Fantastic references, I think that's exactly what this album evokes, a new originality for the new decade like those acts were for the 2010s. A real intelligence and reverence for the genre.
This might be the most compelling, haunting and well-crafted electronic song I've ever heard. I think this song will age very well. Reminds me of an old friend who's always in my thoughts.
UNHoly shit...you took the words out my mouth! And what's funny is that the song mentions friendship so could it be subliminal. One things for sure I love how that theme and the production merge together perfectly. I can't even tell if it's about a lover🖤

@@teagueman100 No, your cells aren't mere fascimiles. They are entangled (referring to quantum entanglement) meaning they are one with the original. It was recently proposed that we could create a simulation of our brain or mind (whatever the mind may be) inside a quantum computer wherein the qubits used to simulate our mind are entangled with our mind. Then this simulation would not be a mere facsimile but an actual part of our mind or an extension of it. You see? But I'd say there is no guarantee that the simulation would evolve the same as the original would have (once the original is gone). That's presuming you can even find the source of the mind. It's my 20th time listening to this song in less than a day, and I'm still getting goosebumps and that feeling that comes over a person when they rreeaalllyyy like what they're hearing. Magdalena Bay has a sound, look, and overall energy that is fun and unique, and while definitely tipping their hats to 80's and 90's music and pop culture from America to Asia, nobody I've ever heard sounds quite like them. They deserve a cult following, I just hope they stay true to their original sounds and ideas. Yup, I'm VERY excited for this album.
Fuck this is so perfect, I honestly can't remember the last time I heard anything this good. And combined with the video it's just insane. How does this masterpiece only have 200k views???!!!
As someone with Synesthesia I experience colors and sound when tasting or observing and listening and I felt like I was surrounded by a broken kaleidoscope from the incredible production and mastery here. The vocal is haunting and transcendental and the melodies are glowing.
@@kittymaid420 Honestly both. I see colors and shapes the most when listening to music and I envision a lot internally when that music has an emotional resonance with me.
I love this comment. I don't have synesthesia but I have Dissociative disorder so I daydream most of my life away. The video is definitely what I imagined what it would sound like. A sunset, a solumn expression, flashing lights, robots, a soft way of dancing. They really did the music justice with this video.
