Hullo LG, COTYLEDON, Truly Ornamental. The family that stays together, Is the prayer of the Mother. Give them plenty of light, Their colours emerge as a pretty sight. Awesome video Frank.
Hello Frank ! Very true indeed , I did my propagation of my C. Pendens a month ago ,, they are thriving and I left the mother on her ice cream basket . You are right, haven’t seen any bugs from this plants ,,, that’s why I love love them. Awesome video,, very clear and very impressive. Thank you always dear 💕
That's pretty awesome to know that they're pretty pest resistant. Melee bugs have never been like a huge issue for me because I know how to get rid of them now but spider mites are my absolute I hate them more than anything in the world. It seems like the spider mites prefer house plants more than succulents so that's a great thing
yes they don’t like too much watering as their leaves are plump meaning they can store more water but need to main very slight moisture that’s were it gets confusing….I hope you get a new one soon ☺️
Informative video!!! I have a small one inside by my window, I've been afraid to take it out to my balcony cause of the heat but now idk be in the high 80s. What do you think? BTW, Only get morning sun 🌄
I would advice if it’s doing well and not stretching let it be in the same place 80 is still ok morning sun is perfect for them to get the colours is it’s stretching by chance? if not then let it stay there 😊🪴
Sir LG the pot that was vacated by Cotyledon Pendence why did you plant new echeverria 😮 is that alright? I have pot of ice green but it died so when it was vacated I plant another succulent however I sprinkle dithane on it would that kill any fungus? Will it protect my new planted succulents? When is it okey to use the old soil vacated by old succulents😅 thanks
So when you're saying not to disturb the mother plant and try to separate from the mother plant, do you mean that you should never try to remove the mother plant from its pot and keep just trying to trim it back maybe so to not disturb the mother plant at all? I mean I guess for repotting I could do my little trick of taking a bigger size up of a pot and making an indent with my current pot and just taking the whole root ball over to the new pot without disturbing. Do you think something like that would work? I'm not really to that point yet because I just got my new cotyledon pendens today but this is stuff I'd love to know for the future. Hopefully I have much success with this guy.today but this is stuff I'd love to know for the future. Hopefully I have much success with this guy.
oh wow wishing you all the luck ….yes usually trimming should be the first option and propagate mostly for a back up …..repotting usually is rare thing with succulents unless something really goes wrong Regarding not distributing the mother plant roots ….this is just to be on the safer side …I usually don’t move these especially such hanging varieties ..I had a bad experience after repotting the healthy mother plant it just went into a mess and died ….I regret it to this day …..probably it went into shock post repotting and never recovered …it was Dasyphyllum Minor succulent… so to be on safer side it’s better to trim and keep back up ready lol however pendens are more hardy ….and should be ok to repot when it’s time
haha thank you I make my own mix …I use aquarium sand and regular garden soil ….but I keep experimenting so far this soil has worked out very well for me th-cam.com/video/HYqGDfHhD2g/w-d-xo.html
What are your thoughts on the mirinae and Mendozae? I think they're graptopedalum or grape deveria I can't remember but I want to say graptopedalum. How would you suggest I water these guys? I live in upstate New York and it is winter right now but they seem to dry out fairly quickly but I want to make sure that I'm not going too long in between without watering.
I have a video on it … check and do let me know if you have any doubts …regarding watering check for the lower leaves it will tell you if it needs water if they are all plump wait … th-cam.com/video/4HO7OeKweeM/w-d-xo.html

Do they require a cold or dry rest to initiate blooming? If so, when should it start and for how long? Thanks
Your cuttings are beautiful 😍

Is that one pendant flowering? There is some sort of small blue-ish coloration on it.
Hahah no that’s my green shade cloth strings tangled it’s difficult to remove so left it as it is 😃

I bought one that was etiolated like that half with no light. How can I restore it? Cut it down?
yes stem cutting best option …it will also make the remaining part left in pot bushy 😊🪴 wishing you all the best 😊🪴
Hi! The leaves on my plant keep falling off, even when I move it slightly. Do you know what I am doing wrong?
is it the same plant cotyledons or some other variety of succulent?
if possible do dm the pic in Instagram…as there could be several factors leading to this …lack of light ,overwatering, dry stem , root issue etc
Okay I will dm! Thank you
I need this plant where can I get in india
you can check with this seller

Damn, I have 2 already and both are shriveled up on me. I'm assuming I'm not watering them enough.
yes they will show the signs quick ….just go slow …after watering they will pretty much plump up in 24-48 hours ☺️🪴wishing you all the best
What is your soil mix? I see no perlite and your soil looks nice and airy. I'm so curious the mix 😊
haha thank you I make my own mix …I use aquarium sand and regular garden soil ….but I keep experimenting so far this soil has worked out very well for me
