Glad you found my videos useful - great work on achieving an A*.
The goat
you're so right about cgp guide, they won't help much when learning the content but I find them so effective when revising and I love making flashcards using the! I have textbooks too but I never use them because they make no sense to me and i feel like they contain lot of unnecessary content as well
This video was quite useful and straight to the point. The editing and your overall confidence is getting progressively better aswell!
Thank you so much for this once again. Honestly so grateful
Thank you so much for these videos! I was trying to self-study using the AQA textbook, but it was so horribly written and all these resources have been so much better. All the best with your studies at Cambridge!
bro i needed this so badly. Thank you, lately I've not being doing as well as I wanted to in physics and I didn't understand where I was going wrong. Thanks alot for your advice and help.
This is me rn ngl
This was so useful!! Thank you
love these videos!
Only man giving me hope rn. Thanks Ray
Thank you for this it is so helpful
Thank you so much
Thanks for these videos I just had my first test and I'm pretty sure I've got a u so this is very helpful!
Thankfully I didn't get a u I got 56%
I love this
hello, around how long do you take to master a topic? great video by the way, thankss!
I want to create a retrospective revision timetable on Notion but I have no clue how to make and edit one, once I've got the app. Could you ease make a quick tutorial or something explaining how to do that.
Thanks.
A level physics online is so great
The only thing is that videos for A2 content requires one to pay and I don't have a viable online payment method
Yeh, it was a little annoying. I didn’t really pay for his A2 videos just because I found myself understanding enough from the other resources but if I hadn’t then I would have likely paid
Thanks so much for this Ray!! Super useful ~ do you have a vid on how to make Anki Flashcards more concise (per module)? thank you :))
2-3 months for past papers💀. i hardly have around 1 month for past papers but i regularly do topicals. managed to get 3As for Aslevel, now hoping for the A*.
hello i wanna recommendation from you both guys that... still my (As physic and bio) course isn't totally complete but i am thinking to give As paper in this (may/ June) series rather then to give all As and A combine paper because i think that it will be stressful for me so what do u think is it possible to practice along with p3 within a 2 month plz reply .
@@huh4419 I don't know what the fuck you are saying?
How did it go?
@@zfyyree-07 welp didnt get no A*s but got 2As and 1B
I wanna know how many hrs you study in total per day ?or week when you was doing a level
Hi Ray. I’m in Year 11, and doing triple science. When revising content for sciences, and what I make my anki flashcards from, should I use the cgp guide, the subject textbook, that has all the content too from school, or other resources like BBC Bitesize?
Thanks.
I would suggest to just use the resource that helps you understand it best, and you don’t have to stick to one resource. I think the main thing is making sure the content is from your exam board, so you only learn things you need to know
I used mygcsescience which really helped. They guarantee a 8/9 of you finish all the content so there's a money back guarantee as well. Personally that was the only resource I used as they have templates that I filled in as well but my friends said free science lessons is really good to learn. I bought his revision guide as well - which I didn't end up using as I used the website but it was really good as it was like an easy made revision guide.
Could you tell me any resources for a level biology
Please advise do you get a scholarship at Cambridge
what about student books for learning the content?
Hello, I found out whenever I answer questions that I have never seen before, I tend to mess up on those questions and after looking at the mark scheme, I understand the question and how to do it. How can I try to understand the question the first time? Do you have any advice? I have been doing lots of past paper questions but keep messing up the first time.
Same,just improve maths skill
nice!
I just wanna ask what is the physics aqa grade boundaries for aqa ?(for A*)
Ah, so you can find the grade boundaries from previous years on their website (there should be a page to see the grate boundaries from all previous years).
If i got A* in physics, further maths, maths, and economics i will meet you in Cambridge
did you?
did you??
what happened
Any advice for a Year 11?
Hi! I haven't done O Level Physics but I'm fairly good at ol maths, so do you think I'll be able to take A level Physics with no prior knowledge on the subject? Thank you :)
I think it's possible! Most of physics is logical like math anyways :)
nice
Could you please share the mistake keeping file please, if possible?
Great video, trying to follow as I am re sitting A level physics ( got a B but really want an A*)
Thank you :))
Hi, you can find it alongside all my notes and flashcards here: github.com/theramjad/a-level-resources/tree/main/Notes%20%26%20Flashcards The files should be titled "Advice and Extra Content"
@@RAmjad Thank you
Lowkey I took your advice went from Ds to A* top of my class 🎉🎉
r u in y12?? if so, so am i and im still stuck at D's 😭 what did u acc do. and do u do A-level math??
What’s the best channel to learn content from?
anyone having pdf of CGP revision guide kindly send me
Got Practical notes?
both my physics teachers are trash af and because of them two most of the students and me haven't learned anything and now it kind of too late for them to teach us properly
hey, physbot isn't working? Does anyone know what happened?
their domain name registration expired on the 10th of July 2022 and their registration has been suspended (because they haven't renewed it), meaning that the domain name no longer resolves into the IP address of their web server.
getting some heavy Ali Abdaal vibes
i suck at physics no idea what possesed me to take it, but i REALLY suck at the maths ESPECIALLY the angles. which is great considering a level physics is just a level maths in a flimsy disguise. i also dont do a level math. if anyone out there is seeing this comment please give tips and resources on how to lockdown on the mathsy half of physics ❤❤
The Physbot site is not working
Hi, I’m currently a physical natural sciences offer holder (!) like you were too I guess! I am currently very much on the A/A* boundary when I do past papers (getting 3 marks off of an A* etc) however I have two weeks till my first physics a level and I am required to get an A* for physics which is a massive source of stress at the moment. Would you have any specific advice for me in this situation?
Hi! The most useful thing I found to stop me from teetering on the boundary was improving my exam technique and creating the Advice and Extra Content file. I knew most of the content by that point and how to answer most of the questions but kept messing up because sometimes I jumped straight into a question without much thought or generally ran out of time for thinking about the harder questions. Improving your exam technique, I think, makes a real different at this point
How did you do? Please tell me you got an A*
@@Armaan_nagra accidentally responded initially with my personal account like an idiot😐 but I’m pleased to tell you that I just completed my first term at Cambridge!
@@feralfishfinger81225 Congrats mate! How was your first term?
Can you please share your anki flashcards??? Please
Hi. I have a video where I share the link to download them. It’s one of the earliest video I posted titled something like “Sharing my notes and flashcards”
@@RAmjad Thank you so much!!!! You r sooo help!
im doing physics, year 12. so far, im getting E's because of no motivation to revise. lets say i say i actually committed and tried to get better from now, is it possible to reach an A*? also how long should i revise for a day
For sure! It's still possible - you have almost a year and a half. Also, don't worry too much about how long to be revising for - I made a series on studying effectively (you can check my playlists) and this is one of the first questions that I address.
@@RAmjad thank you
@I S T O R I A I got a B for the mocks back in March, these tests were fine for physics except for paper 1, I could get an A if grade boundaries were nice enough but im expecting another B to be honest, which is fine because my course is AAB, inshallah I will obtain those in August
@I S T O R I A nope
HOW WAS IT@@orangut4ng
Please is the specification same as the scheme of work ?
The scheme of work is based on the specification. It is more guidance for teachers of how to plan lessons and teach the suvject
@@RAmjad thank you so much
I just started year 12 alevel physics any advice you can give me, I will truly appreciate it.
I’m doing it right now, ask your teacher for complete notes on all topics in year 12 (or perhaps the whole of sixth form) and copy the notes into your folder alongside your current notes. I also make myself mini exams which help me learn the material.
I’ve only got 3 months 😭😭 feels like it’s too late 😓😮💨
Dont give up! Better to try now then to regret doing nothing when it comes!
@@pleasedontlookforme8036 few days lefts 💔
Hello ray again 😀!.
Im kinda stuck with finding past papers and topic questions, on singular topics, like C1.1 cellular biology. There isn't much stuff on the internet. I'm in year 9, but still GCSE stuff. So, I was wondering if you knew any websites (paid or free) where I can get past papers for any sciences, preferebely OCR. Thanks alot! Have a great day.
