One of my favorites.
What a treasure....such a pleasure. Larry is in perfect form....such a refined and kindly gentleman....he's played with the best of them, and once in a while, with someone who is not worthy to carry his case....but you'd never know it....his gentle spirit and demeanor demonstrates why he is so loved. He is a living legend. Thanks for posting this wonderful performance....everyone was really up to speed.
So sad to read of his passing , thank you to Melissa for getting him on U Tube I could still enjoy his fabulous tenor Sax 😢
Look at Larry McKenna play his instrument, so fabulous, so fine.
This is excellent!
Larry McKenna is a supreme sax player. one of the best of all time.
We love you and miss you, Larry.. We know you are on the Happiest Trails with endless Bright Moments. AH
Larry's tone is a delight on these videos.
Michael, this souvenir is a gem! Thank you so much for capturing and sharing it. I always loved to hear Larry and Warren together.
excellent, Larry
This rocks & Larry sounds like Harlem in 1950 it’s making me cry
were you there in Harlem in the 50s?
"Do you know Lotus Blossom?"
"Unfortunately I do..."
LOL 😂
Larry McKENNA: un maestro. Che voce, che belle linee melodiche ' che artista...
There he goes! Larry!
Watten, sounding very good too on the cornet!
Wow Larry!
Man the Van Hussen tunes so hip and advanced Heres that Rainy Day, I thought About You, But Beautiful, 85 Sinatra songs.
So enjoyed their laid back slow interpretation. Really sucked me in to listen and relax!!
exceptional piano playing
Larry was just waiting. A great jazz saxophonist.
Making Real Music, Great!
Beautiful!
ohhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! very beautifull
2019, Larry is playing.

Larry
Bring it larry
Love versão chet baker!
👍👍
Vache seems to me after watching several videos to be rather obnoxious and pompous but he plays SO nicely! Larry and Phil and Joe...beautiful.
In person, Warren is neither. Beware of quick judgments!
@@swingyoucats I defer to you of course and believe and respect you, but the way he responded to Phil when Phil suggested “Lotus Blossom” , a beautiful Strayhorn piece, was anything but deferential/polite in front of the audience. If I was sitting in the audience not knowing him, I would’ve felt the same way.
Larry McKenna is a supreme jazz saxophonist, that hasn't been recognized globally by the white jazz people that qualify performers for some unknown reason.
Alas, we must move Larry out of the present tense.
