Thanks bro I did it today and all thanks to you .I thought it sat a lil low till I watched this yesterday and went and looked at mine and brought it back up to where it should be,,I'll find out in a few hours weather it makes a difference on the way it feels going down the road loaded,,
My new air valve doesn’t air the bags up on its own unless I move the leveling valve arm down (flex air suspension)… could the “new” leveling valve be faulty? Or did I do something wrong during install? I plumbed all the lines into the same ports I took them out of on the old one so I’m stumped.. the air bag dump switch also works fine once I air the bags up manually and set the arm back to the middle
I have low low on my 2023 389. Tag says 6-3/4. On rear from center of axle to frame is 8in. I should adjust to 6-3/4? I’m confused on where I should measure.
What are you asking? what do you mean lower it for loads? the only time you want to dump your bags is if you need to get under a trailer or in my case, you dump your bags while dumping with dump truck. you saying your truck doesnt have an airbag dump switch to drop the bags? If it has bags, it will have a toggle in the dash unless someone installed the bags after the factory but even so, they should have installed a switch
Can you make another video and show how and where to measure
Thanks

What about on regular Peterbilt air leaf? Mine is a 99 model it's Peterbilt air leaf and I feel like it rides rough.
Great video. Good information. Thank you.
Hi
I own a 389 in Australia and when going of these measurements to get the OE frame height my truck is sitting on bump stops ?

On the video you said ahead of rear axle
Wich one is correct
You should measure between axles or if you can’t get to that spot, measure in the back of rear axle.
awesome video thank you I got my problem fixed
She loves my 8-3/4" ride.
Thank you for this video!!
How can you lower it for loads? There isn’t a switch in the cab

Need this on hydro Foiler boat trailer.. oh no winches the trailer avoid the water sip and slide slime
Why couldn't you just measure from truck frame to shop floor in one step?
It would change with different tire height
Cruising at 15 mph my 579 bounces up and down
I tho it was 8 1/2"
it is if you measure off the top of the axle housing.
