrow this season? I planted asiatic lillies just the other day (zone 7) but a storm took all the petals. What should I do?! Thanks
They do not regrow unfortunately! One bulb produces one stalk which may produce one or more flowers depending on the size of the bulb. But once the stalk is cut it doesn’t grow back. The plant shall die back and you can save your bulb , and this happens even if you don’t cut the blooms. So as your plant now has dropped all the petals , you would just let the plant grow as normal. The plant will automatically start to die and die back from summer. Once the stalk is dry you can save the bulb for next planting in autumn.
Very nice idea of using chicken wire to hold them.. 😍
Thanks a lot 😊
Lovely display. Another fab video thank you🌹🌺
