Not only is it harder to find high quality, non-echoed versions of the originals, but it wouldn't fit in as well with HGSS. The reason GB sounds has that distinctive ring is from the acoustics, which are fit to the DS, much like those of HGSS, and so the remix is allowed to have acoustic cohesion.

GB sound are just midi like 8bit it cool, doesn’t work for HGSS and it definitely not the same as GSC sound. I mean GB sound could have used for Sinnoh and Black and White 1 and 2.
