I truly cherish my life 🌟. It's like Epictetus really knew what he was talking about! 💭✨

I find it a revelation that these Stoic teachings are how I have lived thru-out my life - never realized it had a name I learned these thru my parents & my Lutheran upbringing As I listen it’s so uplifting to hear what you say because it is how I live naturally! Thank you .

I love these teachings! Thank you for them 😊. I love how this one goes hand and hand with what Jesus taught while he was here. He also taught by example. After all that the Roman soldiers done to him he, while hanging on the cross said " forgive them father, for they know not what they do".
My journey to peace is when it came to me to take one problem or one sin or one habbit at a time to the lord 🙏 and say " God I am deeply sorry I done this, please remove it from my mind and my life, never to do this or let this bother my mind again.
When I felt like that prayer was answered, I would go to the next one until I got forgiveness and / or relief from everything that bothered my mind. I now live and sleep in heavenly peace. When something else bothers me because of me or someone else, I do this again and ask God to take it, because in Roman's he says " vengeance is mine, I will repay" that's why we should take it to the father, we are his children, he loves us and will help us.

Thank you so much for sharing your profound and inspiring thoughts! What you said is truly wonderful, especially how you connected the teachings of Jesus with Stoic philosophy. Both encourage us to seek inner peace through forgiveness, letting go, and entrusting what is beyond our control to a higher power.
Jesus’ prayer on the cross is indeed a powerful testament to forgiveness and calmness in the face of adversity. Your approach of entrusting each issue to God and seeking His forgiveness is truly inspiring. It’s a journey of patience and deep faith.
I hope you continue to live in that peace, and whenever faced with challenges, you always find comfort in your faith. Thank you for sharing such a meaningful story!

Awesome. My life has been so calm since learning many of these examples of stoicism. I have definitely learned the ability to not let anything get to me. It drives people crazy that they are being ignored.
    Please keep the lessons coming!

Honestly it took a very heartbreaking mistake to learn stoicism. You never stop learning with it! Be patient and know who you are.

You're absolutely right, Sharon. Sometimes it takes difficult or even heartbreaking experiences to fully embrace Stoicism. It's in those challenging moments that we often discover our true strength and resilience. The beauty of Stoicism is that it's a lifelong journey - one of constant learning, self-discovery, and growth. Patience and self-awareness are key, and with each lesson, we grow stronger.
