The Sessions. I thought she was so comfortable and learned later she was very uncomfortable… always loved Helen.

My wife and I would have watched the new Mad About You if we'd had any idea it even existed. How do you expect a series to be successful at all when you run it on a streaming service that no one's ever heard of??
I watched it on Amazon Prime. It was pretty good.
That's probably why it wasn't successful. I don't think the studio wanted it to be and wouldn't promote it or back it the way they did other reboots like Will & Grace.

She was superb, Oscar worthy & every bit as good as Jack in As Good As It Gets..... a very well acted movie by all concerned.

I was 11 when I saw her in Twister on the big screen, and my parents used to watch her in Mad About You... back in the 90's. Sigh...
I will always have the memories and prior works of one of my favorite actresses to revisit.

Her and Sean Bean were written out of the new series.
She made enough money from just that last season on "Mad about You" and the movie "Twister" that she didn't need to worry about what roles to take or if she ever was gonna get any roles, she is just focusing on the craft of acting and directing now.

I can’t recall the movie that I saw her in after quite a few years didn’t even recognize her at first.
Most likely bad mouthed and kicked in the ass by the influential ex director. I've always thought she had a way about her....where you just connect with her in everything she does. Goes to show her strength. Just keep pushing through Helen...don't stop.
Twister was written by Michael Crichton, talent & ability so it's no wonder the studios passed
I loved And Then She Found Me. It is one of the few films about Jewish American Women that is very good and very much nails the issues that Jewish Woman have. I am Jewish and I appreciate that she got it right. I had no idea when I saw this film that Ms Hunt has Jewish Ancestry. The Jewish Elements in the film were done well. Often Jewish People are portrayed on film very badly. And I can say as an actor that the fact that as a woman in an Industry that men control she is directing and creating her own projects, she doing a fine job. I am not crazy about this slam job that you are doing on this woman.

I liked the lady windermeres fan adaptation. Hunt was ok but they did cool things with the play which makes it worth a watch
The nail on the coffin for Twister sequels was the death of Bill Paxton. Hollywood should know by now that if you go woke, you go broke. Just watch Disney implode. Helen Hunt is a good actress. She chose a lot of good roles but she is only remembered for the bad ones. She is one of the only ones who has not had plastic surgery to stay young and not look like herself. She does look good as an older actress. Which is exactly what I would expect her to be, based on her womens rights stance.

I agree so much!!!! I hate to say it, but a big reason for her career downfall is horrible plastic surgery. She doesn't look like the same person... Even if she wasn't aging well, she could still have built off her "look", that had character, and she was able to act with it... But, she seems like a good person, and I'm glad for her that finances will never be an issue...

This does happen to all women everywhere, the wrinkles, but the woman of Hollywoid have found a way to make them disappear from 30 to 90 nary a wrinkle one. It's actually too funny. You know they are 75 and they look younger than their grandchildren. YOU turn on a soap opera you haven't seen in years and all you can say is Jesus God! To be honest her Oscar win came from a pretty flimsy film and relatively easy to play character and put her in a range where she really shouldn't have been.
