Why did the airplane make a u-turn after leaving the gate just wandering

Thanks for watching! Also I believe the aircraft turned around because it had to wait before taxiing and entering the queue for departure.

I think it was because they had to wait a little longer before entering the line at runway 34R. Not 100% sure though.

After this flight left the gate and taxing there is an empty terminal across. What is that? New terminal or plan to demolish???

New Terminal. In fact, I think it opened a few weeks ago.

I thought Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700 (N799SW) 💙❤️💛✈️ was no longer flying. Is it retired?

Yeah this was filmed back in October of last year before it was parked and sent to storage a few months later.

@@Lunadog99 I was also on (N739GB) a few years back and that aircraft is also retired. I believe half of the (N7xxSW) Registration Aircrafts are retired and the other are still flying. Some (N7xxSW) Registration Aircrafts were suspended for just a bit and then resumed flying again. I believe it was because of Covid-19.

@@sebastienroland349 Yeah it seems like most of the N7xxSW planes are very old 737-700s so I’m not surprised they’re the first to get retired especially now since Southwest is receiving MAX 8s again.

@@Lunadog99 Probably what’s old about those (N7xxSW) Aircrafts are the overhead controls like the 757s and 300s use to have and the bathrooms are also old. I know what it’s like inside the older 700s. I’ve been on (N732SW), (N769SW), (N739GB), (N728SW), and (N767SW).
