My sister (60 now) was a rock nut. I liked my pop, electronic and of course disco at the time. We both sneered at each other's music taste. Years ago when the Mamma Mia movie came out she got in touch to say "WE'RE GOING TO SEE IT! ARE YOU COMING?!" She admitted then she secretly loved them! 😅 Of course thanks to her I'm still in love with ELO and Meatloaf etc! 🤗

    Wikipedia:
Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad (born 15 November 1945 in Bjørkåsen in Ballangen, Norway).
ABBA went on to become the biggest-selling group in the world, second only to Volvo as Sweden's biggest export earner, topping the charts for a decade with hits like Dancing Queen (performed to celebrate the marriage of Swedish King Carl Gustaf to German commoner Silvia Sommerlath in 1976), Mamma Mia and Money Money Money.

The Fernando/Arrival is the the era put ABBA into orbit:
    1. Fernando
    2. Dancing Queen
    3. Money Money Money
    4. Knowing Me, Knowing You
Fernando was ABBA's most successful #1 on a major chart. #1 for 14 consecutive weeks on Australia charts. It was a non album single. Eventually incorporated in Arrival promo era.
ABBA's Fernando is technically a cover. ABBA covering Frida's original Fernando in Swedish. A big #1 radio hit.
Stig Anderson wrote the Swedish lyric.
Bjorn wrote the ABBA english lyric.
Arrival album was ABBA's biggest seller of all their albums.

Hey Salvador: very enjoyable reaction video and I appreciated the enthusiasm and excitement because that’s really the whole point of what Benny and Bjorn set out to do when they composed, recorded and then labored in the studio (which they actually loved) on the production aspects with the ultimate goal being perfectly crafted and technically flawless musical gems. My favorite of your ABBA reactions to date has to be “The Name Of The Game” which is one of my favorite ABBA songs and you responded to it perfectly. This reaction is pretty damn close though and it was a joy seeing your expressions as you heard and watched. I agree with you when you said you don’t react to enough ABBA songs. With that in mind, as I mentioned that “The Name Of The Game” is one of my favorite ABBA songs (actually it’s my #1 favorite), here are two suggestions for your next ABBA reactions, which also happen to be my #2 and #3 favorite ABBA songs “The Visitors (Crackin’ Up)” and “Knowing Me, Knowing You”. And here is a bonus suggestion “Lay All Your Love On Me”. Peace brother!

Money Money Money is one of Abba's masterpiece songs.
I only ever reserve that title for very few songs unlike today where people claim every second song by an artist is a masterpiece. It should be awarded sparingly.
Money is one of those songs where every element comes together perfectly. Music, lyric, vocal and production. A fitting masterpiece song in the pop genre.

@@The_Jupiter2_Mission I mean that Both guys tried to write every single part of a song the best way they could.Every corner filled up with catchy well crafted details Not just a fine chorus and a mediorce verse. That's what they've also stated in an interview. Some of todays releases lack this. Many later acts(not all) use samples from older songs due to their lack of talent in order to make it in the scene.MMM is a baroque pop masterpiece.Original recording was said to have a prolonged 'gypsy-violin' part at some points but the idea was finally scrapped in the studio. Would have perfectly match the original lyrics ('Gypsy Girl').

Hello , so nice to see you again reaction to ABBA songs
    "Money money money" (1976)
it is a very good song in a different musical style,
cabaret type, set in another era
    "Money money money"
    is the single that followed
    "Dancing Queen"
and reached # 3 in the UK,
#1 in Australia and several European countries.
It is a different song from its predecessor "Dancing Queen"
and also from its successor "Knowing me knowing you"
This is the versatility of ABBA,
they go from genre to genre,
as well as from success to success
The song lends itself well to the brunette Frida's lower voice
the choruses are sharper in contrast (and very catchy)
specialy with the voice of Agnetha in high notes
    The instrumentation is excellent
The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative,
it shows Them in fashion situations and also with their famous kimonos
and a year ago ABBA premieres
the new official lyric video of "Money money money"
I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs
My best regards to You from
    Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
    South America

Hi I would really appreciate it if you would react to, From Here to Entity by The Fizz, formally known as Bucks Fizz The Fizz - From Here To Eternity (Official Video).
Below is a little history of the group and singer.
Bucks Fizz star Jay Aston has endured a hellish ordeal over the last few years.
The singer, who rose to fame when the British band won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981 with 'Making Your Mind Up', has suffered from her own agonising health battles.
Jay was diagnosed with mouth cancer in June 2018, had a gruelling seven-hour operation to remove a section of her tongue and then had it rebuilt using part of her thigh.
They recorder this track on the day Jay was diagnosed with cancer which make it very emotional.
Jay has recovered and is still touring with the group they just played a sell out concert at the 02 arena in London 43 years after winning the Eurovision.

Benny has said that there are eight songs he wishes ABBA hadn't made. He refuses to say which they are, but he is know to dislike Suzy Hangaround. That is the one song where he sings lead.

“Man in the Middle” is definitely the worst AꓭBA song. But I like “You Owe Me One”… even Rolling Stone magazine liked YOMO in its review of The Singles.

@@jodij6280 I just realized that I AM WRONG. Neither of those two songs are the WORST ABBA song. That would be "I Saw It In The Mirror" from the Ring Ring album.

Hello , so nice to see you again reaction to ABBA songs
    "Money money money" (1976)
it is a very good song in a different musical style,
cabaret type, set in another era
    "Money money money"
    is the single that followed
    "Dancing Queen"
and reached # 3 in the UK,
#1 in Australia and several European countries.
It is a totally different song from its predecessor "Dancing Queen"
and also from its successor "Knowing me knowing you"
This is the versatility of ABBA,
they go from genre to genre,
as well as from success to success
The song lends itself very well to the brunette Frida's lower voice,
the choruses are sharper in contrast (and very catchy)
specialy with the voice of Agnetha in high notes
    The instrumentation is excellent
The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative,
it shows Them in fashion situations and also with their famous kimonos
and a year ago ABBA premieres
the new official lyric video of "Money money money"
I hope to see you soon with more ABBA songs
My best regards to You from
    Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
    South America
