Lot of aspects I like about this game but still on the fence. Too many projects launched, will have to really think about what to back. Madcala, Dice Throne, Flock Together, and Tend are all on the list and November hasn’t even started yet!
thanks for the review! Watching the gameplay... I'm a tad worried it feels like a solo game, you play with others.... outside of sharing with neighbors, and end game scoring where highest points wins... How does the game feel playing TOGETHER? Thanks for your thoughts
You hit on this a bit in 6 minutes. Maybe that's all I need to know. I have a large family. There would be a lot of occasions for us to play 12 players. Do you think what you describe increases social anarchy in peeking at others boards and jumping around excited? (That would be a good thing for our fam. We love to jump around and interact while at the same time working to beat each other)
Yeah, it is a solitaire Ish experience but you are kind of racing each other so it feels like to complete different things so there’s definitely that competitive family dynamic where you’re like oh you’re going down I upgraded my lures and I’m fishing all over the place and catching fish and you’re over there Trying to plant your plants and make you eggs hahah I will say that there’s probably gonna be a lot of analysis paralysis, but it is a super fun vibrant game that can play 10-12 people if you’d like, I also have a massive family
@ could you see yourself playing this with 12. Part of me thinks would be wild. And another part thinks it would be INSANE 😅 Thanks for the reply. Just super backed it
You can play a lot of times they give a huge amount of sheets and yes the scratch of thing is gimmicky but it’s a blast and a ton of fun in my opinion.
100s. Its not a gimmick. EVERY roll and write has sheets you use up. Less than 1% of the playerbase of ANY AND ALL of these games play the 100s of times required to use every sheet. You can also use the phone app. OR pay like $10 to buy another set of 100s of games. Is the gaming community really this fucking stupid? Are you not able to see how a non-resuable paper sheet is NOT any different than a non-reusable scratch off when it comes to using them all??? How do yall even learn how to play games if something this basic blows your stupid little minds?
What a great overview!!!
Thank you sooo much!!!
IV does such a great job with their games.

@JeffKuhn that’s exactly what I thought too
Scratch off components seems like a gimmick. And how many times is the game playable before they are all used up?
