Restoring 90 year old Record No.53 Woodworking Vice

Hello Everyone
In this video I will be restoring very old Record No.53 from 1930's. I believe this is the bigger vice Record produced.
I am missing quick release mechanism for this vice but I will make it work without it for time being until I make the mechanism.

v nice work...when i do mine, im gonna leave that patina after cleaning, so no paint needed, maybe some owatrol oil...thx for sharing👍

That was my plan to leave it as it is but had to paint because it is going to be on my bench outdoors.
