- At the Cannes boat show, Toby Hodges got the chance to take a tour of the CNB 78, a superyacht-style cruiser that will set you back about €4m. This Briand design is the first new CNB model since Solaris bought the brand

Any chance you could start doing these videos in 4K? It would really bring out the details in boats like this.
Or at least 1440p😅😍. Lot of difference in there already.
Shoot in 4K and you still got wiggle room in the editing👀😇😄
Jheeze Toby looking great!
Ha!! Thank you! 😄👍
Absolutely incredible sailboat.. ⛵️
Impressive yacht. Thank you for the tour.
Yes please.
Magnificent. Referring to the material: considering the limited time and the rush you probably had - a gold medal. I didn't even notice the image problems... if it weren't for the apologies on the screen ;)
Thank you, that's very kind!
Thank you for these great videos ! Curios, do the carbon masts retain a lot of heat from the sun ?
# magnificent yacht. ⛵
thinking about the CNB 66 "Escape" accident and wondering what lessons were learned at CNB as to safety / seaworthiness / minimal crew. I would think thrice before buying.
Beautiful... If you want a yachy to retire , sail shothanded most of the time , 4 cabins + crew, Caribbean / Mediterranean ( Atlantic crossing twice a year) luminous , need a cockpit for BBQs and cocktails and a desk for laptop working . Recommendations anyone ? Thanks for reading
Too much draft, if you really need 4 cabins I'd go motor.
I've been looking at the smaller CNB Bordeaux 60 10 years ago, still a lot of boat, and you need hired hands on berthing.
CNB is owned by Solaris, that or I'll look at Italia yacht nowadays.
4 cabins = catamaran usually.
I thought Solaris was going tk start integrating solar panels on their boats now and were making a rack for solar panel arrays...or maybe that wasn't them. Was sure I read tnat. They called it the extended journey platform or something that marketing peolple come up with. Oh well. So how did she ride or was that not you onboard at the end?
Decisions, decisions, this yacht? Oyster or keep my old Contessa? I hope you get to test sail soon, just so that I can decide to keep my old boat. Unless the lottery is good to me. Then I really would have a dilemma. Another good video and a lovely yacht sadly way beyond my means.
👍
Who did you say bought CNB ? Always love them.
Solaris Yachts in Italy bought CNB from Groupe Beneteau
@@yachtingworld They got rid of the only luxury brand in their portfolio, which makes sense
what would be impressive if the front 3 cabins could be 1 huge room with a full bath
Looks like a smaller Ngoni
Definitely bella figura but no hand holds anywhere also standing helm only
OK OK, I would rather than this one, rather than my usual...
What is the price estimate?
3.3 million euro
@@rogiervdheide Why similiar Aluminium yachts costs 10+ million? This isn't aluminium right?
friend, turn on the Russian subtitles, and everyone else too, not everyone knows English; subtitles are needed in order to watch your videos on TV)
It looks like a big condo built by IKEA on the inside.
Put a toilet in the sail locker ill give u $500 a month…dayum
Prefer the old 76! 🤷🏻♂️
So schön ... schade, dass ich lediglich alles vollkotzen würde 🤢
stiff sofa"s. no loungy feel.
Jeeze Toby's looking rough
Jeeze thanks!
It’s why people on TV spend time in a makeup chair before going on camera.
@@yachtingworld Toby?! Is that you?
quit NOW Boom furling on a boat like that is not safe!!! QUIT NOW CNB!!!!
You have got to be kidding me. It looks absolutely f****ing appalling. The killer mainsheet in the cockpit for those spontaneous head injuries when gybing or reefing is particularly appealing. Plus the deck with no handholds or safety features will become useless once 2m outside a marina. This thing is in no way seaworthy in any sense. It's dangerous. How about a review instead of fanboy nonsense. You should know better. Look at what happened to the - now dead - couple on the CNB 66 and look at the similarities of this ridiculous example of form over function. It's very pretty, but it's very sh*t
Yes please.
