I recently bought a standard 22 GS and I’ve never had a bike that I liked more than that one it is truly a work of art I’m very satisfied with my purchase ride safe and stay upright

The basic GS has a different steering geometry. And if you get the lowered suspension GS, while still quite large enough for tall guys like us, it becomes a very excellent and amazing cornering bike due to the even lower center of weight. Use good road tires, and it will easily burn the corners off them.

Excellent review, top quality videography. Best explanation of the riding modes I’ve seen. Must admit the GS/GSA 1250 is my dream bike.

I have a 2021 Triple Black, and I believe with the many bikes I’ve owned (26), I’m 59 yrs old, I will not sell or Trade this one. It is simply the most perfect bike I ever owned.

The eco mode is for when you don’t have much fuel left to get to your destination. In this mode, the bike maximises the efficiency in order to maximise the rang on what’s left in the tank.

Super channel! Really enjoy your informative, personal and focused reviews. I know it is somewhat subjective to each rider, but just wonder if you might add a few lines in your reviews about how the bike feels weight wise to lift it off the side stand and general driveway manoeuvrability when pushing the bike around. Cheers!

Nice review. I do however have a different opinion on the screen. I tried riding with the small GS screen and there was very much wind buffeting, then I put on the GSA screen and it got somewhat better. However after putting on an aftermarket Puig screen, which is even taller and wider than the GSA screen it's quiet. So it all depends on personal factors, like how tall you are (I'm 190cm) and i.e. which helmet you're wearing. I ride a GSA by the way, but the wife rides the GS, so I can do a one on one comparison.

Did you just called my bike "simple and common? Lol. Electronics and suspension are the same as the adventure on my bike

    1. Space for Legs/seating position is absolutely the same on GS and GSA....the frame is the same, only difference is in suspension...GSA is 2cm taller.
    2. for me 184cm the windscreen is small - i am getting quite a lot of wind buffeting
    3. the noise from front tire is very loud on GS compared to any other bike I have ridden so far

Mine is a rallye, so suspension is the same, and regarding front tire noise, you are 100% right, is the loudest bike I have ever ridden!

Depends quite a lot on the tires I think. The anakee tires were horrible and very loud The A41 Bridgestone were not so bad.,, Preferred over the anakee for me by alot.

I'm curious. I have the 2020 version. No movable headlamp, and certainly not in the shape of an X. No position lights. No ECO mode. Windscreen noisy as hell. Did BMW sell me a Chinese counterfeit?
