It’s crazy how the scope of the story is still increasing 1138 chapters in. Oda is perhaps one of the most visionary authors I’ve ever read

"They" are most definitely the two rulers the Sea Kings talked about in chapter 968 - the Sun God (Luffy) & the Mermaid Princess (Shirahoshi).

Adding oil to the fire by sharing Tokis last words here😁 “the Moon, you are ignorant of the Dawn. If there is one ardent wish that must be fufilled, it will be when nine shadows are cast woven together through twenty years of moonlits nights. Only then shall you understand the radiance of Dawn”

The fact it's now OFFICALLY confirmed that Shanks is a Celestial Dragon it makes it even more interesting that he had the Nika fruit that Luffy ate and just let him have it.

    Fun fact:
The God of the Land(Earth), God of the Sun, God of the Rain(Sea), and God of the Forest in this poem of all three worlds were ALREADY first mentioned in the Noland flashback way back in Skypiea 🤯
When Calgara was sacrificing his daughter to the sea beast and others were praying for forgiveness so these 4 Gods were mentioned in the prayers.
It's the same arc where we learn of races from moon like shandorians, birkans, etc who took refuge on earth and also from enel's cover story, we see the Ark Maxim which enel recreated to go to moon and we see it here in the mural near the moon, these 4 gods first mentioned, etc. So basically this Skypiea arc is so damn important AGAIN as every new lore we get atleast in some way ties back to other previous arcs or Skypiea.

I think the Gods knights are "above" devil fruits, I think they could all be swordsmen (knights) and all of there swords are DF eaters and their slaves like Gunko. It could also be because they need to keep themselves "empty" with the hopes of being chosen by Imu because whatever devil Imu puts into them would react the same way as introducing another devil fruit. Blackbeard is also DEFINITELY getting that sword

I keep thinking back to when Rayleigh was talking to Robin at Sabody.
"Perhaps we, as well as Ohara, were too impatient. If I were to tell you the entire history here and now, its not like you could do anything the way you are now".
    1. The Mural/Harley feels like Oda gave us the corner pieces of the puzzle.
    2. I starting to get why Rayleigh is constantly drinking.

things are getting good, one thing i keep thinking about this mural is the three energy sparks on the off hand of the big Imu looking Deamon or earth god these are the same sparks that the moon had in the first part of the mural or the same stuff people were gathering to power the city.

7:40 are kidding me ?? it's so darn obvious that Shamrock will call another god (or holy or whatever) knight that i bet my life on it! :)
oh also Doflamingo is still imprisoned in impel down and i don't think that if god knights wanted to recruit him they would wait such a long time to do so.
8:19 you still haven't learned that Oda never kills anyone ?? Oda let them live so Luffy and the others can find them and speak with them it's as simple as that.

I think for Luffy being a little kid. It would make sense for Shanks to be very liberal with what he divulges to Luffy. And I think Luffy now would accept it, as he doesnt like talking about the past anyway. I just love how Luffy compares shanks to Bellemere to Nami. As it shows despite him not listening to her past back in Arlong park, he very much knows and recognizes how important Bellemere is to Nami

After 20+ years Blackbeard having the Cerberus fruit because of his jolly Roger can finally be put to rest 😂
Nice to get Confirmation Shamrock is a twin and not a clone ( Oda playing the good/evil dynamic between the brothers)
Almost 600 chapters later we'll finally find out the person who met Crocus guess we'll have to wait till the next chapter to see if the Scopper Gaban theories are right

On the right panel there are 19 people going to the elevator to carry the stars up to the city, if you include the king on Zunisha that is 20 people. That is the number who were there at the beginning of the World Government. So there is speculation that may be the people who overthrew the ancient kingdom.

    Here are my views
    1. perhaps Shanks and Mihawk's rivalry stems from them being trainee holy knights or squires and they both left to pursue each other
2 the fish in the mural could be from the Goldfish Empire from Hatchan's cover story
3 Gunko is actually Kidd and Killer's childhood crush Victoria who was named War Child as a codename because of the gangland war on her homeland
4 Laffite's fruit could be one of those angelic entities on the mural

If imu is the final villain depicted in the mural holding the sun/mother flame, then it's makes me wonder if blackbeard is either gonna be an ally or work alongside imu. That's another mystery that needs to be solved. Blackbeard's role might serve a purpose to the myth. His devil fruit feels like the antithesis to Nika's. It makes me wonder if the gorosei are the demons mentioned in the myth as well.

For the second world, do you think that half moon represents the people from wano and the full moon is the minks?
Does the mural show all the three worlds or just the first and second?
What i'm getting is that the first world happened in the earth and they escaped to the moon, the second world happened in the moon ( half moon people and full moon ) perhaps.

  • @SUNSTIANA
    @SUNSTIANA 2 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

i have a lot of thoughts and can't list them all but here few of my thoughts which i'm sure others already said. long talk ahead...
the first world is when the Redline was created, it might have been a living thing before and became a mountain or maybe not but the snake is most likely the redline and we already had theories about it but now it feels like it's kinda confirmed since even in little garden the giants referred to the redline as a red snake and it might be red because it symbolize the death of people and slaves from that time. which can fit perfectly with the theory that the redline will end up getting destroyed and thus bring destruction to everything such as fishmen island and bringing the world and all seas together. and basically destroy the world like the third world said but then it will bring peace and unity.
the second world is when the "god of the forest" became angry because with the creation or the redline and thus making the sea rise and cover most of the lands it became angry and mother nature in a sense created devil fruits to balance the world 'tho it also might be imu who is the one who created the DF because we see Zou and someone who looks like Imu on top of it so it might be somewhere after the first world when Imu appeared and thus Zou's crime happened because it looks like Zou is "controlled?" by Imu.
but one thing i noticed is why is Franky at the center. it might be oda just doing stuff but i had a thought that we see all weapons but Pluton. we see Posideon and Uranos "there's few ships and figures that could be Uranos tho like Arc Maxim" but we don't see Pluton so i had this thought that maybe where Franky is standing there is a Pluton but Oda is framing Franky in front of it because Franky IS Pluton or at least will have a part in it. it's a weird theory but Oda choosing to put Franky and framing him in the center is something interesting because Oda is very careful to how he frames characters and stuff. and Franky is the only person that knows about Pluton aside from Robin and they're both connected to it "water7"
great chapter and tbh i can talk about it for hours. i read it two days ago and i still think about it and have new theories. like i can talk for hours but i only wanted to share few of my ideas and i'm sure they're not new.
    side note.
people of the half moon is most likely the D clan and the full moon people are the Lunarian and if i'm remembering the words correctly , it said in the second world that the full moon dreamed and ascended to divinity so it might mean when the Lunarians were still living on the Redline because from my understanding the second world is not the void century, the void century happened at the end of the second of world so a lot of stuff happened at that time. so i personally don't think Imu was a player before the second world or the middle of it, not before.

Copypasting my interpretation of the poem which I posted on reddit
    First World:
*"The earth burned in endless flame, and in the hearts of men burned with desire"* - I think the Earth burning is a metaphor for war, the entire world was at war with one another fueled entirely by greed and other vices, hence the fire burning inside of the hearts of men
*"From whispered prayers, the sun God rose, beckoned by the slaves who reached for the forbidden star"* - Since Nika, the God of the sun is also the God of liberation, then we can equate the forbidden star as freedom (forbidden to them because they were slaves), I think this rising sun God is in actuality Imu (more on that later)
*"The God of the land was enraged, with a serpent of fire they cast the world into ruin"* - In this case the God of the land would be the dragon shown above the big tree on the mural (many believe this to be the Adam tree, but I actually think it's the Eve tree), while the "serpent of fire" is clearly the red line, although the world was not literally ruined, it was divided in two thanks to the red line
The God of the land would have been the big bad of the first world, similar to what Imu is today
*"Darkness fell, death reigned, they would not meet again"* - The first two lines I think just make reference to the fact everything went to shit, while I don't really have idea of who the third line could be referring to, alternatively I could also see the first two lines be a reference to Imu ascending to the throne
    ===============================================================
    Second World:
*"A breath stirred in the abyss, the God of the forest wove their magic, nurturing it's devils"* - the first lines makes reference to something big happening during the void century, that led to the creation of the devil fruits (it wouldn't be the void century back then, but let's remember that it's a prophecy text, so I think it's alluding to the fact that this process would be lost to history), I don't know who this God of the forest may be, I don't think they're represented in the mural, but I do think they're related to the age age fruit, Bonney's fruit, Bonney's fruit is about turning imagination into a reality, and we know that devil fruits were created by the dreams of men, so this forest God could have been a particularly powerful dreamer or something, I'm thinking the leader or someone important of the ancient kingdom
So if the sun God fruit could be disguised as the rubber fruit, I don't see why the forest God fruit couldn't be disguised as the age fruit
*"While the sun lit the embers of war, those of the half-moon and the full moon dreamed, yet the ones who slew the sun deified themselves"* - The sun that lit the embers of war is of course Joy Boy, while those of the half-moon refers to the D clan, and those of the fool moon may simply refer to the people of the ancient kingdom in general, the mention of their dreams again is about the devil fruits, they kept creating devil fruits presumably as weapons for the war, I think this ability may have been exclusive to the people of the ancient kingdom, which explains the following line "yet the ones who slew the sun deified themselves", this is of course about the celestial dragons, the word "yet" appearing after the word "dreamed" makes me think that this line is saying that "despite not having the power of their dreams, the allied kingdoms became Gods", which is what makes me think that the allied kingdoms didn't have the ability to create devil fruits
Here I call Joy Boy the sun God but earlier I called Imu the sun God, I will go into more details about that when we get to the mural
*"Evoking the wrath of the sea God, they would not meet again"* - Again, I have no clue what "they would not meet again" means, but the first part is pretty self explanatory, it talks of how the sea became an universal weakness to the devil fruits, there's something interesting here though, there's two part of the previous verse that may have caused the sea God's rage, the defeat of Joy Boy and the ascension of the celestial dragons, I believe that it was actually BOTH of these things that angered them
Let me explain, I believe in this case the sea God is referring to Nefertari D. Lili, why her? because she was a member of the 20 allied kingdoms, but she was also of the half-moon people being a D. and all, the fact that she fought against Joy Boy, but refused ascension as a celestial dragon tells me that she was dissatisfied with both factions for one reason or another, how she made the sea the bane of all users, I don't know, as for the why, I think it may be that she didn't want the power of dreams to become a weapon of war, so she gave them all a massive nerf, especially for the world they live in
Also she has blue hair and blue = water = sea
TL;DR, Nefertari D. Lili is the sea God, being part of the D. clan she had the ability to bring her dreams into reality, but she did not fight on their side, enraged by the outcome of the war and the actions of her allies she made the sea the natural weakness of the devil fruit users by an unknown method
    =============================================================
    Third world:
*"Chaos reigns; the world drifts in a void, yet time does not erase the memory of the promised day"* - Chaos is of course the World government, and there is again a reference to the void century, but I think this void specifically refers to a void of knowledge and technology, since so much of it was lost during the great war, the second line refers to the promise Joy Boy made to the mermaid princess, the promised day seems to refer to the upcoming great war
*"It's shadow looms as the voice of the half-moon echoes through the ages, and once more, the sun god shall rise- laughing dancing, guiding the world to its final act"* - The looming shadow again talks about the upcoming great war, and echo of the half-moon is the will of D., the rising sun god is Luffy, this whole verse and part of the last basically talks about how Luffy will bring upon the great war, aka "the final act", I think this means that this will be the war to end all wars, no more mayor conflicts after this, forever
*"The sun is reborn, a new dawn will break, surely, this time, they will meet"* - This again talks about how Luffy will bring the war to end all wars, and the new dawn is the same as the final act, we currently are in the third world, but after defeating the big bad it will be the beginning of a new era, the fourth world, so the new dawn the minks talk about is the fourth, and last world, no idea who will surely meet again

      y interpretation of the mural:
So I think the way this is structured is that everything to the right of Franky shows events from the first world, while everything to the left shows events from the second world, let's begin with the right side
      Right mural:
Let's start with the big tree, I've seen people saying that this is the Adam tree, but I just don't think that's right, mainly because there's multiple Adam trees like we learned a few chapters ago, while as far as we know the Eve tree is one of a kind, it's roots go all the way down to Fish-Man island, which is directly below the Red Line, this means that Eve goes through the Red Line, probably all the way to Mariejois, which would make it more than 20 kilometers tall, more than twice the size of mount Everest, so I think the big tree is Eve, I think this distinction is important because a big portion of this mural and of the first world poem revolves around the red line and it's creation
Next let's move on to the dragon and the serpent, I think this dragon is the big bad of the first world, while the big snake is the fiery serpent, aka the red line, they're both spewing fire together, and their reactions don't look particularly antagonistic, unlike the devil on the left mural who is seen scowling, I think this, and the fire of both creatures merging together, means that they are in cahoots
Next let's move on to the moon and the flying ship, the ship is basically identical to Enel's Ark Maxim, and it's even shooting a bolt of lightning (which I don't think means this is Uranus, simply that it can't work without electricity), I think this combo of moon and Ark Maxim represents the migration of the moon people down to the main One Piece world, we know that the Lunarians lived atop the Red Line, and the creation of the Red Line is shown on both the mural and the poem, we also know that Shandora was built 1,100 years ago, the Shandians are the only of the moon civilizations to make it below the white sea, and it would make sense if they had live in the clouds for some time before making the trek to the blue sea
The weird city with the gears I think might be Pluton, it was described by CP9 as an impossible ship once they saw the blueprints, so something that is clearly very technologically advanced coming from an ancient age I think might make sense to assume it's Pluton, tho I can't explain the space ship
Next let's talk about all the humanoid figures and the elevator thing, first I want to point out that there's 19 humans if you don't count the two figures bellow the arc and the two figures in the boat next to the gears, which are all separate from the ones in the elevator and carrying the light balls, so if you pair those 19 with the crowned figure, you get the same number of families that founded the world government, that being said, it's interesting that they get in the elevator with halos, and after they descend into the flames they come out without them, I think this makes references to the flames of war burning in their hearts, filling them with vices and thus losing their purity, as the first world verse said, but they could also be a representation of the slaves, but it's still interesting that there's 20 of them, as for the light balls, I do think they are mother flames, which were used as fuel in ancient times, I think they may be using them to power up Pluton, similar to how Franky uses cola to power up the Sunny, also this must mean that the moon worked with mother flames, wince we can see some around it, perhaps the resource they ran out of were mother flames, and that's why they had to go down to the white sea
The crowned man, Noah's arc and the elephant shaped blob are next, so first let's remember that Vegapunk said that it's hard to tell who was in the right and who was in the wrong in the whole conflict, with that being said, let's first talk about the crowned man, the crown has three prongs, and while this isn't uncommon at all, I'd like to point out that Imu's crown also has three prongs, so I think this figure is indeed Imu, pair that with the other 19 figures and you have the 20 allied nations
That being said I think the elephant is Zunesha, or maybe an ancestor of him, since Zunesha was born only 1000 years ago, we know that Zunesha committed a crime and his punishment has been to roam the New World with Zou in his back forever, I think this crime may have been having served Imu at some point, probably during the 200 years since his birth and the end of the void century (again, I don't think the elephant shown here is Zunesha, but an ancestor, like maybe the elephants served Imu for a while)
That said, Imu as the sun God, what I think happened here is that the 19 figures are in reference to the slaves who prayed for the sun God to liberate them, and the sun God they received was Imu, but after liberation they were touched by the flames of war, and they then killed the land God (big bad of their era) to claim the world as their own
I don't know how Noah ties into all this, since I don't remember mention of flooding before the war against the ancient kingdom, so I'll leave this one unexplained, but we do know that it was built by fish men sometime in the past, as for the angel... maybe Imu allied with a moon tribe at some point? no ideas for these one either
That was all for the right mural, let's move on
      Left mural:
Let's start with the miscellaneous people strewn around the center of the image, first of all we have Nika in his pose, I believe this to be Joy Boy, then there's a big guy right next to the devil, this would be normal giants, the even bigger guy would be the ancient giants, and his big ol stick might be the giant sword in Elbaf or the one in Onigashima, this guy could even be the owner of the Onigashima skull, then there's the Mermaid princess with a fish below her, this of course is the Poseidon that lived during the void century, and the fish is a sea king, the little guy in between the ancient giant and the mermaid princess is a Tontatta, the dog guy in between the regular giant and the mermaid princess and the dog guy next to the dragon are a Mink and a Sulong Mink respectively and lastly above Joy Boy there's a Lunarian
Bellow the Sulong MInk ther's Emet
There's a ship with the symbol of Alabasta, and then there's a long haired individual on top of it, this may be Lili, and bellow that ship is one that appears to have a ninja and a samurai, so a ship from Wano, on the four ships bellow that one has a member of the logn arm tribe, one is a black ship with what appears two headless people? (don't know if it will be the same black ship we've been told about by Laffitte), the other two ships are unremarkable
In between the Sulong Mink and the Lunarian there's two people atop a whale, while rain is coming from above, I think this is a representation of the great flood created by Uranus, the whale is an island whale, so they may have gotten that name not for their size, but because they may have literally been used as islands by people fleeing the flood
Lastly there's the devil, the ship alongside it and the three balls of light above him, I think this devil is Imu, I'd like to point out that the dragon and the devil look very similar to each other in this mural, which makes me think that after being touched by the flames of war Imu became the new land God, at first metaphorically, but later literally after having eaten his devil fruit, perhaps mistaking it for the Nika fruit, seeking to reclaim his title as God of the sun, the ship next to him is boarded by what appears to be knights, which would be the first iteration of the Holy Knights, and the three mother flames on top may have been used to power up Uranus, which I believe to be the sun in his hands

      Some extra notes:
With all that said, here's my reconstruction of events:
The first world was engulfed in a constant war fueled by the vices of men, the worst of which was known as the land God, the enslaved people of the first world prayed for liberation, and they received Imu, who proceeded to free the slaves, this enraged the God of the land, who created the red line to divide the world, Imu perhaps used a giant elephant and a giant ship built by the fish men to move his men around, Imu then enlisted the help of the moon tribes that had recently decended down to Earth due to a shortage of resources, namely the mother flame, which kept their whole civilization running, this people were technologically very advanced, and together with Imu they built two massive weapons, Pluton and Uranus, to finally defeat the God of the land, which they did, but the hearts of Imu and the freed slaves had been touched by the flames of war, and they sought to conquer the world themselves, this prompted the moon tribes to abandon them.
Some time after the defeat of the land God and the end of the first world a great kingdom emerged, formed by all the races of the world, who had found a way to make their dreams come true in the form of fruits, the king of this kingdom was the God of the forest, people of the D. clan seemed to be significant figures within this kingdom, and a particular member of the kingdom known as Joy Boy had become the new Sun God thanks to one of the fruits
The fact that even in the ancient poem they are called devil fruits implies to me that they were misused as weapons, this made them and by extension the ancient kingdom dangerous, which prompted Imu and his allied kingdoms to once again, Nefertari D. Lili belonged to both factions, and perhaps she didn't want to the defeat the ancient kingdom, but to stop the production of this fruits, however things soon got out of hand and the world wore witness to a war of immense magnitude, that ended up increasing the water levels by 200 meters, and with the eradication of the ancient kingdom, Imu, who had eaten a fruit that transformed him in the God of the land, alongside 18 of his allies claimed the world as their own and became their Gods, this enraged Nefertari D. Lili who didn't agree with the outcome of the war, and she used her power as a dreamer to make devil fruit users to become unable to touch sea water, this earned her the title of God of the sea, but she died soon after
      ================================================================
I think this also gives us the answer to two questions:
Two sun god fruits: There's two fruits of the sun god, one a liberator and one a destroyer, the liberator fruit (the one Luffy has) refers to Imu when he first appeared and freed the slaves, the fruit of destruction (the one Loki has) refers to Imu after he was touched by the flames of war
The two that will never meet again: I think this refers to Imu and the sea, twice a day the sun and the sea are in contact (which at some point creates the shape of a straw hat), Imu was at first the sun god, but after being touched by the flames of war and seeking to conquer the world he lost that title, evidenced by the fact that now he lives at the top of the world, and never comes into contact with the sea again, this was only possible once he defeated the Lunarians during the great war, since they had laid claim to the red line, still, by the beginning of the second world, metaphorically he was no longer the sun God
Then there's Lili, Goddess of the sea, I am of the believe that at some point Imu loved Lili (maybe even every blue haired woman from the Nefertari family), but by his own actions Lili ended up giving him the sea water nerf, and then Imu had her killed, this fully separates him from the sea, since he, as the sun God, killed the sea Goddess
at the end of the third world they will meet again, which may mean that Luffy will give him a big ol punch that sends him from the top of the red line all the way to the bottom of the sea, where he will die, and just like the sun does at sunset, he will become one with the sea, while the current sun, Luffy, stands proud atop the world
      =============================================================
I'm not really good at explaining myself, so if y'all want any clarification on anything I said, but before I end this post I want to talk about Aztec mythology, because I am of the belief that the moon people brought all technology with them from the moon and they are Aztec adjacent
In the Aztec creation myth Tezcatlipoca, God of the night and Quetzalcoatl, God of the wind, are two brothers that created the universe after killing a giant crocodile called Cipactli, who had 18 bodies (whatever that means), Tezcatlipoca sacrificed a leg during the fight, he then went on to become the first sun
Tezcatlipoca only managed to form half a sun, either because of his missing leg or because he was God of the night, this made Quetzalcoatl kick him out of heaven and replace him, taking the role of the second sun, this enraged Tezcatlipoca, who sent a quadrillion jaguars to kill the first civilization of humans, who were giants
Quetzalcoatl remade humanity during his tenure as the sun, but Tezcatlipoca was still mad and turned every human into monkeys, this made Quetzalcoatl very upset and he used wind to scatter monkeys all over the world (which is why they live on top of trees), Quetzalcoatl then stepped down as the sun
Tlaloc was the third, Quetzalcoatl made humans once again, Tezcatlipoca was still mad, so he slept with Tlaloc's wife and told him every detail, this made Tlaloc unfathomably mad, so mad in fact that the entire world was set ablaze, everyone died and he got demoted
The fourth sun was Tlaloc's new wife, Chalchiuhtlicue, Quetzalcoatl made humans again, Tezcatlipoca was still mad, he told everyone that Chalchiuhtlicue had become the sun not out of altruism, but for the adoration, the slander made Chalchiuhtlicue cry for 52 years straight, which flooded the world, every human that didn't transform into a fish (which they could apparently do) died
We currently live in the fifth sun cycle, the sun is called Tonatiuh, and it's prophesized end surprisingly has nothing to do with Tezcatlipoca
Where I want to go with this is that this is a tale of the first sun God that bitterly ruined the tenure of every subsequent sun God, similar to how Imu was the first sun god, he defeated Joy Boy, the second sun God, and we know that 200 years ago, Emet, who is fueled by Nika's heartbeat was up and moving, which means there was another Nika user back then, which makes Luffy at least the fourth sun God (liberator version), so Imu parallels nicely with Tezcatlipoca

forgot about that, to focused on the crazy lore that was shown in this chapter, I still like the idea of Imu granting powers so I guess Gunko was in the area lol
or Imu can create their own versions of devil fruits... that's probably to crazy

@@booksandtropes I do not think Gunko was the one to kill Cobra. I ruins the entire scene in retrospect and weakens the elder stars and Imu. Imu more than likely has his own power set that looks similar in that one way/move.

@@booksandtropes The theory that Imu greats powers/immortality to the elders is very much likely the case. I just don't think Gunko is even remotely important enough in the God's knights to even meet Imu let alone get powers from him.

@ I would think that too, but that arrow attack with sabo and cobra was just to similar. so if she wasn't there it's awful convenient that Imu has a nearly identical attack
most likely she was on guard duty near by, but if Imu does represent the earth or ocean (like some theories suggest) I can see them granting powers to those of high enough rank. with her connection to shamrock maybe she made the cut
