Absolutely adore the sound of rain. I actually curl up in bed when I listen as if it is right outside my window. Love to sleep to it,meditate to it,do chores to it and just let it play in the background in the house, it is to me,the most precious sound to the heart,mind and soul. Thank you God for your heavenly blessed rain.
I listen to this on my phone while I have thunder noises playing from my computer. Since the speakers are decent on my computer it creates this realistic rumbling/vibration noise to simulate actual thunder. With that and this it's the perfect mix. It's so relaxing and helps me sleep.

there are a few other sounds in this that sound closer than the rain like the sound of a door opening or misc other things that i found distracting/woke me up. but im a very light sleeper, hence the rain sounds.
Have you tried eating complex carbs at night? They are in potatoes. You can try salsa and a baked potato around an hour before bed. Or just Google it for more choices. Also, try not to eat sugary things after a certain time of day. Best of all listen to sounds like this one and try to let it play without disturbing it.
