I like my DG1, I think I will love the enhanced CF1. My DG1 is apart of my minuteman kit, I think I will replace it with the CF1. Great video with good info on pack.
Great review. I've been a big fan of Cross Fire as well starting with a DG-3, then picking up a DG-1. I use them for backpacking, hiking and snowboarding more than tactical purposes. There are some great features on the CF-1. It looks like the may have taken some design elements from the AWS assault pack with is great. I wish the AWS pack was made out of a little more heavy duty material, had some wider shoulder straps and hip belt. What's your thoughts on removing the slit pocket off behind the side pouch on the DG-1? I find it useful for a folding saw or to hold a hatchet, etc. Any chance the yoke harness on the CF-1 can adapt to a DG-1? Keep the awesome videos coming. -Kyle
@misfitlife3091 it's on sale now. They marked it down the week after I bought mine lol. I'm taking it on an overnighter tomorrow. It seems to be awesome.
Is it possible to remove the straps and attach it to a DZ rig? I've been looking for some kind of assault pack or pouch to carry a hydration bladder and a few little things, but I'd want to attach it to the DZ rig so i don't have to double up on shoulder straps
You might be able to rig something up, but I personally strongly advise against it. As you removed weight from the front, such as using mags, it will likely make the rig want to be pulled down in the rear. Not to mention, it's a bad idea to have the pack tied to your rig so that in order to get into it you have to take the whole thing off.
In one of his older videos he talked about his favorite boonie hat. Does anyone know what brand he was referring to? Need some head cover in this heat.

Well, you could go back and search his older videos, or, you could just ask him directly.
