After finding your channel it has brought back memories of my coin collecting from when I was a child in the 70’s I got my autistic teenager daughter to check her purse today and she found her first coin, it was a 1998 European Union 50p, she was chuffed to bits, she can’t wait to find more coins 😊

Such a nice find! I think I'd pass out if I found a Kew Gardens haha. I work in retail and my "hunts" are just me spying coins when serving customers on the tills, and then I ask my boss if I can pretty pretty please swap lol. Doubt I'll ever find a Kew hunting that way, but I've found a lot of common ones and some nice ones - Judo, Football, and my first ever coin I added to my collection (although I didn't realise at the time) was a Benjamin Bunny rotation error. I unfortunately haven't been finding many coins recently, although last week I found a Navy Centenary £2, so I was chuffed to finally add that to my book.
Amazing - well done Christopher! I had a good hunt this week with 4 olympics (cycling, fencing, modern pentathlon and wrestling) all in a £250 bag but I’d take the Kew any day! 👏🏻

Fantastic! Haven't watched for a while, but glad I did today. This week I found an Atlantic Salmon 50p with the King's head on in the work till, so I bought it off them straight away (for 50p of course), and that is part of a whole set of coins I'm going to have to collect now!

I am absolutely thrilled for you that you found another Kew, amazing! But I’m also secretly a bit gutted that it just leapt out at you like it did! I always enjoyed it when you seen the obverse side first and then have to build yourself up with anticipation that it might be Kew. It would have been extra special if when you flipped it, it was a Kew and not Commonwealth games or WWF!
I saw the title then saw the obverse in the thumbnail and I was like, I haven't even found one yet let alone finding one for the first time in years. 😂 Now imagine you come across a bag of them.
