Great racing. Prevot made a key strategic move making sure she was ahead of Neff on the last decent. It allowed her to diffuse Neff on the downhill. Neff would have stretched a lead if she was in front on the last downhill.
Top quality highlights, exciting racing footage, passionate comments. Watching the Women's race I was wondering why the Women's pro road tour is so boring. Now I know - because UCI officials draw short, flat and dull routes. Give the pro Ladies a chance to shine instead of organizing their European championship on flatlands consisting of 10 laps in an urban area. Shame!
He have too choose in the future, after gold on the olympics he has his goal and he will have full focus on the road. When he will win silver he wil go on for 4 years. So it all depends on the Olympics. 😉
@@duncandunk8437 The problem with MTB is, that professional riders still can't make good fortune in MTB. This is also an important issue inside mountainbiking. So the Professional road cycling will still be more challenging for most of the MTB profs. But otherwise you also see many MTB'ers conform themselfs with the MTB for the rest of their career like Florian Vogel, Nino Schurter etc.
They aren’t “limited” to only 100mm of travel unless that’s a UCI standard. I’m sure On an XC bike you wouldn’t want anything above 120mm to not sacrifice the climbing performance of the bike.
@@GarrettHMTB Thanks! Very good point. I put a 160mm fork on my Cube Reaction TM and the climbing definitely suffered as the front end of the bike wanders much more and it's a bit more difficult to keep the wheel on the ground. But going down hill is much more enjoyable now.
Mi Self Haha sweet! Yeah definitely noticeable difference but your Cube is more of a trail hardtail, so I think your right on the cusp. 160 is pretty much perfect for your application. But I’m sure your just out there to have fun shredding, you wouldn’t be trying to win any local XC races. Have fun with that new fork .🤘🏿 Where do you ride?
its going to make for a great season next year.... pailine on form is really hard to topple... yolanda is a monster rider still coming back from injury . sooo many top class riders , kate, jenny , rebecca , anne tauber, not to mention all the under 23 ladies moving up to elite .... last few seasons of womens xc has been some great racing ....
I mostly watch the women's races and I know the style of bike changes per course but I'm noticing that the men are all riding full suspensions for this race whereas the ladies are on hardtails. Is there a reason for this?
Jamel Piclit It used to be that riders must be self sufficient during mountain bike races, and were not permitted to receive any assistance from crew or mechanics. The only exception was assistance from other riders. I guess that rule has since been abrogated.
Awesome! The filming and editing of these is top notch ... Always looking forward to seeing the Redbull highlights!
Great racing Jenny R. - BRAVO!!
pauline'courages and power of mathew.great finishes👍
Mathew he is super strong... yeahh 💪💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘
Bravo Pauline, le dépassement à la fin était juste super smart. Et ce parcours est extra!
C’est Canyon qui doit être bien content...
The best, dramatic finish ever! Ever!
I love XC!
pauline!!! quelle fusée ! on avait prédit (nous les fans) un grand retour mais alors là ça depasse tout !
I Love Yolanda Neff
Da gosto de ver esses caras ascelerando forte 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🇧🇷
Good day for Canyon. Matthieu is going to be gold mine for them.
Pauline is brutal either. Canyon can be the biggest winner with Pauline and MVDP in Tokyo.
Yes!!! THE FAST AND GORGEOUS PAULINE did it!! 😍😍🇵🇭
two absolutely epic races!
Wooah..these highlights getting better and better...just EPIC (but still informative) coverage! Thanks 🔴🐂💪😅

Monster cadence.
rip rob warner's voice (1970-2019)

Awesome women's race.
Nice highlights
And nino getting dropped!
Damn
But he wins the title at the end of the year.
Michael Dennis: Hmmmm. You do realize the best rider chose not to enter the last 2 races right?
Matthieu trop fort
Forget about Nino Schurter. MATHIEU VAN DER POEL will give them all cycle lessons for the next few years. I tell you.

Bagus chantik👍
Fantástico 😎👍
Que repórter linda
bom trabalho.
These courses are crazy giving the HT angles of XC bikes. Are these bikes limited to a 100mm fork?

Wo wo Kate
Super,🌹🥀☀️👍🍀🚴
Yeah
Have to wonder if Neff's time at the top is done if Prevot stays healthy.

Van de pole #1
Woman’s XC is more exciting to watch than the men’s race.
Not if you know the women are a minute slower per lap.
@@rockyslay4310 excitment doesn't always equate to speed.
Tenatious _E totally agree, the women’s racing is absolutely fantastic, so many potential winners and just more exciting than the men’s.
Can I please have a video featuring JUST Briana? Oh my word!
4:41 HAAHHAHAHA
Cirkus Humberto
How does someone in the back even have the will to make to try and make it to the front. Like it looks like there’s no way at all it’s even possible.
You can still make personal progress. More than half the field know they arent going to win.
Van der Poel wins if he wants.

I was wondering the same thing!
The women are generally lighter and the better overall power/weight ratio is better with a hardtail for them.
Well, the men are stronger overall, so the weight penalty is not a big deal for them for the better descending capability of full suspension.
Outside assistance is permitted?
What do you mean by outside assistance?

Now that's alot of bikers
Neno couldn’t go past his limit because past his limit wouldn’t have been enough anyway. M VDP is unbelievable
Struggling to see a hard tail in this circuit.
Why would they use a hardtail though?
@@jamelpiclit3062 hardtails still lightest and best for climbing sections.
AVANCINI.
They say its technical when they're at the same location as the DH
wow, the host girl is pretty
AVANCINI is very close to Mathiel 🚴🏼♂️🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Hi Red Bull, are you looking for new editor or camera operator? I make videos like you. My latest video is: Van Der Poel wins European Championships.
Spanish videos please
Xc isnt mtb
Actually xc is the original mtb racing before dh or enduro.
Says the dude who will get smoked on downhill by these athletes.
Lmao
