Why did it take the commentary team, nearly 4 miles and 28 fences before they actually mentioned the winning horse. If this is ITV, all I can say is, bring back C4. One for Arthur won the Grand National, but wasn't mentioned in the whole race, until approaching the 2nd last........ what a shit commentary.

Definatley not the great race it used to be! Smaller fences, shorter distance. The do gooder animal lib got there way.Did not seem to bother al the old great racehorses. I think i could win it on a donkey now!
I was there... so cool... last time at Aintree was 1985 ... what a beautiful legendary place! Hope to go again someday
1985 was one of my favourite races. It seemed to have more romance in those days
