I know I’m late, but my dad was a free mason. I remember going to the lodge as a kid when they would do get togethers when a brother would go up in rank. He could invite his family, they’d all make their “homemade chili” that was never really good. Then sometimes they’d do summer fairs with local businesses. My dad was all the way up to 32 and that’s the highest he could go in Ohio. He thought he could get in the Illuminati, that was his original plan. But to go to Washington, and get to a higher rank, you have to be chosen. When my dad passed away, they donated 12 thousand to our family for funeral costs. They also go college grants! I do really believe in the Free Masons. It’s a good brotherhood and I’m proud my dad was a part of it. No lizard people in Ohio tho.

But Ohio isn’t all farms, it’s got major cities and then suburbs from those cities. But a great deal of the empty space between cities is all farm land. We are the roller coaster capital though! If you want some real sick ass coasters then I would recommend visiting. There’s a lot of metro parks to drown out the boring parts. And Lake Erie is kind of cool. But Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati are all our bigger cities and are pretty fun to explore. Ohio is actually developing a lot, I work construction and it seems that the farms here and getting bought out and housing developments are taking over.

His band marches in parades (which they get paid for ) that money is then donated to the Shriners Children's hospital. They raise thousands of dollars a year. "They march so children can walk" The free masons, as I understand it is just a group of men coming together (mostly to get out of the house and eat a chicken dinner) trying to better their community. They gather donations to give to the children's hospital. The only thing "secret" about them in there secret handshake and passwords. Both my father and brother are part of the brotherhood. My father is a free mason and I remember them doing a lot of things for charity/the community, while I was growing up but they were always super secretive about their meetings and goals. I still don’t know much about it myself. I’ve also been inside one or two of their lodges before.

My grandfather was a Free Mason for a short time. He and my grandmother owned a business and he thought they could build connections to help grow the business. When he died he we found his 'uniform' that he had kept from that time amongst his belongings. Also a member of the church where I sang in the choir was a Free Mason, and a few years ago our local Masonic Lodge invited us to sing at their Christmas carol service. We were in the temple inside to sing and it was a very interesting experience. There were lots of eyes everywhere and I wonder if that has had any influence on illuminati mythology. They even fed us by letting us have some of the extravagent buffet they held, but we were in a back room. Even then we had like.... waiters bringing us things and checking in on us. It was a crazy amount too, roughly $250,000 if I remember correctly since it’s been about 8 years ago. Moral of the story - I didn’t learn the secrets of the universe, but I did learn that if you bring together a lot of old rich men they become 12 year old boys trapped in decaying bodies.

Ahaha, I can’t believe you guys brought up Pentecostals or “Church of God with Signs Following.” I’m from the south, North Carolina more specifically, and it’s a thing. To my knowledge I’ve never met a Pentecostal church goer, and people in this area who aren’t apart of that church kind of joke about them too. My sister went to one of their churches once while doing some kind of project in college (she mastered in Divinity) and she didn’t get to see any snakes, but she did get to see them speak in tongues. As for feet washing, that’s actually not an unusual practice for Protestant churches in the south. Even a “normal” baptist may do it. I haven’t been to church in years, so any dink Fam can chime in if they remember better than me, but somewhere in the Bible there’s a passage about a woman washing Jesus’s feet and then him washing her feet directly after even though he was a holy figure, he was being humble and returning the favor. And back in those days, people’s feet got really dirty walking around barefoot or in sandals, so feet washing was a thing. So churches doing it nowadays is a way of showing Jesus’s love or something. At least it’s actually a bible reference unlike the weird snake shit. In my area we also have another weird church cult called “Word of Faith” and they actually assaulted one on my former classmates because he’s gay and they thought they could beat the demons out of him. Gotta love the southern church cults.
My Step Dad is a free mason. Literally they meet for tradition but they mostly focus on charities and shit like that. For example, if you’ve ever heard of Shriners, they are also masons. The Shriner burn hospitals for children are a gigantic example of the time and effort they put into helping people. I’ve even been to Shriner meeting houses. It’s just a bunch of guys doing some great things, I think.
I may be biased but all of my family is going involved in freemasonry. I was in one of the youth orders and am a current member of Eastern Star which is for women and masons. I'm just so happy that they painted them in such a positive light, which doesn't always happen.

My older sister joined at 11 and she's 3 years older than me so I would hang out with all of them when i was little. Our dad was a freemason for a decade or so. We spent a lot of time with the Masons and Scottish Rite. I also went to a Shriner's hospital when i was little for some knee issues. Really great organizations.

Every year they release an insanely cryptic and hard hunt/puzzle/code cracking challenge and if you finish it you get invited to join them. My father is a free mason and I remember them doing a lot of things for charity/the community, while I was growing up but they were always super secretive about their meetings and goals. I still don’t know much about it myself. I’ve also been inside one or two of their lodges before.
My step dad is a free mason and I can guarantee nothing exciting happens. They have a secret hand shake and passwords like a little kid in a treehouse with a sign that says no girls allowed. Other than that they just drink a lot of beer and hang out.

Rafael Collado there are ranks, I don't know that much because he isn't allowed to talk about it, but what he's said is that at certain ranks you get to wear the Masonic ring and so it's like each rank you have more privileges I think. I think the most conspiracies come out of the fact that if a mason sees another mason they'd probably help them out more than the average person. Like for example here if a cop is a free mason and they pull someone over and realize they have the ring they'd be wayyyy more likely to give them a warning instead of a ticket.

My grandfather was a Free Mason for a short time. He and my grandmother owned a business and he thought they could build connections to help grow the business. When he died he we found his 'uniform' that he had kept from that time amongst his belongings. Also a member of the church where I sang in the choir was a Free Mason, and a few years ago our local Masonic Lodge invited us to sing at their Christmas carol service. We were in the temple inside to sing and it was a very interesting experience. There were lots of eyes everywhere and I wonder if that has had any influence on illuminati mythology. They even fed us by letting us have some of the extravagent buffet they held, but we were in a back room. Even then we had like.... waiters bringing us things and checking in on us. A very patriarchal society though, wives weren't allowed to enter several areas of the building. They do donate a lot of money to the local area though.

I don’t remember a lot of the details. I was about 10 or 11 when I met her and this happened when I was 12 or 13 I think. I just remember she was super sweet and seemed really normal and I guess like my brother says it happened over night.
My uncle was very open about the fact that he was a Freemason while he was alive. He had a lot of money, and would go to Freemason “events” every couple of months. He even let me come with him once when I was about 17. I was so excited thinking it was going to be some secret stuff, but it ended up being a bunch of rich older men using it as an excuse to have fun. They had stupid games and someone brought a donkey - A FUCKIN’ DONKEY. However, while they were doing shenanigans they were also betting on the outcomes of all the stupid games they were playing and at the end of the night they piled all the money together they had used to bet and were donating it to a local children’s hospital. It was a crazy amount too, roughly $250,000 if I remember correctly since it’s been about 8 years ago. Moral of the story - I didn’t learn the secrets of the universe, but I did learn that if you bring together a lot of old rich men they become 12 year old boys trapped in decaying bodies.

Hey. I was born into the religion of Eckankar and practiced pretty much up till college when life stuff got busy and in the way of maintaining religious practices. It’s not a secret society. Just a smaller religion. It’s philosophy is definitely a mix of mysticism and Eastern influence sprinkled with some hippy positive vibes, but it’s core teachings are based on the perspective of approaching life and lessons from a place of love and recognising the ‘divine love’ in all things. Ahaha, I can’t believe you guys brought up Pentecostals or “Church of God with Signs Following.” I’m from the south, North Carolina more specifically, and it’s a thing. To my knowledge I’ve never met a Pentecostal church goer, and people in this area who aren’t apart of that church kind of joke about them too.
My sister went to one of their churches once while doing some kind of project in college (she mastered in Divinity) and she didn’t get to see any snakes, but she did get to see them speak in tongues.
As for feet washing, that’s actually not an unusual practice for Protestant churches in the south. Even a “normal” baptist may do it. I haven’t been to church in years, so any dink Fam can chime in if they remember better than me, but somewhere in the Bible there’s a passage about a woman washing Jesus’s feet and then him washing her feet directly after even though he was a holy figure, he was being humble and returning the favor. And back in those days, people’s feet got really dirty walking around barefoot or in sandals, so feet washing was a thing. So churches doing it nowadays is a way of showing Jesus’s love or something. At least it’s actually a bible reference unlike the weird snake shit.
In my area we also have another weird church cult called “Word of Faith” and they actually assaulted one on my former classmates because he’s gay and they thought they could beat the demons out of him. Gotta love the southern church cults.

My Step Dad is a free mason. Literally they meet for tradition but they mostly focus on charities and shit like that. For example, if you’ve ever heard of Shriners, they are also masons. The Shriner burn hospitals for children are a gigantic example of the time and effort they put into helping people. I’ve even been to Shriner meeting houses. It’s just a bunch of guys doing some great things, I think.

I may be biased but all of my family is going involved in freemasonry. I was in one of the youth orders and am a current member of Eastern Star which is for women and masons. I'm just so happy that they painted them in such a positive light, which doesn't always happen.

My older sister joined at 11 and she's 3 years older than me so I would hang out with all of them when i was little. Our dad was a freemason for a decade or so. We spent a lot of time with the Masons and Scottish Rite. I also went to a Shriner's hospital when i was little for some knee issues. Really great organizations.
