Nice hand winch ,well done. Two items of note is 1.drill a hole in the side wheel of the drum close to the drum and attach the cable on the outside of the wheel. 2 and an adjustable friction brake on one of the drum wheel so that an opposing force can be applied to the load to be let down so the handle doesn't rip you hand or face apart if the handle slips out of your hand .Don't rely on your reflexes to let go of the ratchet handle in time .
