- On this episode of the BuildWitt Vlog, Aaron, Ben Schwanberg, and Matt set off to go visit one of the BuildWitt partners: Muschlitz Excavating. It was a full day. They got to see Ralph Rich operate a CAT 390, then went to see some paving and pipework, and finally ended the day by messing around with Muschlitz's new CAT 395.

The company I work for picked up a new 395 this year and we also run 2 - 390s and have 2- komatsu pc 800s. They are pretty cool to watch.
How do they like operating the 395?

Those are huge! I own a 306 and love it, but it would be so awesome to run a 395!
The bigger they get the slower they are my favourite excavator is a EX1200 it's still reasonably fast but the EX 2500 and EX3600 are slow but the 35 cubic yard bucket makes up for it
@@garykemp6436 True, but only in general. I am lucky enough to operate a komatsu PC50 and Doosan DX140 on our farm, and let me tell you, the Doosan moves way faster. Both excellent machines, but after learning on the smaller one, buying a bigger digger which is also twitchier was quite a surprise.
@@davidgrowsdragonfruit5301 but you are still only talking small excavators 14 tonnes is tiny compared to the 120 tonnes and it is small to the 360 tonne EX360

Time for a 6015B
That’s my dream machine! I’ve ran a 385 for about 2 weeks but the 6015 to me is just the ultimate big iron excavator.
395 will out dig a 6051.
And it’s cheaper.

I've watched several of your videos. I still don't understand what your job is. You Also come off as slightly arrogant, even though you don't do anything at these jobs. Stop playing music too. I'd rather hear machines humming and working. You have potential with the channel, but be more personable. Talk with others more.
