Well the reason they didn't care was probably because the community was much more forgiving and it was just 1 tix. Now if they lost a single robux, they would go on a rampage trying to find the one who scammed them.
So glad I never fell to any scams as a kid and the fact that my parents were pretty secure with their information, even when it came to buying me memberships for some games. However I did encounter the one at 23:26, they actually got into my friend’s account (who hadn’t played in years at the time) and changed their avatar completely and dming me asking if my avatar could be in the game. And because I had known my friend since the third grade and yk, having her number, I legit messaged her asking if that was a real ass message and she had no idea what I was talking about. Luckily she got her account back and is pretty active on Roblox now
i saw that one too except idk if they got their account back, because i thought it was actually them. im pretty sure they messaged me through the chat thing on the roblox website (not messages, the thing at the bottom right), and they linked a video. i was learning roblox studio at the time, and i knew that the way shown was not the correct way to get an avatar template, so i commented on the video saying that theres a better way of getting the avatar template. but when i refreshed the page, my comment was gone, and i looked at the other comments and there was just like 6 different things that multiple comments by different people said. that was when i figured out it was a scam video, but i still believed that the account was not compromised by scammers. i ACTUALLY got my avatar template and tried sending an image link to them, but roblox kept filtering it, and i gave up. i wonder what happened to that account.

I’m still wondering on why they changed my friend’s avatar during that, it was the Running of the Bulls outfit/just hat that went around which I believe was also a hack going around at the time? Luckily my friend had like no Robux whatsoever so it was very minimal damage

I was just playing Roblox when, for whatever reason, a user named Moses messaged me talking about how he was developing a new roblox game and he went through with this same exact script. I don't know what was going through my mind at the moment, but I didn't suspect a thing. I was talking with people in the Defend the Statue discord server through vc, and this guy seemed oddly familiar. Looking back through our messages, I feel so stupid for not catching onto the obvious hints like him being seemingly very impatient and such. I only lost about 1.5k robux worth of the newer egg hunt eggs, but I can't believe that I only caught on literally 6 months later and didn't lose my account entirely (probably due to it being a generic, 2017 account with a long name)

Don’t forget the blackmail where the scammer will say that you will get banned from a game and accuse you of scamming. They then will ask for the password reset.
@@dfliu2003I got that scam and didn't even know it was a scam until now 💀 and I got that back in like 2018 LMFAO I was just too idiotic to know how to use inspect element and so I ghosted the scammer after many frustrated failed attempts. I also somehow saved myself from being scammed a second time, this time in 2020-2021 (but in discord), where someone asked me to play test their "game" (malware). I had to eat lunch and said I'd play it after, then completely forgot and went on with my day 💀

Quit Roblox for like 5 years and came back to losing my 400k+ Robux in limiteds. Some things that scammers post are so believable in the moment. I'm happy to say now I am on the look out and wont let it happen again. Great Video!

Hey, I've noticed a small thing you forgot to say in the malicious links section, to let the website access the ROBLOSECURITY cookie you need to give it access to cookies from different sites which is something most (if not all) modern browsers block by default, so just visiting a website is not dangerous as long as you don't allow sharing the cookies from other sites or just falling for a fake login. If anyone needs a more detailed explanation just send me a reply here :)
In early 2020 i became a bit of an Adopt Me freak and at some point joined a discord server in which i don't remember their purpose, but probably pet giveaways paired with scams like pasting a certain link into your tab then pressing enter or cross trading. Anyways i remember texting somebody through dms and they convinced me if i wanted to get better pets and fast i'd want to copy and paste a link they'd give me, into my search bar. To which i fell for it and some minutes later i was logged out of my account. I started panicking and reset my password asap to which i did successfully and regained access. When i logged back in i realised my account sent a message ''hacked'' to one of my friends, to which i panicking at the scammer this time and worried. They assured me it was okay and 'the admins' - maybe referring to roblox or idk - were dealing with it. I don't remember what happened next but i'm grateful now that nothing too terrible happened to my account. And i don't remember finding any of my pets missing either or robux, etc. I was also 11 at the time, a dumb 11 yo in fact and i admit it. It was only until about over a year later i sort of matured enough to recognise common scams and ways to identify it as well as being more cautious if unsure. I still have my account today and that incident was even a lesson, my account was completely invaluable to them or i had unknowingly caught them red handed.

I legit did the exact same thing when it came to Roblox scam sites. I remember going on so many of those sites and not thinking about how obviously fake everything was. I first joined Roblox in 2017, so right when these scam sites were at their peak, and MIRACULOUSLY still have my account from 2017. GREAT vid btw, you deserve way more subs than your current amount. The first egghunt scam was definitely the smartest, because people had to use their brains thinking they were onto something just to get scammed out of 1 Tic, it wasn't too harmful but certainly smart. You had to be a little smart just to get outsmarted

Exactly. I remember some kid got mad at me for something stupid and kept saying they were a "hacker" and kept demanding my password. I gave them the typical "Goback2school" fake password and they thought it was actually the password and started gloating about how they "had" my account now.

There are also commision scams, for example:You hire a guy to make you a roblox game the guy wants the payment upfront and you pay him up front, and then, he just ghosts you.Those scams are really common on discord servers like RoDevs and HiddenDevs

There’s pretty much no point in scamming young or old audience, if people bully you for being broke or being bad at something. Just ignore them, they might try to cause some attention for themselves or just trying to make yourself feel bad. If becoming a scammer it will cause some drama and nothing good will happen and your putting a higher risk of your account being IP banned or account deleted. Remember, even tho Roblox might be a negative platform, there’s always nice people.
I invented my own scan back in the day when I was on the app. Using the /me command, which was global some years ago, it would send a message in a unique monospaced squished font different than the rest of chat messages. By typing “/me blushes”, it would type “Flammywam Blushes”, inputting your IGN. I would type “/me [Admin]: Hey! Whisper me your roblox password and I’ll give you admin for this game”, which in a unique message in chat everyone got plenty of people thought I was an actual admin and would send passwords. I eventually got banned for it on my first account, but not until I had stolen a hundred dollars worth of robux in assorted items.

I remember when I was about 11-12 years old I fell for a scam where you got promised robux by entering your password in an input in a game. My account was stolen but I managed to get it back thankfully lol. I remember feeling so stressed out about it.
When I was a kid, unfortunately I would fall for the free robux machine that ask you to enter your password and got my account stolen with one of it. Getting my account stolen absolutely destroyed me when I was still young and it taught me a lesson that I learned the hard way. Nowadays scams in roblox are very malicious with a simple fake link that will steal your token with 1 click.
Someone actually tried to scam me with the HAR scam before and I just learned it was a scam, I was too dumb to figure out what to do meaning I was actually like the first person too dumb to get scammed lol
Dude, my account almost got freaking hacked with the stupid cookie logger thing. I was tryna trade for a dark egg on a game called ASTD and this guy seemed all kind and stuff offering to give me one for free. However, when I clicked on his profile link, I found out that it led to an unlogged session of my Roblox page and immediately knew something was up when there was a login attempt that came through my Gmail that came from a different ass country. I then immediately took all precautions and even logged out of all my sessions as you said in this video. Seeing this has made me confirm that the absolute freaking scumbag tried hacking me and I thank God that I managed to put two and two together.. Thanks for this vid man its been truly helpful to each and every one of us and if not all of us, then it was extremely useful to me ❤🙏🏾😭😊
as a kid i did some pretty petty online game scams like convincing people to put their furniture in my rooms on Habbo and then banning them right away, but I *still* feel like such a little asshole about those times, idk how people do such immense horrible scamming and don’t feel like a complete waste of skin.
my cousin whos two years older than me, i kid you fucking not, fell for a scam, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. (admittedly i searched up free robux too but i didnt fall for any cause i didnt know my password) and i have a vivid memory of my cousin saying, "MOMMMMM WHAT'S MY ROBLOX PASSWORD SO I CAN GET FREE ROBUX." so he lost his account and i didnt because i didnt give my password. this is also my cousin who skipped a grade and finished 8th grade with a 4.0 gpa.
I remember those Draw Me t-shirts, I recall buying one back in like 2012 or 2013 and surprisingly I got a drawing back which is the oldest decal on my account, which made me buy a couple more that weren't legit. Luckily this is as bad as I got scammed and never lost an account or real money from one as a kid, but know plenty of friends who unfortunately fell victim to scammers that preyed on war group players in particular.
I only got scammed once and it was on that Arcane Odyssey or something game from years ago, it was a big "login" interface that covered the screen in game and I was confused, but logged in anyway. Unfortunately for the scammers, my account had nothing in it since I was a kid with no access to anything lmao
scams for ppls roblox accounts are weird. i got hacked back when i was like 9 years old and my account didnt have any robux or anything they still had to buy their own and they just bought new clothes and stuff they didnt even change the username 😭
this same thing happened to my old account except they kept the username 😭 i didn’t realize until a year later because i stopped playing but at that point i couldn’t get it back because i forgot half of my information and roblox support did nottttt help

In early 2020 i became a bit of an Adopt Me freak and at some point joined a discord server in which i don't remember their purpose, but probably pet giveaways paired with scams like pasting a certain link into your tab then pressing enter or cross trading. Anyways i remember texting somebody through dms and they convinced me if i wanted to get better pets and fast i'd want to copy and paste a link they'd give me, into my search bar. To which i fell for it and some minutes later i was logged out of my account. I started panicking and reset my password asap to which i did successfully and regained access. When i logged back in i realised my account sent a message ''hacked'' to one of my friends, to which i panicking at the scammer this time and worried. They assured me it was okay and 'the admins' - maybe referring to roblox or idk - were dealing with it. I don't remember what happened next but i'm grateful now that nothing too terrible happened to my account. And i don't remember finding any of my pets missing either or robux, etc. I was also 11 at the time, a dumb 11 yo in fact and i admit it. It was only until about over a year later i sort of matured enough to recognise common scams and ways to identify it as well as being more cautious if unsure. I still have my account today and that incident was even a lesson, my account was completely invaluable to them or i had unknowingly caught them red handed.

I can’t believe there’s so many Roblox scams out there, with different methods and varying effects. Sometimes Roblox can be scary at times for sure
I legit did the exact same thing when it came to Roblox scam sites. I remember going on so many of those sites and not thinking about how obviously fake everything was. I first joined Roblox in 2017, so right when these scam sites were at their peak, and MIRACULOUSLY still have my account from 2017.

I had my account since 2015 and also went on those scam websites often, surprisingly i got my account back after being hacked into 4 times
The first egghunt scam was definitely the smartest, because people had to use their brains thinking they were onto something just to get scammed out of 1 Tic, it wasn't too harmful but certainly smart.

Exactly. I remember some kid got mad at me for something stupid and kept saying they were a "hacker" and kept demanding my password. I gave them the typical "Goback2school" fake password and they thought it was actually the password and started gloating about how they "had" my account now.

There are also commision scams, for example:You hire a guy to make you a roblox game the guy wants the payment upfront and you pay him up front, and then, he just ghosts you.Those scams are really common on discord servers like RoDevs and HiddenDevs

There’s pretty much no point in scamming young or old audience, if people bully you for being broke or being bad at something. Just ignore them, they might try to cause some attention for themselves or just trying to make yourself feel bad. If becoming a scammer it will cause some drama and nothing good will happen and your putting a higher risk of your account being IP banned or account deleted. Remember, even tho Roblox might be a negative platform, there’s always nice people.
I invented my own scan back in the day when I was on the app. Using the /me command, which was global some years ago, it would send a message in a unique monospaced squished font different than the rest of chat messages. By typing “/me blushes”, it would type “Flammywam Blushes”, inputting your IGN. I would type “/me [Admin]: Hey! Whisper me your roblox password and I’ll give you admin for this game”, which in a unique message in chat everyone got plenty of people thought I was an actual admin and would send passwords. I eventually got banned for it on my first account, but not until I had stolen a hundred dollars worth of robux in assorted items.

I remember when I was about 11-12 years old I fell for a scam where you got promised robux by entering your password in an input in a game. My account was stolen but I managed to get it back thankfully lol. I remember feeling so stressed out about it.
When I was a kid, unfortunately I would fall for the free robux machine that ask you to enter your password and got my account stolen with one of it. Getting my account stolen absolutely destroyed me when I was still young and it taught me a lesson that I learned the hard way. Nowadays scams in roblox are very malicious with a simple fake link that will steal your token with 1 click.
Someone actually tried to scam me with the HAR scam before and I just learned it was a scam, I was too dumb to figure out what to do meaning I was actually like the first person too dumb to get scammed lol

Dude, my account almost got freaking hacked with the stupid cookie logger thing.
I was tryna trade for a dark egg on a game called ASTD and this guy seemed all kind and stuff offering to give me one for free. However, when I clicked on his profile link, I found out that it led to an unlogged session of my Roblox page and immediately knew something was up when there was a login attempt that came through my Gmail that came from a different ass country. I then immediately took all precautions and even logged out of all my sessions as you said in this video. Seeing this has made me confirm that the absolute freaking scumbag tried hacking me and I thank God that I managed to put two and two together.. Thanks for this vid man its been truly helpful to each and every one of us and if not all of us, then it was extremely useful to me ❤🙏🏾😭😊

my cousin whos two years older than me, i kid you fucking not, fell for a scam, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. (admittedly i searched up free robux too but i didnt fall for any cause i didnt know my password) and i have a vivid memory of my cousin saying, "MOMMMMM WHAT'S MY ROBLOX PASSWORD SO I CAN GET FREE ROBUX."
so he lost his account and i didnt because i didnt give my password. this is also my cousin who skipped a grade and finished 8th grade with a 4.0 gpa.

I remember those Draw Me t-shirts, I recall buying one back in like 2012 or 2013 and surprisingly I got a drawing back which is the oldest decal on my account, which made me buy a couple more that weren't legit. Luckily this is as bad as I got scammed and never lost an account or real money from one as a kid, but know plenty of friends who unfortunately fell victim to scammers that preyed on war group players in particular.
I wish I had a list of all the free robux generator sites I visited.

I only got scammed once and it was on that Arcane Odyssey or something game from years ago, it was a big "login" interface that covered the screen in game and I was confused, but logged in anyway. Unfortunately for the scammers, my account had nothing in it since I was a kid with no access to anything lmao

scams for ppls roblox accounts are weird. i got hacked back when i was like 9 years old and my account didnt have any robux or anything they still had to buy their own and they just bought new clothes and stuff they didnt even change the username 😭
