Try Carrefour grocery store. They are big and carry everything. They have same prices in each store so Monaco has to charge same price as any other store in France.
Which is absolutely correct of them. If you’re going to move to a new country you should speak the language that is spoken there and not expect everyone else to learn English for you.
@@choosey87 Yes and no. Everyone learns english however outside of the largest cities there are few opportunities to speak it. As a result it is natural most forget how to speak it well. Moreover older people generally had worse english class since competent english teachers were rarer. It is not, in most casea choice to be rude to or annoy foreigners.

Uh idk carrefour is my go-to, as I have just moved to France with my family... saw you three + dog on the plane there, and further met up later! Awesome family, keep at it. If this comment seems creepy, just ah, Elyse and Patrick?
It's not an obvious thing for everyone. There are quite a few places in the world where enough people speak English you can easily get away with not knowing the local language. Germany, Switzerland, Czech republic...
you should avoid using two different musics at the same time it's awkward to hear... also these insights might be different in some areas of France, for example Paris is famous for being very rude and fast paced
Why do you wish you knew this before moving ???? Its all over the internet just look it up ,no mystery here ,except for americans who disvover that France is not part of the US.
