We had a chat with you both there, a very enjoyable video of a great show. Always some good finds in the autojumble there too!

Autojumbles are dangerous places when trying to tidy the garage at home ...

Great vid as always ...In the 1960s my Dad gave me his Raleigh runaround moped, that I used for collage, then work. Often traveling twenty miles each-way. I went on holiday on it from Birmingham to Wales. Rode it all through the forestry commission tracks in the middle of nowhere. I would tell my Dad where I had been and he would follow my directions and drawings. Happy Times ...

Thanks John, I wouldn't rule out a Runabout joining one of our sheds before long!

Yes, the round Gabriel things were shock dampeners. Thanks for such a wide variety show.

    Fantastic.
I’m still liking that light blue Cortina MK-2.

Loved the nostalgic interior of the Scotts Greys coach and I remember so well the quilted engine covers. The Raleigh Shopper "rings a bell" was a terrible pun! The GPO van was a real little belter. What a beauty that Triumph Renown was, and such better proportions than the Mayflower. In days gone by it was "come upstairs to see my etchings", but I suppose your Youthful Assistant will be saying "come into my shed to see my oil can collection"?!

Great Vlog!! I had a mid-grey 1949 Standard Vanguard in 1965. Bought it for £50 and it did alright until it had an argument with a Post Office van a year later!! Used to roll a bit on the bends - quite a lot actually!!!!🤣

Great video of commercials. They remind me of my Corgi and Dinky toy examples. Thanks for doing the rounds. Minor amendment: I believe "The Italian Job" was 1969.😊

I am also a fan of the Bedford OB, as our school bus operator ran 2 during the 1960’s as part of his fleet of assorted Bedfords. The sound effects from the gearbox have stuck with me, together with the sound of the 6 cylinder Bedford petrol engine.

Rrichard - just the thing to watch on a stormy night in the NE. Yet more treasured memories - the sight, sounds and even smells of the lorries that were around when I was growing up. On the subject of motorcycles the wall of death made me think of an afternoon at Newcastle's famous Hoppings fair on the Town Moor. I was 15 but already had a good knowledge of classic bikes which was put to good use at the wall of death. Being midweek it was quiet and I got chatting to the owner. I correctly identified a 1915 Indian with its quarter eleptic front fork arrangement. This imppressed him so much he said that I could have a go! I said that I'd never ridden anything else but a wait for it - CWS bicycle! He said I'd be fine as the bike only had one gear and wasn't fast. I politely refused so he gave me a free demonstration of his skills and planted the seed of classic motorcycle ownership which I didn't fulfill until I was in my 40s! Might I suggest a BSA Bantam D1 as your possible starter classic and you could take it to shows in Little Dodge

Ha my youthful assistant is making noises about owning a D1 sometime, personally I preferred the old Velo that we owned for a while (previously owned by a late uncle), now that was a fine looking & sounding old 'bike.

Great video once again! British buses were so much better presented than the buses here in Australia - so much extra chrome embellishment etc. As a one time owner of various bikes including an Ariel Square Four I loved the bike section.

We were at a museum collection the other day, and there was an amazing Oz-bodied double-decker bus on show

    1:08:50 - I think they're primitive dampers (think shock-absorbers)...

Way back my late dad bought a J.P. mower around 1957 just like the one shown but a narrower cut, eventually replacing it with an Atco motor mower which I still have. We also have a Webb push mower which my wife bought at an auction because no one else wanted it.

Hi Richard. Love this video. I mentioned to you about the Daimler Freeline buses here in New Zealand where I lived in the city of Auckland , we had Bedford SB3 models in the 1950s / 60s too. Inside the top part of the window could be slid across to let in air for the passengers. Also there was a cord that the passengers would pull on to let the bus driver know when you wanted to get off at the next bus stop. When the cord was pulled it would make a buzz sound. It's all very funny thinking about it now. 😊 . Thanks for your video.

Ahh my Raleigh Roma scooter in the foreground, single cylinder 2 stroke 80cc, about the most unreliable motorized device I have ever owned (bought new in 1961 or 62), the Polish built Jawa scooter in the background was much better, could tell some stories around that!!! The engine from the E83W van ended up in an Armstrong Sidderley Tourer (1934-5) went well that did, no annoying MoT niggles back then, OCC Rick's Dad was infected back then by a need to fiddle with all thing mechanical be they fitted with wings or wheels!!
