The terrain generation in your world is from Indev, which is incredibly early in Minecraft's history. It was before the full release, beta, alpha and even infinite worlds (which were added in infdev). The world was limited to 256x256 back then.
Ok I wrote this comment before but it disappeared into the aether for some reason If you use Golden Days and Nostalgia tweaks you can make it truly play and look like old Minecraft. Golden Days retextures all the new blocks from modern Minecraft to look like classic Minecraft, and Nostalgia Tweaks is highly customizable, allowing you to make it play like beta Minecraft with the old hunger system and lack of sprint I'm yet to see someone actually use these mods with a horror mod. Add PSX shaders in the mix and I think you'd have something really cool on your hands ^^

For all the build up, the ''super scary realistic herobrine with blood in his eyes'' just doing the usual run at you at high speeds and one shot you is kinda boring. Also if you want your own video to be scarier you could try getting strong armor/tools to make it look like the le scary monster is strong, i guess.

I added the original in your world mod, made it an old version of the world generation with Moderner, and placed the in your world structures as they don't spawn in the moderner preset I used That's about it, OH but also I used "fog looks modern now" cause its nothing without the fog lol
