A standing desk is nice. Even if you don't plan to stand a lot of the time it is great to be able to once in a while, and just the ability to slightly adjust the height for better posture when sitting is also great. I have also appreciated table mounted monitor arms that clear out some space on the desk as you get rid of the legs.

Going to have to disagree on the curve monitor take. It’s relevant depending on the size and your use case and how close you sit to the screen. 27” and smaller probably unnecessary, but start getting larger and it’s just an overall better experience unless you sit more than 4 feet from your monitor. Curved TVs for example are absolutely a gimmick, you sit too far away for them to be useful.
Just returned £400 worth of audio equipment because it either was not functional or I don’t know how to function with it, counting on your audio section here to shed some light.
Your audio stuff is really antiquated, you need to look into chi-fi. Really high end audio thats dirt cheap as its not name brand. You can get a fifine dynamic microphone that is USB-C or XLR input, and sounds 90% of a SM7-B for $70. Its a good place to start as it can grow with you, as it works with or without an audio interface. Also your mouse is C-tier.
It's a great budget mic alternative, but i prefer the sound of the sm7b. Imo as soon as you enter XLR setups you might as well commit fully. I'd been using a usb mic for several years with no complaints prior, so high end audio snobbery is definitely not the indicator of success. My c tier mouse as you cal it is not holding me back in any way.
If your going to upgrade to windows 11 make sure you check your computer specs. It took a few hours and it was a pain in the @$$ to get windows 11 to work on my old rig
I would just avoid windows 10 tbh, nothing worth upgrading for, I would reccomend atlas if you are going to go windows 10/11, it rips out a lot of the bloat so that cpu/ram usage isn't as high and windows cannot collect as much info.
Adobe pro, swapped recently from the ever crashing Sony vegas. I used to use windows movie maker up to 100k subs tho lol! Learning a pro software is worth the time investment imo.
@19:10 Curved monitors DO make a difference. Your eyes can only focus at one point. The edges of a straight monitor will cause eye strain because you will notice the small movements in the corners of the screen. With a curved screen, at the right distance, your eyes do not need to refocus just to see the corners.
That's why I showed the cheaper alternatives I started with. I can promise you the experience stuff is worth the cost for quality, but you can also make a successful TH-cam channel with just a laptop.
