@@DazeyChaineMusic Not a single person I know would know this album even if if they know the glow pt2, not that it’s super hidden or anything but it’s very explicit to like music circles

this album honestly was life-changing in a way for me, i remember putting it off because of how intimidating The Sun was with the dragged out drums but I listened through it one day in class and i felt like i was dissolving into the music, the outpouring emotions of this album truly resonated with me, it was also very ahead of its time in so many aspects, it's kinda disappointing how under-appreciated it is

i agree, but i dont think its underappreciated at all, it is very widely praised by people who are into indie music

The most beautiful and fulfilling "behind the scenes" I have ever heard, what a gift.

I just realized that Calvin Johnson is THE Calvin Johnson of Beat Happening fame. Consider my world view blown to think that there was a Beat Happening and Microphones crossover

For an album as epic and enormous as Mount Eerie, it’s very under appreciated. It’s definitely overshadowed by the great Glow Pt. 2, which is a shame because Mount Eerie is just as compelling of an album, and personally, I think it’s a more cohesive and ambitious album than the Glow Pt 2. Mount Eerie is my favorite Phil Elverum album
