    Katie this turkey soup is smelling amazing! Enjoying this list of great videos! Take a break from editing. You need rest. Your peeps can run your lists to offset the loss of new video revenue. Gotta take care of you first. Home cleaning supplies for sure!

      Thank you Mel 🤗
      He woke up from his nap too early and I had to get some work done-I have to cram it in where I can and I hope that when people watch they don’t mind my kids are sometimes in the videos. Otherwise I’d never finish anything 😅
      His dad was sleeping off a migraine in the same room as the baby but I guess he couldn’t hear the baby crying with earplugs in. It was daddy duty time so I could work but daddy was out of commission 🤕 We don’t talk about that part of life on here much but we navigate challenges with his health and it makes my plate a little fuller these days.

    Hi there, I'm from Australia, a TH-cam friend puts barley in her bolognaise sauce to make it go further which I think is a great idea, the texture is very similar to the mince meat, when I make hamburgers or rissoles I add several wheat bix to bulk up and make it go further and when I make pumpkin soup I add red lentils they pretty much dissolve add loads of protein and thicken in up, prices here are insane I'm learning to prep can and I've been making my own bread now for three months, I want to learn how to make sour dough next. No take away for this household but occasional we get fish and chips. Stay safe xx

    We've doubled the size of our garden this year so I can do more canning and freezing. We have a local source for beef and pork (just need to convince the hubs to raise some meat chickens 😉). Empty nesting has helped our grocery bill go WAY down! At one point we had 2 teenage boys who were swimming competitively! 😳Thank you so much for the tips and motivation ❤️

      I can do that! I have shared in other videos but I think I need a specific “basic loaf in the bread machine” video as well as I how I use it to just make dough for other things like pizza!

      The one I use and link in my description makes a normal 2lb loaf and I love my machine!! It frees up so much time! Last night before I went grocery shopping I started a loaf and it was done when I got home- talk about multi tasking!!!

    It is very sad that SO many people today do not know how to cook even basic foods from scratch. So many people, alarming amounts of people in fact, either eat out or eat boxes of stuff they think is food. I can count on my fingers how many people I know personally that cook like I do. I fill our freezers with fresh purple hull peas, baby lima beans, corn, etc from a local farmer. My husband hunts deer and we buy all of our other meats and eggs from another local farmer. We have a "grocery store room" in our house that is filled with so much food I have canned like potatoes, beans, beef stew, beef tips, bone broths, jams, etc. plus tons of bulk foods from Azure Standard. We cook almost every single meal at home. I am so thankful that I always wanted to be a homemaker that took care of my family with home cooked meals. I can make a meal that costs a lot and tastes amazing and I can make a meal that costs very little and tastes amazing. With the difficult times we are facing now, the insane prices and serious predictions of food shortages, everyone had better learn the skills you and I already have mastered.

      @@RowesRising I wonder how clean the base pan is. It states very clearly in the direction and the cleanliness needed. Example is if they are pouring the water in the top does any splash up on the pitcher and then drip back in the top.

    • @RowesRising
      @RowesRising  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes when water testing from a faucet or vessel it must be sterile and clean to test just the water. When we hadour home water tested they told us it didn’t initially pass cause we didn’t burn the faucet first. So I agree with you that they likely did not have proper conditions.

Time saver. Yes, you can use it to bake in, I just didn't like where the paddle stuck in the bottom of my loaf and left a whole. Just me.
