All thanks to a random meeting I ended up in Namibia! At the MaxlRIDE festival (august) in Germany I met Dirkie and Ulf from Untamed Africa Tours and we started talking. Turns out Dirkie could use a photographer to document the adventure tours for a fresh fleet of Ténéré 700's coming in soon. And two months later I'm here. CRAZY! Besides doing my job, I've tried my best to create a series for TH-cam, so join me on my most special trip so far in this Namibia series and get to know more about it's diverse landscapes, culture, people and incredible roads.

Namibia is a top place to visit! Great photos, drone shots and footage at 8:08 to 13:46, but the other camera (on your bike or helmet) footage is warping the image too much that it hurt my eyes to watch
What camera are you using?
Dirkie is the best, in fact he is one of the top Motorcycle athletes this country has seen. Winning National titles in South Africa and doing astoundingly well in America until one unfortunate crash. he does what he loves, in a Country that is an Adventure Rider's dream. His venture is definitely one of the TOP Adventure Tour outfits in the country. Proud to call him my friend!
From what I’ve seen in those two weeks he breathes passion and knowledge for his own country. He told me about the racing which is amazing! You’re lucky to have a friend like him for sure 🙌🏼

You should haha! I must admit my flight was incredibly relaxed, having the longest flight overnight and not worrying about my checked luggage with recollecting and checking in between all of it. And once you’re in Namibia you already forgotten that you’ve been in a plane 😎✋🏼

Holy Sh1t, how often do you pinch yourself, that you have the opportunity to travel too some amazing places. Hard work, and being in the right place at the right time definitely pays off. Just had a look at the tour NOT happy this year I'm fully booked up already. But looks an awesome trip and at a bargain price. Will definitely be looking at it for next year. This was probably one of the most bizarre trips in my life with an even more bizarre start. Too bad that you can't make it! If it's successful, which we of course hope, we are going to do it annually and maybe on more locations! So stay tuned and thanks very much for the kind words 👏

Thanks for the kind words, it often goes unnoticed like with many other creatives how much work goes on behind the scenes. I still very much would like to break that down one day and make a TH-cam video about how I do everything, but I might need some extra hands with that haha
@@LNRmoto the editing was the one part of photography I never realy liked doing, taking the photos made my Hart smile, but sitting in front of a computer editing just made my head ache..... 😂

Awesome video! Wow! Amazing place for sure. What were the temperatures during the day and night. I bet you could see a lot of stars at night? The food looked amazing. Best!
Every motorcycle rider should def put Namibia on the list! So much to see and experience. We had around 10-20º at night (depending on coast of inland) and I think 30-40º during the day.

Having ridden them both now (the T7 longer than an hour) I must say it really surprised me in the best way possible! Enough power, nice torque and very playful and suitable for offroading as well as comfort on tarmac

Namibia is a very beautiful and diverse country! Deserts, mountains, beaches and lots of wildlife! I was there for a few weeks in 2004. Don't forget Fish River Canyon and the beautiful dunes. One great (motorcycle) adventure! Enjoy it.
Couldn't agree more! We did both North and South, you'll see the Fish River Canyon passing by in some episodes from now. Absolutely breathtaking country and can't wait to go back!
