There is no historian that will put their reputation on the line backing up the Old Testament as historical. There are a multitude of Christian apologists who do but no world-class actual historian of the Ancient Near East. Jericho existed, but not as is described in the Bible. There is no Jewish historian who is respected internationally, eho proclaims the Old Testament as historical because everything they've found and keep finding holds no correlation with the Bible. There is no evidence of the Exodus, no evidence of Jews specifically being in Ancient Egypt, no evidence for enslavement of the children of Israel. There is evidence for semitic people in Egypt, but not Jews. Actual history disproves the Bible at almost every opportunity and instance.

As muslims we Are Required To believe that there were previous books handed down, not physical but revelation that was probably written down afterwards but those books are non existent and that is not only from Islamic sources but what we have now as the taurat and bible are not what was because it has been changed. Scholars prove that to be. The texts have been changed and lost in history. It says it in the same books. That alone proves that what was, is no longer. Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me." Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful." [Quran. 28.16]. ■Then: "So he became afraid, looking about in the city (waiting as to what will be the result of his crime of killing) ..." [Quran.28.18]. ■The next day, Moosa found that man fighting another enemy. He asked Moosa to help him again, and Moosa became angry with him. The man thought that he was going to kill him, so he said to him: "‘... Is it your intention to kill me as you killed a man yesterday? ...”" [Quran.28.19]. ■That enemy told the people of Pharaoh about that, and they started to look for him in order to kill him. A righteous man came and told Moosa what the people were plotting against him. He advised him to leave Egypt: "So he escaped from there, looking about in a state of fear. He said: ‘My Lord! Save me from the people who are Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers)!’" [Quran.28.21]. ((1st))

When that time was over, Moosa travelled with his family towards Egypt. When he came to At-Toor (Mount Sinai), Allah wanted to single him out, to honour him with Prophethood and to speak with him. Moosa lost his way, then he saw a fire: "When he saw a fire, he said to his family: ‘Wait! Verily, I have seen a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire.’ And when he came to it (the fire), he was called by name: ‘O Moosa (Moses)! Verily, I am your Lord! So take off your shoes; you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. And I have chosen you. So listen to that which will be revealed (to you). Verily, I am Allah! Laa ilaaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As‑Salaah (Iqaamat‑as‑Salaah) for My remembrance. Verily, the Hour is coming and I am almost hiding it that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives." [Quran.20.10-15]. ■Then Allah showed him some of the miracles. He commanded him to throw his stick on the ground, and it turned into a snake; then to put his hand into his garment, and it came out white. Then He told him to go with these two miracles to Pharaoh, so that he might accept admonition or fear Allah, for he had transgressed all bounds in oppression and corruption. And He sent with Moosa his brother Haaroon. Allah Says: "‘Go, both of you, to Fir‘awn (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear (Allah).’ They said: ‘Our Lord! Verily, we fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us).’ He (Allah) said: ‘Fear not, verily, I am with you both, hearing and seeing. So go you both to him, and say: “Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance!”’" [Quran.20.43-47]. ■Moosa and Haaroon went to Pharaoh and conveyed the message to him. Pharaoh asked Moosa: "Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) said: ‘And what is the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists)?’ Moosa (Moses) said: ‘The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty’" [Quran.26.23-24]. ■Then Pharaoh asked Moosa for a sign to prove that he was speaking the truth: "[Fir‘awn (Pharaoh)] said: ‘If you have come with a sign, show it forth, if you are one of those who tell the truth.’ Then [Moosa (Moses)] threw his stick and behold! it was a serpent, manifest! And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white (with radiance) for the beholders." [Quran.7.106-108]. ■When Pharaoh and his people saw that, they accused Moosa of sorcery. They brought the sorcerers together and offered them a great reward. Then they gathered the people together on a feast day. The sorcerers threw down their sticks and ropes: "... So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and they displayed a great magic." [Quran.7.116]. ■Then Allah supported Moosa against the sorcerers and exposed the falsehood of their plots. Then the sorcerers believed in the Lord of the Worlds: "And We revealed to Moosa (Moses) (saying): ‘Throw your stick,’ and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehood which they showed. Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect. So they were defeated there and returned disgraced. And the sorcerers fell down prostrate. They said: ‘We believe in the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). The Lord of Moosa (Moses) and Haaroon (Aaron).’" [Quran.7.117-122]. ■When the sorcerers believed in Allah, Pharaoh cut off their hands and feet on opposite sides and crucified them. But they bore that with patience and paid no heed to his threats, until they met Allah as Muslims. Then the chiefs indicated that the people of Moosa should be killed, lest they spread corruption in the land. So they killed their sons, and let their women live. Moosa urged the Children of Israel to have patience. Then Pharaoh could no longer bear to see Moosa , so he decided to kill him: "Fir’awn (Pharaoh) said: ‘Leave me to kill Moosa (Moses), and let him call his Lord (to stop me from killing him)! I fear that he may change your religion, or that he may cause mischief to appear in the land!’" [Quran.40.26]. ■Whilst they were thinking of killing Moosa, chivalry caused a believing man from among the family of Pharaoh, who was concealing his faith, to defend Moosa. He said: "... "Would you kill a man because he says: My Lord is Allah, and he has come to you with clear signs (proofs) from your Lord? And if he is a liar, upon him will be (the sin of) his lie; but if he is telling the truth, then some of that (calamity) wherewith he threatens you will befall on you." ..." [Quran.40.28]. This man continued to advise Pharaoh and his people, but they did not respond to him: "... Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) said: ‘I show you only that which I see (correct), and I guide you only to the path of right policy!’" [Quran.40.29]. ((2nd))
@JesusChrist_myLordmySavior. ■Moosa continued to call Pharaoh and his people, preaching in a good manner, but it only made them more arrogant in the land and caused them to oppress and persecute the believers even more. So Moosa prayed against them, and Allah punished them with drought, famine, and failure of the harvest, that they might receive admonition. But they did not submit, rather they persisted in their evil deeds and transgression. So Allah punished them with other kinds of afflictions, so that they might return to their senses: "They said [to Moosa (Moses)]: ‘Whatever Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) you may bring to us, to work therewith your sorcery on us, we shall never believe in you.’ So We sent on them: the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood (as a succession of) manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were Mujrimoon (criminals, polytheists and sinners).’" [Quran.7.132-133]. ■When the transgression of Pharaoh intensified, there came the divine command to seek a way out. Allah commanded Moosa to leave Egypt with the Children of Israel, in secret. When Pharaoh found out, he gathered a great army to catch up with Moosa and his people before they reached Palestine. Pharaoh and his troops set out, leaving behind them gardens and wealth. They caught up with Moosa and his people at sunrise, on the shores of the sea. Allah saved Moosa and his people, and drowned Pharaoh and his troops, as Allah Says: "And We revealed to Moosa (Moses), saying: ‘Depart by night with My slaves, verily, you will be pursued.’ Then Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. (Saying): ‘Verily, these indeed are but a small band. And verily, they have done what has enraged us. But we are a host all assembled, amply forewarned.’ So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh’s people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. So they pursued them at sunrise. And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Moosa (Moses) said: ‘We are sure to be overtaken.’ [Moosa (Moses)] said: ‘Nay, verily, with me is my Lord. He will guide me.’ Then We revealed to Moosa (Moses) (saying): ‘Strike the sea with your stick.’ And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like a huge mountain. Then We brought near the others [Fir‘awn’s (Pharaoh’s) party] to that place. And We saved Moosa (Moses) and all those with him. Then We drowned the others. Verily, in this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. And verily, your Lord, He is truly, the All‑Mighty, the Most Merciful." [Quran.26.52-68]. ■Thus Pharaoh and his troops were destroyed. When he was drowning, he believed, but that was of no benefit to him: "And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) with his hosts followed them in oppression and enmity, till when drowning overtook him, he said: "I believe that none has the right to be worshipped but He (Allah) in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims (those who submit to Allah’s Will)." This did not benefit him since he announced his testimony when he knew undoubtedly that he is going to be drowned and die. At the very last moment Allah does not accept repentance. In this concern Allah Says: "And of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil deeds until death faces one of them and he says: "Now I repent;" nor of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful torment." [Quran. 4.18]. So, when Fir'awn announced his testimony Allah Scolded him and refused his belief after his announcement. Allah Says: "Now (you believe) while you refused to believe before and you were one of the Mufsidun (evil-doers, the corrupters)." [Quran.10.91]. ■Allah The Almighty Says: "But [Fir‘awn (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed. Then he turned his back, striving (against Allah). Then he gathered (his people) and cried aloud, Saying: "I am your lord, most high." So Allah, seized him with punishment for his last [1] and first [2] transgression." [Quran 79.21-25]. [1] Last i.e. his saying: "I am your lord, most high" [Quran.79.24]. [2] First i.e. his saying, "O chiefs! I know not that you have a god other than I" [Quran 28.38]. ■I have only quoted some verses (Ayats) to you, but there are many others. "Jesus and Prophet Isa are totally different persons": ■The Angel Jibril alayhi as-salaam (Gabriel peace be upon him) gave Maryam radi Allahu anha (Mary may Allah be pleased with her) the news of the birth of Eesa alayhi as-salaam (Jesus peace be upon him): ●The Bible says: "In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus." [Lk.1.26-31]. ●Allah Says: "And mention in the Book (the Qur’an, O Muhammad the story of) Maryam (Mary), when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent to her Our Ruh [angel Jibril (Gabriel)], and he appeared before her in the form of a man in all respects. She said: "Verily! I seek refuge with the Most Gracious (Allah) from you, if you do fear Allah." (The angel) said: "I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."" Mark 16:16 says: 16Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. So what it is, are we saved when we’re baptised or are we saved because of Jesus death?
Which part that Islam had corrupted, possibly Islam corrected it. The core message that God is one, the stories of prophets Quran retained it except the juicy stories of prophets, Quran did not mention it. E.g story of prophet Aaron creating a golden calf and encouraging the Jews to worship the golden calf while Moses was away. It Quran, it didn't mention the prophet Aaron committed it but Samiri. Now think logically whether that prophet Aaron chosen by God can commit the biggest sin by worshipping another deity? Think!

There is no historian that will put their reputation on the line backing up the Old Testament as historical. There are a multitude of Christian apologists who do but no world-class actual historian of the Ancient Near East.
Jericho existed, but not as is described in the Bible.
There is no Jewish historian who is respected internationally, eho proclaims the Old Testament as historical because everything they've found and keep finding holds no correlation with the Bible.
There is no evidence of the Exodus, no evidence of Jews specifically being in Ancient Egypt, no evidence for enslavement of the children of Israel. There is evidence for semitic people in Egypt, but not Jews.
Actual history disproves the Bible at almost every opportunity and instance.

I like listening to Graham Norton because he puts forward interesting theories, but I know that he's not a historian nor an archaeologist, so I would never use them as fact.
The same is true with people who claim the Israelites were in Ancient Egypt, that they built the cities of Pithom and Rameses, that they built the pyramids through slave labour, or that there was an actual Exodus.
There are no respected actual historians of the Ancient Near East who are ready to put their names on the 'fact' of Exodus, Israelites building the 2 cities, Israelites building pyramids, etc. And those that have done so have been ridiculed by their peers because they bring in belief into history not facts.

1. I didn't say I didn't care for anything. I said that I didn't care what the Quran said historically because the Quran is not a history book. I can separate my belief and science quite well.
3. The Ibscha relief shows semitic TRADERS, not slaves entering Egypt. Some have postulated that it shows the start of the Hyksos, a semitic people, in Egypt. The Hyksos RULED parts of Egypt, they were never enslaved and were finally thrown out.
3. The Famine Stela was carved during the Ptolemaic Kingdom telling of a story from some 2500 years before. Historians rarely take anything serious that's been written down a century after the fact and never a story of an event that presumably happened two and a half millennium before. That has nothing to do with Israelites.

So it is evident that Prophet Isa is now in “Heavens”, whereas Lord Jesus Christ is in “Heaven”, ie. both are existing in different locations. 6. There are Unitarian Christians and Trinitarian Christians each one of them follow based on two theological concepts. Christians should follow only Bible, not Theological concept. The word "Trinity" is nowhere mentioned in the Bible. But, Surah An Nisa 4:171 says to desist "Trinity", which is based on theological concept followed by Trinitarians.
The same question can be reply back to you Muslims, what evidence have a got to prove Moses existence without using our Bible.

■Allah sent revelation to Moosa (alayhi as-salaam "Moses peace be upon him") and sent him to the Children of Israel to call them to worship Allah alone, as He Says: "And indeed We sent Moosa (Moses) with Our Ayaat (signs, proofs, and evidences) (saying): "Bring out your people from darkness into light, and remind them of the annals of Allah ..." [Quran.14.5].
■And Allah sent Haaroon (alayhi as-salaam "Aaron peace be upon him") the brother of Moosa as a support to Moosa when He wanted to send him to Pharaoh (Fir‘awn), to call him to worship Allah. This was in response to the request of Moosa: "And We granted him his brother Haaroon (Aaron), (also) a Prophet, out of Our Mercy." [Quran.19.53].
■At that time, the Children of Israel were in Egypt, under the rule of Pharaoh, who had enslaved and humiliated them. He used to let their women live but he killed their sons: "Verily, Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) exalted himself in the land and made its people sects, weakening (oppressing) a group (i.e. Children of Israel) among them: killing their sons, and letting their females live. Verily, he was of the Mufsidoon (i.e. those who commit great sins and crimes, oppressors, tyrants." [Quran.28.4].
■Moosa was born in Egypt, and Allah willed that he should be brought up in the house of Pharaoh. So his mother put him in a box which she threw into the river, and it was picked up by the family of Pharaoh. His wife Aasiyah rejoiced over him and forbade them to kill him. When he grew up: "And when he attained his full strength, and was perfect (in manhood), We bestowed on him Hukm (Prophethood and right judgement of the affairs) and religious knowledge [of the religion of his forefathers i.e. Islamic Monotheism] ..." [Quran.28.14].
■One day a man from among the Children of Israel sought Moosa’s help against his enemy: "And he entered the city at a time of unawareness of its people: and he found there two men fighting, - one of his party (his religion - from the Children of Israel), and the other of his foes. The man of his (own) party asked him for help against his foe, so Moosa (Moses) struck him with his fist and (unintentionally) killed him. He said: "This is of Shaitan’s (Satan) doing: verily, he is a plain misleading enemy."" [Quran. 28:15].
■Moosa did not kill him (the Egyptian) deliberately; rather it was an error, and what motivated him to do that (strike the man) was support of one who had been wronged (the Israelite), because the Egyptians had enslaved the Children of Israel and were mistreating them. Moosa regretted that punch that killed a soul, and his regret prompted him to beseech his Lord and seek forgiveness for his sin.
■Then Moosa regretted it, and sought the forgiveness of his Lord, and He forgave him: "He said: "My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me." Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful." [Quran. 28.16].
■Then: "So he became afraid, looking about in the city (waiting as to what will be the result of his crime of killing) ..." [Quran.28.18].
■The next day, Moosa found that man fighting another enemy. He asked Moosa to help him again, and Moosa became angry with him. The man thought that he was going to kill him, so he said to him: "‘... Is it your intention to kill me as you killed a man yesterday? ...”" [Quran.28.19].
■That enemy told the people of Pharaoh about that, and they started to look for him in order to kill him. A righteous man came and told Moosa what the people were plotting against him. He advised him to leave Egypt: "So he escaped from there, looking about in a state of fear. He said: ‘My Lord! Save me from the people who are Zaalimoon (polytheists and wrongdoers)!’" [Quran.28.21]. Moosa lost his way, then he saw a fire: "When he saw a fire, he said to his family: ‘Wait! Verily, I am your Lord! So take off your shoes; you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. And I have chosen you. So listen to that which will be revealed (to you). Verily, I am Allah! Laa ilaaha illa Ana (none has the right to be worshipped but I), so worship Me, and perform As‑Salaah (Iqaamat‑as‑Salaah) for My remembrance. Verily, the Hour is coming and I am almost hiding it that every person may be rewarded for that which he strives." [Quran.20.10-15].
■Then Allah showed him some of the miracles. He commanded him to throw his stick on the ground, and it turned into a snake; then to put his hand into his garment, and it came out white. Then He told him to go with these two miracles to Pharaoh, so that he might accept admonition or fear Allah, for he had transgressed all bounds in oppression and corruption. And He sent with Moosa his brother Haaroon. Allah Says: "‘Go, both of you, to Fir‘awn (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear (Allah).’ They said: ‘Our Lord! Verily, we fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us).’ He (Allah) said: ‘Fear not, verily, I am with you both, hearing and seeing. So go you both to him, and say: “Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance!”’" [Quran.20.43-47].
■Moosa and Haaroon went to Pharaoh and conveyed the message to him. Pharaoh asked Moosa: "Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) said: ‘And what is the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists)?’ Moosa (Moses) said: ‘The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty’" [Quran.26.23-24].
■Then Pharaoh asked Moosa for a sign to prove that he was speaking the truth: "[Fir‘awn (Pharaoh)] said: ‘If you have come with a sign, show it forth, if you are one of those who tell the truth.’ Then [Moosa (Moses)] threw his stick and behold! it was a serpent, manifest! And he drew out his hand, and behold! it was white (with radiance) for the beholders." [Quran.7.106-108].
■When Pharaoh and his people saw that, they accused Moosa of sorcery. They brought the sorcerers together and offered them a great reward. Then they gathered the people together on a feast day. The sorcerers threw down their sticks and ropes: "... So when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people, and struck terror into them, and they displayed a great magic." [Quran.7.116].
■Then Allah supported Moosa against the sorcerers and exposed the falsehood of their plots. Then the sorcerers believed in the Lord of the Worlds: "And We revealed to Moosa (Moses) (saying): ‘Throw your stick,’ and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehood which they showed. Thus truth was confirmed, and all that they did was made of no effect. So they were defeated there and returned disgraced. And the sorcerers fell down prostrate. They said: ‘We believe in the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists). The Lord of Moosa (Moses) and Haaroon (Aaron).’" [Quran.7.117-122].
■When the sorcerers believed in Allah, Pharaoh cut off their hands and feet on opposite sides and crucified them. But they bore that with patience and paid no heed to his threats, until they met Allah as Muslims. Then the chiefs indicated that the people of Moosa should be killed, lest they spread corruption in the land. So they killed their sons, and let their women live. Moosa urged the Children of Israel to have patience. Then Pharaoh could no longer bear to see Moosa , so he decided to kill him: "Fir’awn (Pharaoh) said: ‘Leave me to kill Moosa (Moses), and let him call his Lord (to stop me from killing him)! I fear that he may change your religion, or that he may cause mischief to appear in the land!’" [Quran.40.26].
■Whilst they were thinking of killing Moosa, chivalry caused a believing man from among the family of Pharaoh, who was concealing his faith, to defend Moosa. He said: "... "Would you kill a man because he says: My Lord is Allah, and he has come to you with clear signs (proofs) from your Lord? And if he is a liar, upon him will be (the sin of) his lie; but if he is telling the truth, then some of that (calamity) wherewith he threatens you will befall on you." ..." [Quran.40.28]. This man continued to advise Pharaoh and his people, but they did not respond to him: "... Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) said: ‘I show you only that which I see (correct), and I guide you only to the path of right policy!’" [Quran.40.29]. ((2nd))

■Moosa continued to call Pharaoh and his people, preaching in a good manner, but it only made them more arrogant in the land and caused them to oppress and persecute the believers even more. So Moosa prayed against them, and Allah punished them with drought, famine, and failure of the harvest, that they might receive admonition. But they did not submit, rather they persisted in their evil deeds and transgression. So Allah punished them with other kinds of afflictions, so that they might return to their senses: "They said [to Moosa (Moses)]: ‘Whatever Ayaat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) you may bring to us, to work therewith your sorcery on us, we shall never believe in you.’ So We sent on them: the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood (as a succession of) manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were Mujrimoon (criminals, polytheists and sinners).’" [Quran.7.132-133].
■When the transgression of Pharaoh intensified, there came the divine command to seek a way out. Allah commanded Moosa to leave Egypt with the Children of Israel, in secret. When Pharaoh found out, he gathered a great army to catch up with Moosa and his people before they reached Palestine. Pharaoh and his troops set out, leaving behind them gardens and wealth. They caught up with Moosa and his people at sunrise, on the shores of the sea. Allah saved Moosa and his people, and drowned Pharaoh and his troops, as Allah Says: "And We revealed to Moosa (Moses), saying: ‘Depart by night with My slaves, verily, you will be pursued.’ Then Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities. (Saying): ‘Verily, these indeed are but a small band. And verily, they have done what has enraged us. But we are a host all assembled, amply forewarned.’ So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh’s people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. So they pursued them at sunrise. And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Moosa (Moses) said: ‘We are sure to be overtaken.’ [Moosa (Moses)] said: ‘Nay, verily, with me is my Lord. He will guide me.’ Then We revealed to Moosa (Moses) (saying): ‘Strike the sea with your stick.’ And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like a huge mountain. Then We brought near the others [Fir‘awn’s (Pharaoh’s) party] to that place. And We saved Moosa (Moses) and all those with him. Then We drowned the others. Verily, in this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. And verily, your Lord, He is truly, the All‑Mighty, the Most Merciful." [Quran.26.52-68].
■Thus Pharaoh and his troops were destroyed. When he was drowning, he believed, but that was of no benefit to him: "And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Fir‘awn (Pharaoh) with his hosts followed them in oppression and enmity, till when drowning overtook him, he said: "I believe that none has the right to be worshipped but He (Allah) in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims (those who submit to Allah’s Will)." This did not benefit him since he announced his testimony when he knew undoubtedly that he is going to be drowned and die. At the very last moment Allah does not accept repentance. In this concern Allah Says: "And of no effect is the repentance of those who continue to do evil deeds until death faces one of them and he says: "Now I repent;" nor of those who die while they are disbelievers. For them We have prepared a painful torment." [Quran. 4.18]. So, when Fir'awn announced his testimony Allah Scolded him and refused his belief after his announcement.
