Fertilizing Grass Hay

Today we took advantage of the forecast rain and spread some fertilizer. The granular fertilizer was applied at a ratio of 26-20-5. A fairly self explanatory job, spreading fertilizer is absolutely necessary to keep nutrient levels of the soil at a proper level. Without good soil composition the yield suffers greatly as can be seen in my first cutting this year. Hopefully this fertilization will get us back on track for the remainder of the year and better prepare us for next summer. As always, thanks for watching and enjoy!
