It is also a role in the game (just as healer and tank and controller) whose purpose is just to deal as much damage as possible. PvP=Player vs Player, in this game there are battlegrounds where two teams fight eachother on special maps and some server has open world PvP, which means that you can kill anyone anywhere in the world, it is really fun.
You played this game in the beginning of 2011 and didn't like sorcery PvP? Dude back then a guy with transmutation (normal skill doesn't require supercharge) could whipe out an entire enemy team if you spammed it some times and also used your 100% supercharge. Sorcery was the best power back then.

No bow,flight and Fire/ice/nature/sorcery is a realy good combo long distance combat u hang in the air maybe you heal a team mate

There's no best class, it depends on people who play on this class.
I was top team at lvl 20 sorcery w/ bow dps/heal.... You need to know how to roll with it.
