Sad to hear about this. He was such a witty, smart and dashing presence in his prime. The past 20 years or so weren't kind to him. I hope future generations discover him from possible Channel 4 reruns of Who's Line is it Anyway.

Isn't it lovely how some people, and it doesn't matter how long ago it was, just stay with you. Tony did this always loved his cheeky and handsome face, lovely man. Definitely will be stirring it up in heaven and enjoying himself just like years ago I'm sure. RIP mate you were ace!

Linda,he was.What you see is a shell of a person that has been ravaged with demons and nightmares from a brain chemical imbalance that he tried to tame and block with the aid of drink and drugs,and days without sleep,then days with excessive sleep.Relentless.No end to it.RiP.

So, so funny and such a mischievious look that was always the first image in my head every time the thought of you illuminated my imagination from both Who's line and the unique S&M which made me laugh until almost illness.
Rest well from the challenges you faced, make them laugh up there along with the companionship of yr pets...and thank you so much...laughter you gave so many years ago is with us still and we can still hear yr voice with each line...RIP. x
My goodness, he must be very ill, cant believe he is only 65 its sad whatever happened in his life has aged him so badly, he was very quick and witty, i enjoyed the tv show he was in, RIP Mr Slattery.

I was once in a club in London when I observed Tony (RIP) get into a bit of a skirmish with some other fellow who had just attempted to snort up what appeared to be detergent from a table. Tony (RIP) wasn't happy and in the pushing and shoving that followed was heard shouting : " WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY?!!!! "
