Just saw this on TV in my hotel room. Such a well-conceived, touching, relatable and effective commercial for 1 minute 30 seconds. Whether you fly Eco, Business or First Class, SA flights and their crews are world-class and really do mirror this commercial and their hospitality remains one of the gold standards of commercial air travel.

I just watched this ad again and it's almost putting tears in my eyes. TBWA's team is continuing Batey Ads' legacy. Now, as I do my work, I have this ad on loop. 🥰
I amazing that this one item is the most noticeable but it is. SIA appear to be blind to the fact that it's those little things that go towards making the experience memorable. Their once great high standard has sadly slipped. No gushing video makes up for a decline in onboard service. Lift your game Singapore Airline, you've given us a reason to start looking at what the competitors are offering.
we now make it a habit to use Singapore Airlines. My husband has used them 30 years now but he has a few mobility problems and a few months ago we flew Singapore to BKK and it was so seamless especially the wheelchair assistance at the airports.
I have always wanted to fly Singapore Airlines since I saw the first Singapore Girl television ad. I've flown to Southeast Asia four times in the past five years. I've flown with China Air, Vietnam Airlines, Eva Air, Asiana, and Singapore Airlines. I'm now traveling back to Vietnam and I chose to fly with Singapore Airlines again.
So far Only one stewardess in green has maintain her professionalism! She greeted me with such humility and gentleness. Not sure she was going to fly or just returned! Very elegant lady It reflects her beautiful character!

Am flying Business Class to Europe in May and cannot wait to experience that legendary service. Worked for MH many years ago and it saddens me greatly to hear such comments. Given that they have suffered two incomprehensible tragedies over the years, they surely need support rather than brickbats.
It’s my go to airline, which I can remember flying since 1983 when I was a young boy taking those long return trips Heathrow to Singapore as an SIA “Young Passenger” (they give you an airplane shaped badge with your name on it, and you were allowed to visit the cockpit) travelling alone to come home and then returning to go back to boarding school. Now, 40 years later, I still fly SIA whenever I travel for work or holiday.
Flew them 8 years ago and have since flown with most big airlines of the world. SIA are still the best benchmark for hospitality. Keep up the good work

No offense, this is a horrible insight that drove this campaign. Where is the point of difference in this? Staffs of every other major airlines travel around the world and “bring back stories” too. What makes Singapore Airlines and it’s staff unique? If anything you marginalized what goes into Singapore Airlines becoming world class and you attributed it to something very achievable. To make this campaign better, this idea should have been tied to who they are as people, the Singapore DNA. This ad did Singapore Airlines a huge disservice imo.

It could have been blended in with Singaporeans unique perspective/culture/tradition of traveling the world to experience, learn and bring back stories to become world class, just to inject that much needed pod. You can’t make it all about how SA staff’s generic traveling the world and bringing back stories is what makes SA world class and then cya with one statement for a second at the end there, that’s not how a great and effective campaign works. Through this ad what do you think viewers would attribute to what makes SA world class? For me, holidays are starting, not when I arrive at my destination, but already when boarding on a SIA flight. And holidays are ending, not when leaving but arriving at the home airport. With no other airline I flew, I had that feeling of being in holidays the time I board an airplane. I can't really explain why - Its the way you are treated during a transfer from A to B.

At least tie this to the uniqueness of Singapore Airlines culture and Singaporeans way and approach to life to give some point of difference to this idea. p.s. One of the best airlines you'll ever go on. I had the opportunity to travel with Singapore Airlines and its a perfect 10 out of 10. The Cabin crew was the friendliest and compassionate. The service midflight was 5 star. Thankyou Singapore Airlines for an experience of a lifetime. Recommendation would always be a 100%.
Thats why i will always choose to fly with Singapore Airlines , its the cabin crew's attitude and comfort that will always be a cut above the rest. Thank you Singapore Airlines.

Hi SQ, Heard some wonderful comments from my relatives and friends, hoping that one day I could get the chance to fly with you or perhaps even get the chance to work with you? Though presently you don't operate in my country, maybe one day, wishing you many happy and successful Takeoffs and many Prosperous landings. I anticipate the day I may board your aircraft's and fly on one of your many destinations.
I have flown with you many times and I love this airline. I am going to Europe next year and if I fly to Paris with Singapore I can only return from Athens with Scoot. Unfortunately it's not an option to return on that airline (and leg room is poor for taller people like me). So next trip I regrettably have to find another airline.
I did fly with countless airlines. Singapore Airlines is the best. Before I was in awe about most of Arabic airlines, but when I did try Singapore Airlines i did not want to leave the air craft after landing. "Sarong Kebaya" dress is the most beautiful uniform in any airlines and flight attendants are the most kind angels. The pilots most professional. If You ever have a choice, choose Singapore Airlines! It does not matter if economy or business or first class, You will feel better on the plane than on the ground.
I took a break from travelling since our lockdown in Apr 2020. I can't wait to fly on my favourite homegrown Singapore airlines again for my April 2023 trip. Woohoo. Finally, after 3 years.

Hi SQ, Heard some wonderful comments from my relatives and friends, hoping that one day I could get the chance to fly with you or perhaps even get the chance to work with you? Though presently you don't operate in my country, maybe one day, wishing you many happy and successful Takeoffs and many Prosperous landings. I anticipate the day I may board your aircraft's and fly on one of your many destinations.
I have flown with you many times and I love this airline. I am going to Europe next year and if I fly to Paris with Singapore I can only return from Athens with Scoot. Unfortunately it's not an option to return on that airline (and leg room is poor for taller people like me). So next trip I regrettably have to find another airline.
Although a "bit" chauvinistic in the way they recruit cabin crew ... they do not try to hide it - and, I am the target audience so I approve! :D
I've never had an issue flying business, but have heard and read horrendous stories in economy.

I did fly with countless airlines. Singapore Airlines is the best. Before I was in awe about most of Arabic airlines, but when I did try Singapore Airlines i did not want to leave the air craft after landing. "Sarong Kebaya" dress is the most beautiful uniform in any airlines and flight attendants are the most kind angels. The pilots most professional. If You ever have a choice, choose Singapore Airlines!
It does not matter if economy or business or first class, You will feel better on the plane than on the ground.

I took a break from travelling since our lockdown in Apr 2020. I can't wait to fly on my favourite homegrown Singapore airlines again for my April 2023 trip. Woohoo. Finally, after 3 years.
