SO did I recover my costs or indeed, make a profit? Watch to find out and a short description of the next video is at the end of this video. Due to my lack of concentration in editing there is a slight jump back at around 2 minutes....oh well :( Find me on Ebay: www.ebay.co.uk/usr/kin-992
Wow, I am sorry to hear that you fell and were injured. I am glad to see you are recovering! Great video and some interesting tidbits! Cheers and all the best!
It is all OK Anthony. I didn't advertise my fall until this video. Sadly my friend, at a a certain age one does not simply bounce straight back up. Love to you and Joyce x
First up. Hope you're fully recovered from your fall. Sorry to hear that the sales have not gone as well as you had hoped. Best of luck for the rest of the sales. Happy Modelling
Many thanks for your kind words. Sales have not progressed quickly due to my health issue more than anything. I took a long term view as well when I purchased that collection because it was a collection of bits rather than a "ready to go" model railway :)
Excellent video roger my friend very interesting and very informative really enjoyed watching and as they say one man’s junk is another man’s treasure and I’m sure you will have no problems with selling or getting rid of any items as there is always someone out there that will be interested, take care and speak soon happy modelling kind regards Danny 👍🏻👀👋🏻🤩
Cheers Danny. IT will all get moved on eventually and it was never a money making exercise. It could have been moved on a bit faster if I hadn't fallen over lol
Interesting and I hope your sales are worthwhile. 👍 Quite ironic as this video was posted while I sit here packing another tranche of unused stock to sell! 🙂 _Local model shop offers a fair price whilst being easier than selling on-line._
@@StBlazeyModelWorld Much of what I am selling on has been superseded by a wider range of models becoming available enabling greater focus on the model's era and location. There are a few instances of much improved models too (such as the Terrier). Then (as you quite rightly point out), there is always the 'Magpie' effect..... 🙂

Roger, you are a good man, great video mate!
Cheers Ross, like many of us, I try to do my bit when I can. Thanks for viewing and taking the extra time to leave a comment :)

Well done as long as you break even, you lose nothing
Too true my friend. It will sell in it's own good time. I always viewed it as a longer term project rather than quick sales and profits :)

We all end up with too much stuff my friend. There must be a Magpie DNA in all scale modelers that makes them think "I need to buy more" lol
