    I owned a oneblade, but the replacement heads were too expensive, and after seeing your comparison video i bought a durablade and i am very happy with it. I use it only to trim my beard cheekline and neckline, and sometimes for head shaving. Does the job, but it sometimes pinches the skin on my neck. Great video, greetings from Slovakia 🇸🇰 😊

    Good Practical review of this, Tony.
    You can’t change the blade out like you can with the One Blade?
    I only shave three times a weeks. I JUST changed out my One Blade blade after a year.
    And it was a comfortable one year of beard trims and some actual quick shave areas, like my neck and small areas in and around my beard.
    I actually used it once, very recently, to get rid of my head of hair and shave my head down.
    That worked out pretty well, though it took some time.
    Got a pretty close head shave at the end of that using the One Blade and using shave gel to finish off the job.
    That was when I needed to change the blade out on my One Blade
    I absolutely love my One Blade, too, Tony!

    I have one of these and I love it. You do have to oil it like a hair or beard trimmer. Oil not included. Does come with a little brush but I use a tooth brush it works better for cleaning it. Can be used with shave gel also. Can be cleaned in warm water. I never tried that but I would imagine getting a bit closer shave with it. Never cut myself with it and no irritation. I chose this over 1 blade because 1blade requires changing blades every few months and they cost as much as the Durablade.

  • @cypherglitch

    Might be "poor mans oneblade", but its better. especially not needing to change the blade. The price of a product does not always equal its quality.
    Remington is like a hot knife through butter, when used on longer, thicker hair (1inch +), where the oneblade struggles, it only works really well with the short stubble.
    I shave my head using both when my hair was longer, and when using the durablade I was suprised how well it glided through my hair in 1 quick and easy motion. As for the Oneblade I had to go over the same spot a few times and use it really slowly. I have always had thick corse head stubble and found the durablade performed better of the 2 for the type of hair I have.

  • @cmorait
    @cmorait ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I am using oneblade from the first time that came to market and it was a life shaver as my skin is very sensitive and I had to avoid shaving with a traditional razor or the very very very expensive electric shavers that I owned. I think that oneblade is not far away from durablade as with my oneblade after shaving 6 to 10 times the performance of the blades degrades a lot. Durable had the same cutting performance after multiple dozens of shaves, and that makes it a better tool for me. I prefer constant cutting performance at the expense of a couple of minutes for of shave time. That's me, of course. I think that I have spent a lot of money of changing heads on oneblade and also the USB charging should be a standard in all shavers.
