oh and another hwasa song that has a mv is "nobody else" it's all in english and it's really touching (it's also really short tho so maybe react to it with another mv ajsjdj)
LMM is my favorite song of 2020. The message you got from shooting herself with an arrow is perfectly valid but I think it's more that we're the only one who can really harm ourselves. She gets attacked constantly and from all directions but she isn't harmed by those arrows, just the one she shoots. Notice the final scene when the arrows are raining down on her - she doesn't flinch, doesn't hide and doesn't react defensively or defiantly. She just stands there like a flower blooming despite the rain falling down, exposed and vulnerable but with eyes wide open, being herself and accepting what comes her way without fear or complaint. It's worth remembering that Hwa is a sino-Korean word for flower.
Hwasa is BY FAR the most hated idol for no reason. I believe the arrows represent hate... and her shooting at herself shows that Only she can hurt herself. I pray that she's able to stay in this mindset
@justice justice internationally she is...she gets tons of shit for her looks and fashion in Korea... I see it every day. I see it and I'm not from or in korea so how cant you?
@justice justice you being Korean has zero relevancy to this situation lmao idk why you keep pushing that like I'm supposed to care. She receives the MOST hate on social media. There's countries besides korea lmao and hwasa is famous and sadly disliked INTERNATIONALLY. an idol being disliked in korea vs hwasa sadly being disliked by the world... yeah
@justice justice I'm happy to hear she isn't hated in SK, but from what I keep hearing is that Hwa Sa, and Mamamoo, but mostly Hwa Sa gets a horrendous amount of hate on Twitter, and I have seen A LOT of it on IG. They just had to deal with it because of their 2020 Gayo Daejeon performance. Idiot antis starting hell (again) saying that they were culturally appropriating music they had remixed into the beginning of the "Aya" performance. (They used a piece of royalty free music). It was another blink just starting trouble again. It's sad, and honestly, unacceptable. I stay away from Twitter, to say it's toxic, is down playing it. One of the pages I follow, did a story about this newest hate happening, and flashed some of the unbelievable tweets posted about Hwa Sa, and my mouth hit the floor. One person saying she KILLED her 2 year old brother, the person, actually tweeted that Hwa Sa killed her 2 year old brother, as soon as I read that one, I closed it. I was so disgusted. So you would be amazed what hell is happening to Hwa Sa on twitter :( It honestly should be handled. I don't know why RBW doesn't do something. There is hate on IG too, antis, always jumping in on Hwa Sa posts and saying she is ugly, and reposting old BS, or trying to restart the she's culturally appropriating, when she isn't. It's getting so old. Bless her heart, she can't breathe, without someone saying she's culturally appropriating the air. What I keep seeing lately on IG is people who say they are MooMoos, but saying they are "ot3", and it's Hwa Sa they don't stan. The reason being, they STILL use the old mistakes she made and apologized YEARS ago, but they just heard about, but have done NO RESEARCH into it, they just hear something, and just go with it *smh. To the most resent one I read was a female saying she wasn't stanning Hwa Sa, because it's not right for her (this just makes me angry to be honest), It isn't right for Hwa Sa to be winning awards for "Maria", for "her to be taking away from Mamamoo that way!" Seriously??? Even when people in the comments were letting her know that ALL of the members have solos, ALL of the members win awards, and like Solar said in an interview that they are proud of Hwa Sa, that when she does well, it's a good thing for Mamamoo. The female didn't care. Which just means she doesn't like Hwa Sa, and this was just her excuse for not stanning her. So, is this enough evidence for you?
@justice justice The hate was tremendous people sending death threats, spreading false info and just hate and BS to mamamoo especially hwasa it was so bad to the point the fandom had to trend apologizetommm and create threads on twt debunking the fake information and accusations yet @ntis continue to shit on the girls let it be on twt, yt or ig you can always find hate against them Im glad that they are very loved in sk but internationally its a different story
@@roniver962 That was the past. She used to get a lot of hate, but that really changed when she grew out her ling beautiful hair and also starred on I Live Alone. Now she is Korea's It girl, and the world loves her. You're a little behind the times.
Your intuition was real close! The arrows represent the unending hate and criticism she’s had to live with as an idol, coming to terms with only she can hurt herself and eventually find peace and strength. Beautiful how much of her message can be felt from the song and mv.
"Be calm" is another song from Hwasa that has such a beautiful message and the vocals are incredible is a r&b song, if you want something more upbeat you got "María" and "Twit", also her album is so good, i recommend you to listen to it.
I'm so glad you reacted to LMM! all the arrows being shot at her didn't hurt as much as the one she shot herself, her thoughts on herself is what got her and it's so relatable.
Hwasa is a theater kid that's why her acting is great. This song is my anthem everytime if I feel down, the ending of LMM is giving me hope, at the end of the day you need to face those arrows
I recommend Absence by Moonbyul such a great song if you want to hear more of her vocals and I also recommend Jessi Drip Ft Jay Park to make things more hyped up :) btw love your channel so much
The lyrics of this songg .... omg that is why i stan kpop its soooo true everything this songg too makes me go wayss emotionally i cant tell my emotions
All the members of Mamamoo are associated with an object, a color, and an EP as a result of their 4 Seasons, 4 Colors project. Hwasa's object is a flower, her color is yellow, and her EP is Yellow Flower(Starry Night). The use of the word "flower" in the quote at the beginning is probably related to that. The other members objects, colors, and EPs(title track in parentheses) are: Solar = sun, blue, Blue;S(Wind Flower) Moonbyul = moon, red, Red Moon(Egotistic) Wheein = wind, white, White Wind(gogobebe)
This song is about her two sides one wanna run n one will not allow her to run. The all arrows r actually shooted by herself on the other side of hwasa that wanna run. The "whee" that u mentioned is actually winds sound that means her two personality is fighting
My take on the music video: The MV starts with Hwa Sa outside of a huge, beautiful house. I think the house symbolizes the luxury she got as she got more famous. Arrows begin attacking her, so she goes into her house in order to run away from them. If you can notice, when she's in the bedroom, there weren't any arrows at first, but they were slowly beginning to appear as well. It shows that even in the most peaceful places, the hate still follows her. Later on, we see her in the fields, and I think that this was the point where she was getting more confident in leaving her safe space and go out into the open even when she knows that she'd still get hate. Notice that the arrows try to attack her but they never truly impale her, which means that she's able to block them out, but the arrow that was able to impale her was the arrow that she shot herself. She was the one who truly hurt herself. Her mind was what hurt her. But even after getting impaled, she still went on, walking through the fields. Then at the end, she's back at the house, but this time, she's facing the arrows, and it looks like she doesn't have the intention to use that safe space to shield herself anymore because now she's a braver person. I'm not completely sure tho but that was what I thought when I first saw the mv
if you notice, when "others" shoot arrows at her it does not phase her, she dodges and misses. however when she shoots it herself , it directly hits her. this metaphorically suggests that it doesn't matter what people say about her, she survives and deals with all the hate and problems thrown at her by others. it's only her who can truly hurt herself, it's only of she listens to all these people and let if effect her mentally.
You were talking over the climax of the song. Did you hear those vocals? They were insane. You could hear all the emotion in her voice, even a little crack in her voice as its power was growing and then she hit that beautiful high note. You have to stop and appreciate those kinds of things. Anyway, nice reaction. I’m glad you enjoyed the video.
This is one of my fave solo songs of theirs, because of the message/meaning of the song. People will always hate, there will always be people like that in our lives. The more successful and talented you are, the more people who'll talk sht behind your back. But, at the end of the day, whether they'll affect us or not, it all comes down to us. To pay no mind, or torture ourselves with their words. At the end of the day, it'll be us against ourselves. If we love ourselves enough, will be invisible, like Hwasa at the end who stood in the midst of the raining arrows and never got hit/hurt. Because she has enough confidence, love and trust in herself that she'll come out unscathed. In this song, amongst all those arrows that rain down on us, the one that will kill us, is the arrow we ourselves fired, because we know ourselves most, should be. So we have to, for all reasons, not fire that arrow. Learn to love yourself, embrace your flaws, respect it and trust that you're amazing enough to shine on your own, like Hwasa's stage name, Shining Bright. Ahajdshjdbbs just love it so much.
I agree with you that her voice is unique that really standouts. Before, I am not really into kpop songs but after I hear her voice, damn!, I got addicted to her, to her musics and everything.
I hope you are joking because Hwasa actually said in one of her recent vlive that the whee part is just her harmonizing.... Not everything is about Wheesa and is lowkey undermining the fact she explained this song as a comfort to *herself* after all she went through.
Hwasa is one of the few idols (or artist) that i really respect, i don't know if it's just me but i can really find an idol like her in the new kpop❤️👑
This song is pure sensitivity and vulnerability. Never fails to make me tear up. Arrows represent the constant hate and criticism she receives from all the people who judges her eventhough she has been true and transparent to everyone(hence the arrows even in the comfort of her home), but she tries not to be affected by it and just avoid everything, hence none of the arrows hit her, except the one arrow that she shoot. That only when she began to criticize herself can only hurt her. And when she realizes that, she began to face the arrows (people's hate) head on and not escape it anymore while embracing her true self ans not let those people affect her. Hwasa, or should I say, Mamamoo, are true artists. Real talents.
I will never get over how hwasa isn't my bias or my bias wrecker or even my bias wrecker bias wrecker, but her music is my favorite. The things she wants to talk about, the way she says them, her voice, her inspiration, her musicality. she truly is going somewhere as an artist
So, I think we see that no matter how far Hwasa tries to hide, the hate always finds her. In her house, in her room (the place we look at as the safest and most personal to us), and then even some unidentifiable hole - even then, the arrows still find her. However, none of them strike her except the one she shoots herself. I love the imagery and story of this video u.u
You should react to her mini album "Maria". 5/6 songs there are self written and self composed. Hwasa always brings her real life experiences to her songs which makes her even more special. "Be Calm" is also another self made song which she wrote for her uncle after he passed away. Also her very first solo OST "Orbit" is incredible.
this song always makes me cry, the emotion she holds in her voice is insane , if you want more touching vocals you should check out wheeins goodbye , moonbyuls absence and solars recent ost blue bird
The title is even more personal and beautiful once it downs on you that the flower represents Hwasa. Even thou I have never met her or know her I’m proud of her and I respect her for showing her vulnerable side
What a beautiful song. I felt that the arrows was maybe the hate she so often recieves. She goes inside to avoid them but even in her home she cannot get away from the hate. Her home is no longer a safe haven. The arrow she shoots i feel is her fighting back but unfortunately even that brings her pain.
I will try to add some of my thoughts to the ones i read in the comments.. I think the same about the arrows, is the crticism she receives every day for everyone.. But there's a detail that i want to share.. The house may be a representation of "safe place", but even when she is inside, the arrows keeps comming like "there's no safe place".. Reviews of her work will be allways there, good or bad, you can't avoid it or run from it.. And when she fire that arrow, she is inside the house shooting to herself that is walking away, is like she has that fear of leaving that "safe place" even when she know that is no safe there.. Really love this MV and the way it makes me think.. It's like poetry and only talking about the video.. The lyrics and the music works so well in it.. I just love it..
I love her and other members so much too. This song was so meaningful. I cried a lot. I listen to this song every night. Actually, I listen to the ballad songs of Mamamoo every night. Their songs are just masterpieces. If you want to different feeling makes a reaction to DESTINY by them.
Really close with your guess! All of the arrows flying around her and missing represent the gate and cruelty she’s received throughout her career and only when she lets herself believe them and let them make her say bad things to herself does it actually hurt her (her shooting the arrow at herself). It’s a beautiful song and message and I love Hwasa so much.
I couldn't agree with you more my day gets stressful sometimes and just listening to anything mamamoo just knows me out good ears. I'd have to agree with you start a fighting amongst yourself I think it wouldn't hurt her fits Self Doubt not thinking you're good enough but yet she's fantastic yeah it's definitely a deep meaning behind it
The arrows were all the hate she got over all these years. The hate followed her wherever she went and whatever she did. But none of the arrows ever hit her. mamamoo has always has said that they would never let that hate affect them. It is only when Hwasa shot an arrow back that it hit her. It is only when she let the hate get to her mind did she get hurt.
oh man, i love and hate this song and video so much... it's so powerful and raw, you can feel the emotion in every word, even if you don't understand what she's saying. and it reveals a side of her that most of the world doesn't see, one many refuse to even admit exists, that of a pained individual showing just how vulnerable (and normal) she actually is. quite a few people, some fans included, insist hwasa is a 'badass' 24/7 or that, as an idol, she gets training to deal with criticism and hate comments (i seriously want to know where that one came from, esp considering south korea is only recently even realizing mental health is an actual thing) so they can feel free to say anything they want (esp if what they're saying is untrue, they'll claim this). and i hate it precisely because of some of what i just mentioned... the people constantly attacking her over everything and nothing, the fact that she's had to deal with this for years now, and she's written multiple songs about how this is affecting her, despite these people going 'she's tough, she's an idol, she can handle a few words', totally ignoring all those idols who are no longer with us precisely because of 'a few words'... the location the video was filmed at is a healing resort called kosmos on an island. and looking through the pictures on its site, the place was absolutely perfect for the video. so much gorgeous scenery your idea about the arrows is... an interesting perspective and is actually somewhat true about the one specific arrow. just like the pencils in "maria", the arrows here represent all the hate she constantly gets merely for existing and she pretty much ignores them, brushes them aside. at least on the surface. but the one arrow she fires, the one hateful thought she aims at herself, is the one that strikes home, the one time she thinks 'what if these comments are right' is the only thing that affects her
Subscribed. I love all your Mamamoo's reaction vids. I hope you'll react all Mamamoo's performance in Queendom. Trust me it will totally worth to watch.
I don't know if anyone has commented or not, but when Hwasa sings "hwi"\"whee", supposedly in theory, she is referring to Wheein. Whereas "hwi" refers to the wind element, which is represented by Wheein in the group. Hence the phrase "Do you wanna get somewhere", which would be directed at Wheein, since she is the biggest confidant of Hwasa. Again, its just a theory :)) I'm a new subscriber and I'm absolutely loving your videos and reactions, especially the mamamoo ones!!
Another song that I really recommend, is "I'm bad too", that's another Hwasa's song, and she sing it with DPR live. It's reaaaaally good!! :D U gonna love it
Saw a comment that said that the other arrows didnt hit her but then she shot herself with an arrow because she is her own greatest enemy if she doesnt believe in herself.
Hi i love your videos. I was wondering if you would like to react to a different genre. Its a old mexican group that consists of three boy and three girls it called RBD(Rebelde) they are based off a soap opera in mexico. They are crazy talented especially their live in Rio performance. But if not there is a Kpop girl group called ITZY they are amazing as well their choreography are crazy good!!!
Mamamoo English song cover next maybe? Solar : Fever (A MUST), Love is You (ft.piano playing) Wheein : Finesse, Say My Name. Hwasa : City of Stars, Watermelon Sugar. Moonbyul : sadly I think there's no eng song cover yet from her.
This is just my theory, and idk if other people have the same idea as me but, I think the arrows coming down at her in the beginning represent hate maybe from like other people but since the arrows are missing her I think that represents like she won’t let other peoples hate get to her. But when she shoots her own arrow, she actually hits herself which I think means that she will be the only one who allow her criticism to get to her but still in the end she triumphs over it all and doesn’t let mean and rude actions or words get to her. I really hope this makes since to people since it is only my theory and opinion.😁
I don't know if my understanding is correct but from what I understand the arrow are from the haters but not a single one is caught her. And when she chose to fight back she ended up being the one who get hurt instead. And at the last scene where tons of arrow is comming at her, she chose to just still face forward as if saying that haters can throw as much hate as they want but not a single of them will hurt her anymore.
Always love your reaction, I just binge watch your reaction literally every night 😂 saw someone already commented about Dreamcatcher but I really want mention about it again. Please do reaction for Dreamcatcher. I wanna know what do you think about them 🤔
Arrows = hate, but the only pain she can feels its her own hate toward herself, i dont know if i make sense lol ( and english not my language so if you dont understand im sorry and nervermind ^^) Keep up i love ur reaction

The arrows are her critics. None of them hit her. The only arrow that hits her, is the one she shoots herself. No comments from others hurt her. The only criticism that hurts her are the one she gives herself.
what song should we check out next!
Black swan bts 😅😅
this is random but I'd really love to see you react to "mamamoo - studio vs live"

the whee part of lyrics there is Hwasa calling out to her co mamamoo member and bestfriend Wheein to comfort her from the hate she is receiving.
Are you sure?....

I hope you are joking because Hwasa actually said in one of her recent vlive that the whee part is just her harmonizing.... Not everything is about Wheesa and is lowkey undermining the fact she explained this song as a comfort to *herself* after all she went through.
Please react to Mamamoo Hip, Egotistic, Starry Night, and Wind Flower
Hwasa is one of the few idols (or artist) that i really respect, i don't know if it's just me but i can really find an idol like her in the new kpop❤️👑
Its been 6 months since this song came out and I've FINALLY found what song LMM reminds me of! THANK YOUUUUUU
😁 I’m glad it helped you 🤣
This song is pure sensitivity and vulnerability.
Thank you so much for this too. I hope you make a reaction to Mamamoo as soon as possible.
Everytime I listen to LMM, I cried😢
The title is even more personal and beautiful once it downs on you that the flower represents Hwasa. Even thou I have never met her or know her I’m proud of her and I respect her for showing her vulnerable side
You should listen to her maria album all of her song never miss
This song is so extremely beautiful, moving, and soul stirring. One of my absolute favorites.
U should react to twit the first single of hwasa.
Probably most still don't know Cyndi Lauper said in an interview that she has Hwasa's LMM in her playlist...yes, THAT Cyndi Lauper
Really close with your guess! All of the arrows flying around her and missing represent the gate and cruelty she’s received throughout her career and only when she lets herself believe them and let them make her say bad things to herself does it actually hurt her (her shooting the arrow at herself). It’s a beautiful song and message and I love Hwasa so much.
this song made me cry especially when i heard the meaning behind the lyrics🥺 #staystronghwasa
I feel it every time she sings 😍
I couldn't agree with you more my day gets stressful sometimes and just listening to anything mamamoo just knows me out good ears. I'd have to agree with you start a fighting amongst yourself I think it wouldn't hurt her fits Self Doubt not thinking you're good enough but yet she's fantastic yeah it's definitely a deep meaning behind it
I love your Mamamoo reactions so much 🥺
Hiiii linton thanks for reacting to this
When this song came out i cried like crazyyy. Thanks plus plz react to blackswan by bts 😘😘
I hope you react to all of their solos!! ❤️
Please more content to Mamamoo💚
The arrows were all the hate she got over all these years. The hate followed her wherever she went and whatever she did. But none of the arrows ever hit her. mamamoo has always has said that they would never let that hate affect them. It is only when Hwasa shot an arrow back that it hit her. It is only when she let the hate get to her mind did she get hurt.
lmm (lost my mind) in such an amazing song my favorite one from maria album. my baby hwasa never disappoint
YES AND YESS
oh man, i love and hate this song and video so much... it's so powerful and raw, you can feel the emotion in every word, even if you don't understand what she's saying. and it reveals a side of her that most of the world doesn't see, one many refuse to even admit exists, that of a pained individual showing just how vulnerable (and normal) she actually is. quite a few people, some fans included, insist hwasa is a 'badass' 24/7 or that, as an idol, she gets training to deal with criticism and hate comments (i seriously want to know where that one came from, esp considering south korea is only recently even realizing mental health is an actual thing) so they can feel free to say anything they want (esp if what they're saying is untrue, they'll claim this). and i hate it precisely because of some of what i just mentioned... the people constantly attacking her over everything and nothing, the fact that she's had to deal with this for years now, and she's written multiple songs about how this is affecting her, despite these people going 'she's tough, she's an idol, she can handle a few words', totally ignoring all those idols who are no longer with us precisely because of 'a few words'...
the location the video was filmed at is a healing resort called kosmos on an island. and looking through the pictures on its site, the place was absolutely perfect for the video. so much gorgeous scenery
your idea about the arrows is... an interesting perspective and is actually somewhat true about the one specific arrow. just like the pencils in "maria", the arrows here represent all the hate she constantly gets merely for existing and she pretty much ignores them, brushes them aside. at least on the surface. but the one arrow she fires, the one hateful thought she aims at herself, is the one that strikes home, the one time she thinks 'what if these comments are right' is the only thing that affects her
Luv and proud of her🥺I think u d enjoy dreamcatcher I don’t think you heard like there songs in Koop yet 🍄🧸?
omg they saw my comment🍭

I love how you always take the time to appreciate the artist's vocals, especially mamamoo! You're doing amazing!!!!
This is such an underrated masterpiece
LOVE THE ENDING SONG 😍😍
She is my queen
I don't know if anyone has commented or not, but when Hwasa sings "hwi"\"whee", supposedly in theory, she is referring to Wheein. Whereas "hwi" refers to the wind element, which is represented by Wheein in the group. Hence the phrase "Do you wanna get somewhere", which would be directed at Wheein, since she is the biggest confidant of Hwasa.
Again, its just a theory :)) I'm a new subscriber and I'm absolutely loving your videos and reactions, especially the mamamoo ones!!
OLH YOU GOTTA REACT TO NOBODY ELSE BY HWASA

aaaaaaaa this song hit very hard the message of this song is very powerfull❤️🔥
One of the best analysis! Great video
when she say "WE" is talk about herself, the 2 hwasa of Maria!
Moonbyul vocals in the end👌
When I listen first time this song, I feel very sad even I don't understand the lyrics 😭😭 it's so sad,
You should watch all mv to mmm
Saw a comment that said that the other arrows didnt hit her but then she shot herself with an arrow because she is her own greatest enemy if she doesnt believe in herself.
The only arrow that hit her it’s her own
Hi i love your videos.
For me the arrow is something like just you can hurt yourself, the haters needs you "allow " then to hurt you.
Mamamoo English song cover next maybe?
Solar : Fever (A MUST), Love is You (ft.piano playing)
Wheein : Finesse, Say My Name.
Thank you for reaction!
I like how u dig deep into it
(Sorry if I made a mistake and this sentence makes no sence, English is my second language)
it makes perfect sense don't worry :D, If you'd like to type in your native language on my channel feel free to, i can always translate it :P
I don't know if my understanding is correct but from what I understand the arrow are from the haters but not a single one is caught her. And when she chose to fight back she ended up being the one who get hurt instead. And at the last scene where tons of arrow is comming at her, she chose to just still face forward as if saying that haters can throw as much hate as they want but not a single of them will hurt her anymore.
can you please react to can´t you see me - txt i think it´s a masterpiece

The arrows are her critics. None of them hit her. The only arrow that hits her, is the one she shoots herself. No comments from others hurt her. The only criticism that hurts her are the one she gives herself.
