About The Show:
Only months into their marriage, Jamie (Helen Hunt) and Paul (Paul Reiser) Buchman already find themselves struggling to establish the ground rules for a life together in their Greenwich Village apartment. Charming and creative, documentary filmmaker Paul is also cautious and analytical, while up-and-coming public relations executive Jamie is a freer spirit, although one who harbors her own share of anxieties. Along with Jamie's luckless sister Lisa (Anne Ramsay), Paul's bachelor cousin Ira (John Pankow), and their close friends Dr. Mark Devanow (Richard Kind) and his wife Fran (Leila Kenzle), the Buchmans approach their life together with honesty, charm and humor in the face of the challenges posed by demanding careers, meddling families, former lovers, well-meaning friends and even their dog, Murray.

"You're some kind of mom" LMFAO, it's still hilarious. Paul and Jamie always suck when it comes to giving stuff to each other😂 (s3 episode 23). The good thing is that they still love each other😂😂

20 years later and one of my favorite scenes from MAY was their painting their kitchen and Jamie says she can ask her ex, Sherman [Williams]. And Paul thought she meant Sherwin Williams the painting company 😂🤣😂🤣

Looooove this show! Bought and binge-watched the whole thing. Their break-up made me question whether having love was worth it. But then they came back together and had Mabel.
Series ending made me cry. End of an era. So well written and acted. You wished they were together in real life. ❤

Heyyyy!!! Ha Ha. Long time no see. My first impression when I saw this ‘Hey, I know you two!’ 😄 I used to watch them every now and then growing up until a few years back.. love the opening theme song. Sing it sometimes or tap it anywhere. 😁

Helen Hunt was my first crush growing up. I thought she was stunning, funny and caring. Loved this show. Wish TV was more like this now a days. Mad About you, Seinfeld, Home Improvement, Step by Step, Family matters, Blossom, Roseanne, etc all great tv shows and now all we have is reality tv.

I only came here to say.....whoever thinks this show was ever funny, then or now, is an idiot, or best case, you have low standards in comedy and live an extremely boring life. I lasted 35sec into this and agree with the baby....the baby's expression says it all....'if I shit myself in a fountain pen and mailed it to the monkey house, I get better writing!!!' No wonder Paul Reiser is a loser and Helen Hunt lives on an island....no one wants em.
